Quick Note From A J.Crew Personal Shopper

A personal shopper at J.Crew (also known as Anonymous at 5:10 PM in the "New Arrivals Online & New Sale Items" post) shared with us the following:

As a PS, I can tell you that our September goods arrived this morning and will hit the floor Thursday and Friday. They will be released via the catalogue and website next week, which is what they usually do. In the stores, markdowns are done either Tuesday night or Wednesday night. I don't know how it is done for direct. And yes, the habit JCrew has of having different promotional prices at stores and direct drives us nuts too.

First, I am always thrilled to hear from a J.Crew employee (so "thank you!" Anon at 5:10PM!) :) Second, I am delighted that the new merchandise will hit stores soon. Third, about the markdowns happening on Tuesday or Wednesday night- very cool to know! :)

What do you think about the latest Fall arrivals? Planning to stop by a store next week to see the new clothes? Have you already been eying some pieces (for those lucky few of you who have received the new catalog already)?

  1. From what a couple of posters have said already they aren't too excited about the new Sept. arrivals. If that is so, then I am disappointed. I guess I am one of the few that hasn't like all but one or two pieces from Aug. and was really hoping Sept. would blow me away...plus, I have a rewards card to spend in the next couple of weeks. I am unable to receive a catalog b/c of where I live and really wish JCrew would get the online catalog updated...I would really appreciate this little act of kindness.

  2. Perfect timing - I can drag my mom and sister to the store with a good excuse (she needs to pay her J.Crew card bill.) Hopefully they'll have new items!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Anonymous at 5:36PM: I am worried that the new arrivals will underwhelm me as well. But I will leave room for hope when I go visit a store. :) I also couldn't agree with you more that J.Crew needs to update their catalog section on their site. I think that is such a wonderful feature that they are not utilizing to its most. :)

  4. Katherined: If you go to a store soon- please let us know what they have available. :)

  5. WEBSITE DOWN. OY MY GAWD.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Just today...J.Crew sent an email on free shipping until Friday, Aug. 22. And of course, as a true J.Crew aficionada, I checked on their website immediately...only to be disappointed! It's not available AGAIN! It's been such a long time now ever since they started upgrading it. If J.Crew needs able technical guys to do it, they can contact me. It's getting frustrating, especially when you see an item that you really liked and then the website would go unavailable. Maybe they should just go back to the old one.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Crewgal: The website should be back up now. :) Can't believe they are still having these website issues though. :(

    ReplyDelete
  8. still down. I've started going back to the gap for clothes and express too, for pants. this is rather disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Just checked and the website worked for me:)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hmm, the site is working fine for me today.

I was in my B&M today to pay my bill and the manager could hardly contain her excitement about the new items in the back. In fact, she showed me what she was holding back for her niece. My store will have all new items tomorrow!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'm glad to hear about the markdown days, but sad to know the September catalog is basically a repeat of August...I will wait for the rest of the items on my wishlist to go on sale, and hope that October brings new, exciting offerings. :) I don't really need anything, nor is anything I see now a *must have*, so I will save my money in hopes of a Fabulous, Exciting October Catalog (and great sales).

  12. So strange, it looked like it was coming back, then I clicked on "women" and I got the be back soon message. I'm cursed

    ReplyDelete
  13. crewgal: your "OH MY GAWD" comment made me chuckle!

    Alexis: Will do! =D

  14. I received my cataloq yesterday, I found August cataloq was much better. There was not 1 item that would make me rush and purchase. There are some nice things, but nothing that would make me buy at fp.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm hoping that in the September catalog the heathered argyle sweater featured in the look book (which isn't working in the men's section currently)will be available. That's one item I'm very interested in along with the double cloth scarf from the August catalog. Yeah I know it's way too warm and early to think about a scarf, but I get the feeling this one will go quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  16. jcrew guy in Canada: I did a quick look in the Sept catalog there was nothing but solid color sweaters, maybe it will be online.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I was told by someone at J Crew CS the site would update tomorrow! We'll see!

    ReplyDelete
  18. What month last year did the "Paris" catalog come out?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Weab - that's what I thought! Then this catalog *should be* blockbuster. Does it compare?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm ready for my new catalog!!!! I know my store was getting new stuff on the 20th (opps that's today). The manager said it was a small shipment. Will probably stop by there this weekend.

Does j Crew do price adjustments? I did buy several full price items last week (couldn't resist).

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous @ 6:37 - thanks for the update on the sweater. I'll definitely be checking the website since the catalog didn't come through. Here's hoping I can get it. Maybe I'll preorder it. How has that been working for people lately?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Molly: I don't think so. This one is set in Prague: "5 Days in Prague". I don't think it's nearly as magical as Paris but then how can you top that one...Also the pieces are mostly repromotes whereas last year's Paris was all new and they even included an accessories insert (last year). Sort of a let down imo.

This one has a sort of vintage-y feel/look. Lots of combos with oranges and browns. Not bad but not earth-shattering either. :( Oh well, at least I can save some money until October...

    ReplyDelete
  23. pink1: yes they price adjust. I think it has to be within 14 days on items purchased at full-price. But sometimes, they've been flexible on these points with me. Again, a note to the inconsistency.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Weab, that's what I was thinking. Last year there was so much good stuff, I had to make some VERY difficult decisions. Some of which I still regret (like sending back the camel herringbone Bella!).

It's not like a I need any new clothes anyway. hehe

    ReplyDelete
  25. btw, last week my mom and I had planned on bypassing our b&m (5 minutes away) and making the trek about an hour away to see the new roll-out at the "Lux" b&m this Friday but now I think I may pass.

    ReplyDelete
  26. molly: I know what you mean! I returned the black bella! Aahhh!!! At least I'm not alone in my regret. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  27. At the time, I had STUPIDLY assumed that every september would feature a showstopper jacket. I thought there was NO WAY anyone should have ONE JACKET in multiple colors.

I feel so foolish! I don't even want to talk about the vintage violet sweater I passed up. :(

    ReplyDelete
  28. Just an interesting tidbit - J.Crew has had over the past two weeks a number of "web developer, web designer" jobs posted on Monster, Career Builder and LinkedIn. Some appear to be re-postings.

Clearly all is not well on the system/web development side of the business........

    ReplyDelete
  29. I have been dying to see the new September arrivals. :) Do you know when they'll post them online?

    ReplyDelete
  30. OT - does anyone know if the white or black Jackie cardigans ever go on sale? Maybe at the end of fall as they transition them out for heavier sweaters? Just wondering if I should wait, or if there is no hope since they are staple colors

    ReplyDelete
  31. Beth, I don't think black or white are ever on sale in Jackie, Kelly or Slim stretch shirt.

Douglas, that's hilarious and a little sad. Maybe I"ll send my resume. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  32. I am mega pissed right now. Sorry I need to tell someone and since my fiance doen't even know I order online I have to vent here. Placed an order last Wednesday. Called both Monday and Tuesday of this week because I wasn't getting a tracking number. One CS gave me a tracking number that didn't work, another told me that it was ready to go but didn't have a tracking number yet. This latest CS tonight told me that none of the items will ship (total of 5) because they are out of stock. Which is a complete lie because some are still available when I looked tonight. So the order is cancelled even though the items were there (in plenty I was told) when I ordered them and are still available right now!!! BLah!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. beth - I saw Jackie shells in black & white on sale in Pleasanton, CA. They had quite a few in Pleasanton in white but that was a week and a half ago. I saw the black & white slim stretch shirts on sale in July in Walnut Creek, CA for $39.99. I don't know if there was a specific reason why (I.e. fit or cut they are transitioning out of) or the store could get clear stock. I agree that you are usually hard pressed to find black or white on sale.

    ReplyDelete
  34. jcrewbug: So sorry to hear what happened with your order! Did the rep offer to place a new order or give you a discount or free shipping for your next order? If not, then you should call back and speak to a manager...what happened to your order is just absurd!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I know this is OT, but I just need to vent, and the topic jogged my memory. I decided to take advantage of the offer of a 20% discount for people making an appointment an establishing with a PS. I sent in a request by email for a PS appointment three nights ago (via the net or phone, not in person), and I have not even received so much as an automated email response! Now, I'm afraid the time window for the offer has come and gone, but more importantly, I am not impressed.

Do any of you use the PS service online or by phone? If so, what has your experience been? thanks for any input!

    ReplyDelete
  36. jcrewmama: I think you still have time, as the coupon email says to schedule by August 29th. Maybe you should send another email or even call in?

    ReplyDelete
  37. FFM: Thanks for your empathy. They offered to place another order for me with alternative pieces but nothing really came close to what I had ordered so I passed. I really can't get over the inconsistent feedback I was given. Shipped, not shipped, Shipped, not shipped. Amazing!
P.S. I decided to stay with the Small on the dream tie. I tried both on for my neighbor and she said the XS just looked too tight in my arms. My upper arms are kind of disproportionately larger than the rest of me for some reason. Well my neighbor liked the sweater so much she kept the XS for herself (she is a tiny person). The XS fit on her like the S fit on me so we were both happy :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. jcrewmama: I had the same thing happen. When I called CS the first time, I never got a call back or an email (even though she said she would personally hand the request to someone). So I called CS and pressed 3 again. This time I spoke with a very helpful person who sent the e-mail for me.

I heard back from the store within a couple of hours to schedule an appointment but never heard back from them on a time. Oh well, the second lady did note in my request that I had a ps coupon for 20% off that I wanted to use. So now I have just been calling them and placing orders letting them know about the additional 20 off and haven't had any problems using it. Hope this helps.

    ReplyDelete
  39. OK, I received two Jackie cardigans in XS today and while I still like the Medium fit better they will certainly do. I guess that what I didn't like was how tight the arms on the XS felt. I was able to get it in the Spicy Mustard (to go with my Lime Amelia) and Rhubarb (don't know what I will wear this with, but the color is beautiful!)

    ReplyDelete
  40. jcrewmama and ffm: I called the day the e-mail went out about the PS, since the form online was not working. I spoke to a CS in special occasions who said she would set me up and that I would hear from someone within 48 hours. It is now a week later, and I have heard...nothing.

I want to spend money with you, J.Crew, but this is yet another example of how you are conspiring against me (to add to my missing, canceled, not-sure-what-is-going-on-orders-we-have-no-clue -and can't-tell you recent web orders/purchases).

    ReplyDelete
  41. jcrewbug: sorry about your ordeal! I think they really have no clue what's going on over there and just try to placate the customer as well as they can in the mean time.

    ReplyDelete
  42. weab,

Oooh, they've let you apply the 20% on phone orders? I didn't think I'd be able to do that, but now I am definitely going to pursue getting something set up with a PA. Thanks, weab jacquelyn and FFM for the feedback and suggestions. I just sent another email and will call tomorrow if I get no reply.

    jcrewmama

    ReplyDelete
  43. jcrewmama: Let us know what happens.

jacquelyn: lol! I know what you mean about trying to spend money with them. I feel that I have gotten to the point where I'm begging them and they won't let me...my husband must have gotten in someone's ear over there. ;)

  44. I have enjoyed your blog very much and just wanted to say that right off.

With the personal shopper experience, mine was mixed. I basically used the "locater service" only. What I didn't like was having to do the one item at a time thing. I was looking for some of the vintage bootcut corduroy pants in several colors and would have liked to have done one search for the same item in different colors. The first was perfect, but the second one was pretty bad. The CSR did not input a complete address and FedEx apparently couldn't figure it out. They left a message for me to call back with the complete address. Took over a week due to that one mistake.

I'm not jazzed about what I have seen on the website and I haven't received the September catalog yet. This summer I've purchased very little--2 pairs of the new buttery chinos in city fit. They're awesome.

What I found most disappointing about this summer's crop was the tops. I managed to find better tops at lower prices at unexpected stores.

I really appreciated the info about when the sales generally begin. It's maddening trying to figure out when you get most bang for your buck.

Generally, I think I've been very fortunate with sales. I think those buttery twills were the only J.Crew items I've ever purchased where I've paid full price. I did that because I knew when they were put on sale, they would be gone.

I wanted to share this with everyone because I was really curious to see if it had happened to anyone else. Earlier this year, I was going back and forth to the website waiting for the vintage bootcut cords to go on sale. Apparently, I missed the major portion, but here's the kicker. After they were removed from the website (could not pull anything up there), I did a Google search just using the key words for the pants. I followed the link and nearly every color was available at a price of $29.99 just what I had paid at a sale for a few in a store at the sale price. I scooped three pair up and came back for 2 more within about a two-week period. This happened literally right before summer hit.

The only fall item I want is more colors of the vintage bootcut corduroys. My closet is packed with them, but I am a sucker for these because they fit so well. In fact, most pants at J.Crew fit me like a dream. Can someone tell me what the Matchstick is like. Is it skin-tight or just a slim version of the regular bootcut ones?

Does anyone know whether it's true that J.Crew is supposed to be re-vamping the Favorite Fit in someway? And, if so, how are they doing it?

Happy and wise shopping to everyone!

Thanks again for an excellent blog!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Jcrewjunkie: It's great to hear that the color rhubarb is beautiful! I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. Haven't been able to check the status online though.

I was at a B&M two days ago, and all the SAs were clearing the shelves...They said they would receive new items and they told me Wed., which is today. I think I'll stop by tomorrow.

Just wanted to share my experience setting up an appointment with a PS. I sent the request online, and got an email back within 48 hours asking me to call the store to set a time. I don't really have any special occasions which require a special outfit. However, I'd love to check out their new items. What do you all do when you meet with a PS? Any feedback would be helpful! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I, too, was unable to set up a PS appointment online. I called the toll-free number, explained what and where and when, and never received a call back. I finally placed a call to the store directly. They let me use the 20% coupon on a couple of items that were catalog-only and one item that was sold out in my size.

    ReplyDelete
  47. P.S. Thanks Alexis. I plan to stick around on the blog but stay off of jcrew.com. (OK, I will probably break down and look at the new stuff on Friday.) But I am not buying anything until I go to the store on 9/9.

I am set to snap up a couple of great bargains on eBay if all goes well, so I guess there are still ways for me to scratch my J.Crew itch electronically :-)

    ReplyDelete
  48. hi hex! I'm so glad you're still here! I wanted to tell you yesterday that you are such a witty and entertaining blogger! It would be a shame not to have your input anymore. Regardless of what you decide to do with J.crew, please keep posting!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Jcrewmama: My PS is at the call center- call into CS and ask to speak to one. My PS is the one who makes the polyvore outfits. I love her! She will bend over backwards for you any day. I place my mom's orders through her now, MMiller has ordered through her and she is out of this world fabulous. I can not rave enough about her!!! I encourage you to call CS and ask to speak with a PS it will be worth the call!

    ReplyDelete
  50. FFM: I think you said this but I might have people confused. I echo you right now. I am not really jazzed about anything they have. I love the denim pencil skirt. BUT there is no way in all heck that I am paying full price for it. It is more than my cropped matchstick jeans were full price and there is LESS material! Its a nice skirt but not worth full price by any means! That is pretty much the only item that I have even taken a double look at this week!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ok I lied... I have also taken a double look at the Liberty Fabric twisted-placket shirt and I like what i have seen.--- still not paying full price for it though!

    ReplyDelete
  52. i just received my order (in full) today - yay! i had called in my order & the CS was really great.

i really love almost everything i got, but the cashmere short-sleeve sweater (item 90723)

i got it in the azalea color (which is like a spring green) in a size S and it is enormous! i'm so disappointed as i really love it but unless it can be shrunk, it looks rather baggy on me.

does anyone else have this sweater? if so, do you find it runs large? also, i think it's been mentioned before that final sale items are potentially returnable at b&m. is there anything i need to do in order to be able to return a 'final sale' item?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Ok I lied... I have also taken a double look at the Liberty Fabric twisted-placket shirt and I like what i have seen.--- still not paying full price for it though!

    ReplyDelete
  54. weab: thanks. I've had a glass of wine and I'm less pissed than I was before. I really really am disappointed. I'd been stalking two of the items since they came out. I really thought I had finally scored a pair of Shorts in Sweet Papaya. :(

    ReplyDelete
  55. JCrew Guy in Canada: It is never too early to think about scarves!!! :)

Anon at 6:49 PM: I hope the CS person you spoke to was right about the site update tomorrow- that would be fantastic! :)

Douglas: I think the job listings are hysterical- an obvious sign that there is still some major issues over there. ;)

Brantford_Kid: Thanks for the nice words. :) Also, I love the buttery twills as well. They are fabulous! :) Also, the Google search was great for finding those no-longer-linked items. I was told that the new system is suppose to take care of that, by allowing you to find those hard-to-find items. (But I liked the old website better.)

JCrewBug: That order fiasco is awful. I can't believe they just cancelled your order like that when you can see they are available now. :(

JCrewmomma: I can't believe they haven't responded back yet- usually they are very good about reply times. I would hope J.Crew honors the promo for you since you made the request prior to the promo ending. :)

Jacquelyn: Your "I want to spend money with you J.Crew" was funny! I loved it! It's too bad they are making it so hard for us to. ;)

Hexicon: I know where you are coming from. After the website fiasco, I vowed to never purchase from J.Crew again. Then I vowed to not purchase from J.Crew online, but in store was okay. Now I am broken down, and will buy anywhere I can. Your analogy of a sometimes bad boyfriend fits so well for J.Crew. ;) But I want to say that I would be thrilled if you stay here. We love your comments and input! :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. franko - I have and wore the cashmere tee today. I found it true to size and it didn't stretch out while I was wearing it. I was concerned that it might.

    ReplyDelete
  57. ...oops -- perhaps someone else can make a suggestion about returning yours to a b&m, or you might try the swap/sell here in the blog next week. I think if you try to return to b&m, blame it on color; not fit.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Blumre:

Who's the J Crew personal shopper who does polyvore sets? I'd love to see her work.

If anyone's in Seattle, I did a personal shop with Karlyn on Tuesday, and she was lovely. Really attentive and had me trying on things I would have passed by. Oh, this was at UVillage.

    ReplyDelete
  59. A quick question on the Olivia shell - does anybody have this and what are your thoughts on it? How versatile is it? What colours did you get? And how much is it in retail stores(I remember seeing this info earlier but really can't remember what thread it was in!)
Can this top be layered with a shirt (i.e. collared shirt) underneath and how does that look?
    Thanks!!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. a: I have the Olivia in Navy and Snow. My store has it for 99.99 plus 30% off now. They have it in Navy, Snow, Geranium, Brilliant Blue and Sour Lemon. I found it to run just a little bit on the big side. I don't need to wear a cami under it (and it doesn't look obscene) :) I think you can wear a collared shirt under it too but I haven't tried that yet. I love it and I know that Shannee and Blumre also purchased it and love theirs too.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanks Weab for the information! How do you wear yours? Does it work on top of skirts as well (the length looks a bit long on the website/catalog) or is it more of a "pants" look?

    ReplyDelete
  62. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  63. a: Here's a polyvore set that I wore this past weekend. I'm 5'2 and it hits me low on the hip. I think it can still be worn with a skirt but it should be a more form fitting one. The top is just so flattering. I was very pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. (I had expected not to like it and ended up leaving with two.) :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. a: Here's another one I did with a shirt under it.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thanks so much Weab! When I first saw it in the catalog, I didn't think much of it but I'd heard several people on here raving about it so thought it would be worth a try! I had the same with the dream tie cardigan (had never ever expected to try it on and only did after hearing the raves for it on this website!)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Weab - NOW you tell me about wearing a top underneath the Olivia. ;-) I will definitely reconsider if I see it again in b&m. After my fast of course...

    ReplyDelete
  67. Re: the Olivai. As a more gifted person in the chest area I would say that I LOVE the olivia. It really doesnt show too much and it looks completely gorgeous on! It goes with pants, capris or walking shorts. It hides your gut on those "bloated days" with out making you look pregnant and it is SOOOOO soft and comfy. I bought it in the briliant blue color. It was $45 dollars for me- 40% off plus my educators dicount. So, originally it was $99.99. A Very Excellent buy in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'm excited to see what does come out in September, although I'm not dying of anticipation or anything. More than anything else, I just want the perfect fit tees to go on two-for sale, so I can justify buying a bunch. I always need new t-shirts.

I think some of you have mentioned this before; it is hard to get excited about fall clothes when it is still in the 90s :)

    ReplyDelete
  69. wow. was the Olivia you bought the cashmere version, and if so, were they only on sale in stores? I have been eyeing it online for a WHILE and assumed it was a fall addition that wouldnt be on sale for a while.

About JCrew cashmere in general, especially the tees, i find that they do run BIG on me. In most other brands, I prefer a medium, but I always have to size down to a small with Jcrew. Last winter's brass button dream cardigans were the worst. So either I get a medium and it is baggy in the waist and sleeves, or I get a small and it is just a smidge too fitted in the chest (I dont even have a big chest) and fine in the sleeves and waist. I'm more like a size 6-8, so I can only imagine how these sweaters are fitting people who are any smaller.

Anyway, I am still addicted and have WAY too much jcrew cashmere and now I need to track down one of those olivia shells!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. girlinboston:yes I believe they only have a cashmere version... so yes, that is the one I have. Size down in the olivia! I normally buy a small in Jcrew cashmere and I bought an XS in the olivia!

P.S. to all I also made polyvore outfits with it. I have the same name on polyvore as I do here... if you need Ideas feel free to check them out.

    ReplyDelete
  71. blumre- thanks! can i ask how recently it was on sale in stores, and which colors?

    ReplyDelete
  72. I saw it in the navy, white, ruhbarb, and brilliant blue. I did not see the wheat color. They had a lot there this weekend but it depends on the store you go to obviously.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I am so glad to see all this conversation on the Olivia! I too tried it on at my b&m this weekend and thought it was extremely flattering. I ended up not buying it as I did not know what to wear it with. I figured if it was warm enough for me to want to wear sleeveless, I wouldn't want to be wearing cashmere! I should have grabbed a long sleeve tee or something to see how I would feel with it with something else underneath.

Aaahhh! Now you guys have me thinking I need to go back and get it! My b&m had it for $99 plus 40% off. I tried on the navy and thought it was stunning.

    ReplyDelete
  74. kristen and blumre: which B&M's were the Olivia at 40% off?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Kristin: I wore the olivia yesterday in 80 degree heat! The cashmere let the breeze through and it felt marvelous on. Its a light cashmere and it really was such a nice a breezy top!

I can see wearing it in winter with a jacket or sweater of it too. It would keep you nice and warn under your blazer. I say its a true "love it" piece!

    ReplyDelete
  76. FFM: I was at Bellevue, WA, last Sunday. They had quite a bit of them, but I am not sure of colors/sizes. I've been lurking here for quite a bit but never thought I'd be posting so I didn't pay attention to details at the store! Sorry - I'll do better next time!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. FFM: As of this weekend it was at the greenwich and west farms mall stores in connecticut!

Dont know about the current sale... is the 40% still going on or was it lowered to 30%? Anyone know?

    ReplyDelete
  78. I LOVE all the cashmere shells. I just bought a bunch of the summerweight ones at about $35 each online. I wear them over a simple t shirt in a contrasting color, like the linen-cotton scoopneck tees, with a pencil skirt and sometimes a skinny belt around the waist. it's really, really comfortable for work, but still looks very professional and put-together for wearing a t shirt. For now, I would probably do the same with the olivia, maybe without the belt.

I plan to wear them over long-sleeved shirts in the winter. I think they're very versatile and comfortable. and now, I am calling my store to see if they have any Olivia tops!

  79. blumre, thanks for the info! The JC I was at is not super convenient to get to (esp with 3 kids in tow, we are still on summer vacation here), but I am really thinking I need to go back and at least try it on again! I loved how I felt in it, but decided I had to put it back on the rack. $60 for cashmere I might not wear that often was too high for me. A slight cap sleeve would have made this perfect for me (I don't really like my arms). But all the positive reviews here have got me leaning towards it again. You are reinforcing my initial thoughts that it was an awesome, very flattering top!

  82. My store (Copley Place) also has them in the navy, blue, yellow, pink, and white. She said that they dont know how long the extra 30% off is going to last so i should get them today if possible. I held a navy and a brilliant blue (which makes me feel a little better about my regal purple cashmere shell being cancelled).
She did say though, that there were LOTS of colors and sizes left, so maybe they will go on sale further... after my cancellations though, I am going to just take the leap and get them now.

Anyway, I am SO excited that i'm finally getting these tonight.
    Thanks blumre and everyone else!
