  1. No thanks...stocked up on tees during the last tee promo.

If you're looking for something extra soft & comfy that washes well, the linen-cotton soft V-neck tee is perfect. I have it in every color :)

  2. No more tees for me. I would have considered a knit dress if this code included free shipping, but since it doesn't I'm not using it.

  3. I wish you could use more than one promo code at a time, because I would love to not pay shipping AND get 20% off of my tees! Sigh :(

  4. Regina, I LOVE the linen-cotton soft-V neck tees! I only have 2 and unfortunately did not discover them until they went on sale... now they're impossible to find online, and my store only has the 2 colors I already have. I'm hoping that next time they do a big sale update I'll be able to snag some more in my size. I'm really wishing for the bright hydrangea and sea spray - love!

  7. a comment about madewell's ecommerce site...same comment i've made about jcrew's before: why don't they have a "quick view" function so as you hover over the thumbnail you get a popup with a larger image and a few quick details? also why make you navigate back to the main page when you've looked at the detail page of one item, to go to the next? almost all other clothing sites have at least the quick view function. AE outfitters have both, and they even have a drop down of thumbnails for you to skip past several items in a category.

  10. OT: I have a jcrew swimsuit that needs washing but cut out the washing instructions tag...does anyone know the best way to wash their suits? By hand? Delicate cycle in the wash? TIA!

  11. would totally place an order on a couple of knits I've been wanting .... but $12.50 for shipping? NOPE!

  12. AppGal - the J.Crew recommended method to wash your suits is by hand with mild soap like Woolite. If your washing machine has a handwash cycle then it should be fine. That's how I do it. I also put them through an extra rinse and do not use fabric softener. Any detergent or softener left in your suit will leech out into the water when you get it wet. Not good for pools, hot tubs or natural bodies of water either.

    HTH!

  13. i just placed a $300 order at 10:10pm cst sunday night (expires in less than an hour) and the code did not work for the 20% off the knits and tee's!! i had 3 knit/tee's items that were in my basket- all $65-$69 each..i was forced to use the free ship code instead...bummer- i have emailed jcrew- and fully expect/ hope for them to adjust my order.

  15. well, i think there is a problem with the site right now- i was able to cancel the first order after 3 attempts- and re-place the order with it accepting the code- even though i had to pay $17.50 for shipping my order the second time with the 20% off code was $25 less than with the free shipping code! 4 minutes left to save- if the site works!
