  1. Awesome, thanks for posting!

I'm looking for a basic, white button-down shirt. Can anyone give me feedback on either the Heritage Oxford Shirt or the Heritage Poplin shirt?

  2. Oh boo...it's only offered on select styles, and of course not the items I want! Oh well...would still like feedback on those two shirts :)

  5. I was so excited when I got this e-mail that I didn't notice that it was only good on select items until AppGal pointed it out. Luckily, the dress I have my eye on (the pleat front dress in navy) is one of the sale items. Have any JCAs tried this dress? What did you think?

  6. Hi all-
I have ordered the "Fit & Flare" dress and the "Smocked Slub Jersey Dress" and love them both! Best of all...I got a personal hand written thank you card a few days later. Excellent customer service!

  7. I just bought the Heritage Oxford in chambray - size 0, I would say it fits a tiny but smaller compared to regular Lands End. The quality is great and the fit is fantastic. I am Petite and I find the Canvas line of tops to fit really well - even the seersucker jacket is great in chest and shoulders but a little long in sleeves.

Anyway, I actually think their quality is a little better than J.Crew.

  8. Also, just a quick thing - if you have a Canvas line at a Sears near you, apparently there is a 30% in stores on everything starting Wednesday. I was just there yesterday and overheard the salesperson. You might want to call your local store and double check though.

  9. This is great! I ordered 2 more of the Cotton Lawn Camp shirts. I already have the Gull Grey dot one, and I just ordered the navy dot and the Aurora Red flower one. I love the fit and details on these!
Because I wanted a little more fitted look and these are more of a relaxed fit, I went ahead and sized down. I usually wear a 2 in J Crew's perfect shirts, and I ordered a 0 in these, and they fit about the same.

  10. fyi: Unlike many LE codes, this one is only valid on limited items ("summer favorites"). The heritage cardi, oxford shirt and poplin shirt aren't included.

  11. How is the sizing for clothing-- tops, bottoms, and bathing suits-- compared to JCrew?

    TIA!!

  12. Kendra, I usually size down in sweaters and tees with LE because the S/M/L sizes at LE are sized slightly larger than JC. For instance, a JC size medium is 8-10 but LE medium is 10-12. With number sizes, I usually order the same size.

  14. Amanda - thank you for the in store sale heads up! I'm so tired of ordering and returning things (from any retailer), I'd rather go in in person and try on.

  15. Alexis, got the email and heads up on my FB account, but then as usual your blog gave me a little push. No that I usually need encouragement to shop.

Just a dark brown belt for chinos and jeans for me. I don't need any more summer items and the fall roll outs will soon be here enticing me.
