J.Crew Video: When In Rome...

Remember Rome? I do, I do! There are a series of "behind the catalog" videos from the production company J.Crew hired, called Alarming Pictures (click here for their YouTube channel).

Perfect to watch on a lazy Summer afternoon. Charming music, vibrant colors, and such happy faces... I love it all!

I also plan on posting the other catalog/videos for the next few days because they are awesome! (Let's stretch out the walk down memory lane.) :)

  1. There's some new video with the pretty model online!

  2. Does anybody recognize the song playing on the J Crew homepage right now? It sounds like a bizarre knockoff of Carla Bruni's "L'amour", trying to copy the song as closely as possible without copyright infringement. But I could be wrong.

  3. OK- that's what came to my mind too that it was Carla Bruini...

  4. I wish Jenna would watch this video! This just made me nostalgic for J. Crew and really points out how depressing the new arrivals are. I haven't bought anything from the last two rollouts. Look at the models! Look at the clothes! Yummy!

  6. I love those two models, they look so happy and fresh and pretty...none of the stunned bunny expressions JC models have adopted lately. I also like that they look older than 17.

  7. The video is gorgeous but a little depressing at the same because it makes me realize all the things I really miss about the old JCrew...color, beautiful fabrics and patterns, true feminine cuts and styles. Those were the days...sigh!
