Dear J.Crew Aficionadas & Aficionados: Please feel free (and encouraged) to share your thoughts and opinions. :) However, please note that this is still a personal blog. So comments that are considered inappropriate (e.g. obscene, racist, homophobic, personal attacks, rude, and just plain mean) will be removed.
And now back to J.Crew! :)
I think MMiller may want to wander down there at some point. If he does I will ask him to write a review. If I go with him I will absolutely write a review.
ReplyDeleteBlumre: I think that is a great idea!!! I would LOVE a "his" and "her" review of the store. Please, please, please consider it. :) I would totally post both your reviews in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteI will be on West Broadway for a haircut on Friday... I will go in and report back (though I don't have any men to shop for, the store itself sounds interesting).
ReplyDeleteHe is pretty shy but I will try and talk him into it ;)
ReplyDeleteWe might go thursday or sunday... I'll keep you guys posted!
His birthday is labor day weekend anyway and I am all out of ideas! :( Yikes! Maybe he will throw me a bone and let me take him to Jcrew.
yeah blumre! you must convince mmiller to write a review! I would love to read his perspective as well as yours...
ReplyDeletealso - how cute is their ad of the little man drinking? love it!
hey who knows maybe if we go on opening day we will get a free shot or something! Also for past new stores (think natick mall in boston) I got coupons to spend there... I didnt get anything of the sort for this store. Big bummer!
ReplyDeleteblumre: you didn't get a coupon? because you are so right, usually when a new store opens by you, you get a coupon (I did with the annapolis, MD store anyway). that's stinky they didn't send one this time around.
ReplyDeleteP.S. If they serve Liquor at the new mens only store I will be in big trouble... I wish they would do that at the Co-ed stores!!
ReplyDeleteblumre: Okay right now I'm so jealous you. I'd love to go check out this store. Although I'd spend a ton. Maybe it's better I can't go.
ReplyDeletePlease give us a detailed review and then I'll know what to order.
I was in the city this weekend to attend a show at the Javitz Center. Anyway, I made a special trip all the way to this store, but it wasn't open yet- SADNESS! I guess I'll have to try again on my next trip up from NC.
ReplyDeleteblumre: This sounds so exciting for you, and I can't wait to hear your review! I also hope MMiller will agree to post his, as well...tell him we said *pretty please*. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhy can't there be a women's only store??
ReplyDeleteanon @ 10:33 - My closest b&m only carries women's clothing so women's only stores do exist. Not sure how different a men's only store will be, but I believe one characteristic is that it is small.
ReplyDeleteWe are aboput to sit down to dinner. So this is just a quick note. We will write our reall review later. But We saw Mickey Drexler at the store. I will give a full review later. We didnt say anything to him... mostly because I didnt even realize it was him until after we left and MMiller pointed him out to me. But he was there!! Ok dinner time will write more later
