A Note From A J.Crew Employee

Anonymous at 6:46 PM (who is an employee at J.Crew) shared with us the following in the post "Personal Shopper Offer: Free Style Advice & 20% Off On Your Order":

Hey all,

Im a SA at JCREW and seriously we LOVE helping you! (or at least I do) Sometimes the store can be soo boring and when I ask customers if they're finding everything ok they dont even look at me and just say "ya" in an aggravated tone. All I want to do is help!

When I do get friendly customers they always tell me what a delight I am to work with. Seriously, tell me your size, and go into your fitting room and Ill take care of the rest! I had a customer come in with a jacket and she asked me what would go with it. I set her up in the fitting room, asked her size, and then just started bringing her tshirts, tanks, anything in her size that would match the jacket. I think she ended up with 23 shirts to try on, and she ended up just picking one cotten t which was on sale for $9.99. She said that no one had ever given her that much attention in a store before and she was very thankful. Thats the job of a JCREW SA, to serve you in every way that we can. PLEASE JUST ASK FOR HELP! ITS OUR JOB TO FIND YOU WHAT YOU NEED!

And if your SA ISNT helping you, or treating you with the respect you feel you deserve, just ask to talk to a manager! The managers will do anything to make your shopping experience better. The worst thing for us is when a customer leaves unhappy.

First, I am always thrilled to see comments from J.Crew employees. I love hearing their perspective on J.Crew matters. Second, I would love this employee to be my Personal Shopper- she sounds wonderful! :)

What do you think of J.Crew's employees? Do you have any stories about great or awful experiences with J.Crew employees? Which stores have the best employees in terms of customer service (and which stores do you think have the worst)?

  1. I've had both fantastic experiences with SA's, as well as really awful ones. One SA at the Valley Faire store talked me into buying a $600 3-piece suit. Even when I later found the $140 skirt on sale for $20, I didn't regret the purchase--he was so delightful to work with, and his comments were dead on. I'm normally a bargain shopper at that store, but I've never been made to feel guilty for returning $200's worth of online merchandise, or purchasing only a $4 belt from the sale section. I really appreciate SA's that treat me as a valuable customer even when I'm not ringing an armful of clothes! As a general rule, most of the SA's are extremely helpful and polite, and I definite prefer the customer service here, as opposed to most other retail stores.

On the other hand, some of the SA's at my current store (whoopie, I'm moving in a week!) seem so officious, or act very disapprovingly when I'm making a small purchase, or simply browsing. They also make it very difficult to use my student ID. One, for example, asked for my school email. Since I'm a graduate student, that email is both my "career" as well as my "student" email, so I've very protective of it, and have always used a separate email for all of my purchases (in the past, I've received so much spam that within 24 hours, my box was filled and I missed some rather critical messages). I simply will not use that email for anyone outside of my immediate family and my students and academic colleagues. Though I explained this to her, she refused to let me use another email. I walked away without purchasing the item. I had my student ID, and I've been a regular (2-3 times a week!) customer for months...I don't understand why she insisted on making it so difficult.

  2. I have had great service at my B&Rs. With the exception of that snotty remark (that I mentioned in another post) from one manager about my combining my student discount with the additional 30% sale price, I've always left happy.

Most of them know me at my store and always greet me and even ask about the planning for my upcoming wedding. I am really amazed they remember that and take the time to ask. All the SAs are fab. Love them! They are quick to point out all the promos to me which is awesome. I guess they have me pegged as a bargain shopper :)

One manager moved stores to the one about 45 min from me. I was over on that side of town and stopped into that store and she was so excited to see me!! She is really a lovely person and I look for her whenever I make it over to that store.

On a side note I've also noticed that it is way easier to shop there amongst other customers. I can't tell you how many times I am bumped into at BR, ON, and elsewhere. J Crew shoppers are polite, don't crowd me, and certainly don't knock me with their handbags!! :)

  3. I had a very nice SA today. I had called to make an appointment with the PS (on-line never called me back so I called the store directly). Their PS was on vacation but the SA who filled in took very good care of me and I wound up dropping over $500 (after the 20% discount). I'm glad that we heard from an SA who's so enthusistic about his/her job. I just wish I could make it to the B&M more often

  4. Overall I am happy with the b&m employees at JCrew. I have to say that I definitely did not feel welcome at 2 of the 3 stores near me. I have tried to be friendly 1st and that hasn't always helped, unfortunately. I feel it's definitely changing since they have seen me more often. I think the stores would do well to treat everyone like a million bucks. Don't judge us by what we look like. Sometimes my cards are burning a hole in my pocket and I don't always dress up to shop. All it takes is for a SA to show an interest in me and I am suddenly more interested in the merchandise. If I don't feel welcome, I am less inclined to purchase.

As far as the employees -- I have encountered a couple that are just waaaay too high strung. It's sad when you see a SA making a 100yd dash to a customer they think is going to spend a lot of money. I don't know if they are on a quota or something, but they shouldn't push. The nervous energy makes me nervous even when it's not directed at me. Just relax and take it easy. And finally -- if you don't love retail, find another occupation. Shopping is a hobby for many people and we want to have fun. If you are bored, you aren't any fun for us. The excitement of feeling good while shopping potentially offsets guilty feelings.

  6. Even the manager is rude at my J.Crew. It makes shopping there a chore sometimes. They always make me feel like I am bothering them. It seems like every time they get a nice person in there the don't stay for very long. The worst thing that happened recently was that I needed a ruffled henley and my size wasn't on the table, so i asked if they had any in the back and i was told no, in an abrubt tone. Then I noticed the manequin was wearing the color I wanted and I asked if it was possibly my size. I was told to take another color and try it on before they would check it as she tossed a different color in my size in my face from across the table. I could go on and on. It would just be so nice to walk into J.Crew and feel welcomed and appreciated and have knowledgable s/a. they didn't even know what a Fiona jacket was last time I was there and when they acted like it was really putting them out to call and find one, even though there were only 2 shoppers in the store, I just said never mind and left. Every time I visit its so frustrating. You would think they'd want to hire attractive, personable people who wear the clothes and know everything they can about their merchandise. But even an ignorant s/a should be nice. And don't even get me started about how rude they can be about store returns on catalog on online purchases. They seem to go out of their way not to be helpful. There is one male manager who is very nice always, but doesn't work the women's department and is rarely there when I go in. Thanks for giving me a place to vent.

  8. I live in Southern California and I have immediate access (all within 20 minutes drive) to 3 JCrew stores. For the most part, my experience at JCrew have been enjoyable; people are friendly and always willing to help. Though it's been rare, I have had a few experiences where a sales person isn't all too warm. But like I said, it's more of an an anomaly than the norm.

I'm also happy to report that I had my appointment with the Personal Shopper at the JCrew by my work this evening and it was awesome! She was helpful, patient, and very understanding. She got me out of my default black and helped me venture out to colors that I'd normally overlook because I don't know how to "match". I walked away with 7 items that I love, and to make it even better- I received 20% off!

Now, I'm waiting for fall to arrive so I can start wearing my fall clothes :-)

  9. For the most part, I have had good experiences, like getting offered water when all I have to try on is sale items.

I would add that it makes me sad when sometimes the SAs know less about JC merchandise than I do. When the new styles come out online, I try to find them in the store so I can verify size. So I know enough to ask for it by name and description.

It makes my day when I get a knowledgeable SA who, even if they don't know when an item will come in, can help me with alternatives or comparable items. Anytime an SA helps me get a "find"--something I've been looking/lusting for or just something hard to acquire, it is a good experience.

I also like it when the SAs pass along helpful info, like upcoming sales or inventory refresh dates. I just wish JC did not do "secret" sales--I would definitely buy more when I know what the deal is.

I guess I will have to try the PS again like Hexicon suggested. I did not get a call back even though they promised it would be within two days.

  10. I really like my store a lot. :) They are super, especially my PS. She tries on everything, so has great ideas about fit and drape and etc. They're always so nice and courteous and seem to strike that right cord of helping you and leaving you alone to try on clothes in peace!

  11. Fortunately I've had pretty good luck with most SAs. However, I have had some annoyingly rude ones. I was in the Walnut Creek, CA store the other day and there was literally NO ONE in the store except for me and my friend. We were just browsing...checking out what we wanted. My friend had a couple of things in our hands and all 3 SAs were ignoring us and wouldn't start us a fitting room.
(WHICH in my opinion is the MOST annoying thing EVER...having to wait around for one of the SAs to unlock a room) ANYWAY, I was looking at a pair of shoes and a SA was watching me (like I was disgusting or something) so I smiled at her to be polite and she just went about her organizing business and didn't even acknowledge I was there.

Jcrew frustrates me a lot. I LOVE when I get great service (who doesn't though?) but I'm incredibly turned off at shopping at a b&m when I receive such attitude from a damn SA! do your job and put a smile on, otherwise you're gonna cost your company $!

  12. Everyone at my store in Mall at Millenia is just fabulous! They always offer to start a dressing room, ask if I want a water bottle, get me different sizes if I need them, and have even taken clothing off of the mannequins for me to try on.

I want to add that I really don't like it when an SA *hovers* over me while I am trying to shop, but do like them to be available if I have a question or need a different size. The SAs at my store seem to know how to get that balance right, and it makes my shopping experience much more enjoyable.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Does the level of service customers receive from the SA depends on how the customer is dressed?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hexicon: I am glad your date went so well.

Some of the stores in NYC can be very welcoming, so aren't. I was glad to see this note from the SA and only wish every single on of the SA's was this kind and attentive.

They seem to know me at the columbus circle store but I also always get the feeling that they don't like me being there.

Therefore, I got to Rock Center or 45th and Madison or I wait until I am out of town on weekends and I go to west farms :)

P.S. Although not huge, the West Farms Mall store in Farmington, CT is still by far my favorite! All the SA's sound like this one who wrote us a note and every day I am there is always a great day (Mickey, give 'em all a big fat raise!)

  15. Ladies, need your thoughts on some items...I am 2 hours away from the nearest b&m store (sad, I know) so I can't try anything on.
Flowy jersey bateau dress? I LOVE their knit dresses, but I'm not sure about the cut of this neckline. I have pretty broad shoulders (what I get for playing volleyball throughout hs and college!) and don't know if it would work on me. Any ideas/suggestions?

Also, I left this question on another post but got no replies...I have never bought a jcrew tank before, and have been hearing a lot of you say how wonderful they are. I just want a basic one, like the favorite washed tank. Don't know if I should get one with shelf bra or not. Normally I like the shelf bras, but sometimes it alters the fit of the tank. Ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  16. anonnymous: I have walked in to a Jcrew before dressed HEAD TO TOE in Jcrew clothes (very obvious jcrew clothes) and gotten horrible service-- and trust me this was stuff that never went on sale and I looked awesome! However, once I ran seriously in nothing but mesh shorts and flip flops because I had just found out I needed to go to a gala that was formal but not black tie THAT night and I needed a dress. I have never had such attention in my life. Half the SAs in the store helped me and were bringing me outfits with suggestions!

I think you attitude and your approach matter more. That being said... I do try to look at least put together when I go shopping-- but I tend to do that when I walk out the door anyway (I live in NYC-- its truly unacceptable to do anything else). The mesh shorts and flip flops moment was a complete laps in judgment and hopefully will never happen again.

  17. Hi AppGal:

I dont like jcrew tank tops... the cut in too high on the shoulders and I can't wear a bra with them. The cut doesn't work for me. As another competitive athlete (former swimmer before major shoulder stabalization surgery, horseback rider and skiier) I am not a fan of how broad they make my shoulders look)--- try gap for those.

I was also not a fan of the flowy batteau dress. Everyone here likes is but I tried on an XS and it was still far to baggy and big. However, that may have been just the two i tried on b/c everyone here seems to adore them

  18. The SAs at Woodfield mall in Schaumburg, IL are WONDERFUL. They are a little more standoffish at the store at 900 N. Michigan, but the last time I was there, it was lunchtime and they were very busy. The guy behind the counter who rang me up was super sweet though (red hair - I'm a sucker for it).

    ReplyDelete
  19. appgal: I love their knit dresses, too, but this was one that didn't work on me. I have broad shoulders and a large chest and my regular size was too tight across the chest and the next size up was huge - the waist just hung off my body. I should have known that it wouldn't work without trying it on as boatnecks tend to emphasize my chest.

I love all but one of the sa's in my store. When I went in hoping to try on a tartine and they weren't in, I had 4 sa's working with me! The one that isn't very friendly is new, so maybe the longer he's there, the friendlier he'll get. I do think that if they don't know me, that I get better service if I'm wearing JC. However, I'm becoming known by a few, and am spoken to no matter what I'm wearing by them.

    ReplyDelete
  20. blumre: Thanks for the insight. I normally don't shop at the gap, so how do their tanks fit? I usually wear size xs in jcrew's tops. Do the gap's tanks fit bigger or smaller? (btw: I have also had shoulder surgery...sigh...the plight of being an athlete :) Hope your shoulder is back to good!)

  21. The few times I've been to a store has been great. The phone reps for the most part are good too. I only had one lame one and due to all the concerns he had to field I'm guessing he was just having an off day.

    ReplyDelete
  22. AppGal: Oh yea its back to good (it was 5 years ago)... Gaps tanks range. They can be very fitted or not at all. You should go try them on and see if they work. Tanks are just such a personal thing that I would feel weird advising you either way (plus if you ordered it and didnt like it I would feel like a shmuck).

    ReplyDelete
  23. I love JCrew tanks both with the bra and without. I am tall, have a medium frame, and fairly broad shoulders, and am smaller busted---I don't wear a bra most of the time unless I have to being a 36 A-- but I just adore them. Esp. b/c the solid ones have no irritating to my skin side seams. I have probably 20 of them! I watch for them to go to $4.99 or so and then buy them up usually during the end of winter sale...but I have bought some at full price too:)

  24. jcrewbug: I'm also putting this info about the ON skirt on Polyvore, but wanted to post it here in case you checked this first. :) The skirt is called the Old Navy High Waist Skirt and the item number is 483973. The original price is $29.50, but it has been on sale. The RN# is 54023 and it's from Summer '08, and it comes in Gray and Black. Hope this helps!

  25. Just placed a phone order for the 4th time trying to order the elusive sea glass piper tank that I was short shipped once and got cancelled 2 other times. I am trying not to hope too much.

Also, an order I placed for a top on Wed. evening still has not ship and the very nice CS Rachel could not find any tracking/shipping info. for it....not too hopeful on that one.....there are still lots of problems she said but they are working to fix them....

  26. I like the SA Aaron at the Mall of America store. He had a shocked look of surprise/happiness to see me when I walked in this summer after not seeing him for a year due to living overseas. He remembered me---I was in every week for 4 years--and he was very attentive and helpful.

  27. Anonymous-
I live in the Twin Cities area. I usually shop at the Southdale J Crew. Can you speak to any differences between MOA and there? The Southdale store had NO final sale items on the floor when I was there last week. Just curious.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Appgal, IMHO whether to get a shelf bra depends on what your boobs look like. I like having a tank for layering, especially so I don't get a muffin top (at least an exposed one) at the waistband.

At at first I got the shelf bra tanks. I am a full B/small C. I think the shelf bra tanks flatten my boobs unattractively. The straps of the favorite tanks are broad enough that I can usually wear a bra under them without it showing. I think if your boobs are any bigger than a small C, the shelf bra wouldn't fit anyway. If you are an A or small B and always need a supportive bra for a "sculpted" look then you might be OK with just the shelf bra.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Ugh, my email was unclear . . . first, I forgot to say that I just buy the regular tanks and wear a bra under them.

Second, I mean't to say if you *don't* need a supportive bra then the shelf tanks are OK.

One more thing on fit--my torso is small enough that if I want a really snug fit in a tank then I need an XS, but they are slim in the hips so it just wound up rolling up over my waist.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Cristin - Walnut Creek is hit or miss, definitely. If you can, you should try Pleasanton. The service is consistent all of the time. The staff there is wonderful. I have seen them greet everyone the same exuberant way. I'm convinced they have excellent mgt.

FFM -- I'm going to post a photo of ON's version of the Belle in about an hour.

  31. JaneK. I have been told by some SA's (not all) that the MOA store caters more to the traveler/site seer--in what they stock. Also, when I was there in early Aug. the sale section was there but pretty small as it combined men's and women's when it used to be seperate. The MOA store now has jewelry and Crewcuts and I was told by Aaron that they have more Crewcuts than Southdale now.

The St. Paul store is really small and like a boutique. I used to go there too. I liked it and usually found one or two sale items and got super service but then again all seem to have pretty good service in the Twin Cities area.

I don't know if I am really answering your question...but if not, please ask again:)

I also really like Courtney at the MOA store:)

  32. gigiofca: Great minds really do think alike! ;) I was going to post a picture of the ON skirt later this morning after my husband finished using the home computer, but now I won't worry about it since you're going to...THANKS!!!!! You ROCK! :)

  33. Here's the report on my trip to the B&M (long)

Not getting the 20% off PS purchases coupon in the e-mail: zero out of 5
Calling jcrew.com to request a PS appointment (*before* the coupon went out) and never getting a return call: 0/5
Calling the store and getting a friendly SA to make PS appointment: 5/5
    Traffic, ugh: 0/5
Store selection 3/5. From what I heard here, I'd expected to see a lot more in the store. They had quite a lot of basics--tons of chinos and matchstick cords in every color and size, but not a lot of the more interesting stuff.
Service: 5/5. The SA was very nice (the regular PS was on vacation), nice balance of attentiveness and space.
Red Phone service: 4.5 out of 5 (I was on hold for a while). Red Phone honored my PS 20% on catalog-only items and waived shipping.

So, I was happy to get some good service for a change, especially given that I had a lousy week on line. A new fall T-shirt (in-stock) that I ordered ten days ago has not shipped yet, and J.Crew has not bothered to tell me that the Martine order was cancelled--I know only because I called.

As a 95% on-line customer, I am still irked that I had access to these benefits only because I was able to come in to the B&M. I'm also irked that I never received the 20% PS e-mail. (This morning, I received the 30% off FS e-mail that others got three days ago.) I have asked J.Crew repeatedly why it treats its on-line customers so much worse than store customers and have never received a substantive answer.

So, this is what I got:
    1. Super 120s suiting dress in violet. Even though the catalog said web/catalog only, they had a couple in black in the store. I'm glad I had a chance to try it on, as 6R was very large in torso on me. I ordered 6P.
    2. Wool suiting gab dress in black. It appears based on the horizontally tucked waistband that this is the same cut as the sleeveless super 120s, which was a bad fit for me in P so I ordered a 6R and will have it tailored.
    3. High heel flare jean. I realized after my purchase that the store had the $118 version rather than the darker $98. I may exchange. They're very comfortable and stretchy but they do grab a little in the thighs.
    4. Dream tie sweater. Store did not get eggplant so I had to order. I had to get an XS as the S was not tight enough to tie snugly.
    5. Tanks for layering in eggplant and black.
    6. Rosette belt. Yes, I should be ashamed as I could make this with a glue gun, but it was so cute.

    I did not get:
    1. Matchstick cords. I really need a new pair of brown cords but these cut me in the wrong place and Mr.Hex would be saying "It's the *best part of the muffin" all day.
    2. Slim strech shirt. They had a nice dark green but I didn't love it.
    3. Astrid (?) jacket: the frill is unfinished and will fray and look like crap in about two wearings. Also was a layered chiffon dress with similar unfinished edges. Very bad idea IMHO.
    4. Quincy purse. I need a new bag and this price was good but I didn't like colors.
    5. Small leather goods--lots of cute stuff in peacock and azalea. I didn't need but might be nice for gifts.
    6. Denim and cord trouser skirts. Highwaisted denim pencil skirt wasn't available. The others were too bulky.
    7. Fleur heels. I wanted to Red Phone but decided to wait.

So, now I need to cool it for a while. I've picked up several J.Crew wool suiting dresses on ebay lately so I think I'm quite set for professional attire. I would really like to see some sweater jackets like Jacinda or last year's Alice in better colors, so that's what I'll be looking for in the next collection.

IIRC, last year they ran a private sale for on-line in October and I think I've exhausted my clothes spending until then.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Also, I really wanted a chocolate tartine ("chocolate tartine, yummmm," said in Homer Simpson voice) but the ruffles were too subtle. I have long hair so unless I were wearing it up the ruffles would be entirely lost.

    ReplyDelete
  35. janek & anon: I am also in the Twin Cities, and frequent the Southdale and MOA stores. I unfortunately have always felt snubbed at the Southdale store. I think what you wear matters a LOT in this store - if I am in jeans and a tank, I get looks like I am trailer trash, where as if I stop there after work in a JCrew suit (that I paid full price for!!), I get a tad better service. All in all though, it doesn't seem genuine there. I guess I don't have what it takes to fit in in upscale Edina.

PS I have been shopping there for years and my perception has never changed. Whether I was an 17 year old with no money, overweight with pimples, or now a successful professional in great shape with class and money to spend, I have always felt that they are rude, stuck up, and pretentious.

I do however love the St Paul store. The boutique type feel means they don't always have everything in stock there, but I have always felt that they provide good friendly service. Definitely not stuck up like Southdale.

  36. Hi AppGal! I am a big fan of the Flowy Jersey Bateau Dress. I think you would like them as well, especially for $30. :)

I also really like their tanks- they are good quality and long (which I really like!) I don't think you need to get one with a shelf bra- I actually prefer J.Crew's tanks to not come with those. (Whereas I prefer shelf bras in Gap's tanks).

    ReplyDelete
  37. I posted the Old Navy High Waist Skirt. I purchased mine a couple few weeks ago for $15 + 20% off that with STUFFANDSAVE. I saw it in a store, not online.

appgal - I have broader shoulders, though not from sports so mine may not be *that* brought. But like hex, I am a big B/small C and I love this dress. I am usually a S and purchased a M in the slate. Aficionadas have said that it runs big, but imo that depends on how you want it to fit. The dress is supposed to flow and not be fitted. If you decide to get it, you can offset the shoulder aspect by wearing a long necklace. That should draw the eye downward. Just tried mine on again last nite as I was cleaning my closet and I adore it all over again.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sorry if I was unclear. I dont like the Jcrew tanks because of where the straps fall (even on the favorite wider tanks). I always feel like the complete strap to my bra is exposed and I have to wear a bra as a 32DD, it is never optional! I also find the jcrew tanks run small

  39. Does anyone have the Corinne Jacket? Just wondering what the thoughts are on this sweater coat. Thought about getting it for my sis for Xmas - there are a few on ebay. She likes yellow which is what is available. Thanks!

    Sorry for the OT post.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Jcrewbug:

I have the Corinne sweater jacket in both navy and yellow and I like them both a lot. The yellow is a bit bright though and the fabric is not as nice as I had expected. I thought it would be more substantial/thicker like the paley jacket or piazza, but it's a bit more flimsy. Other than that, the style is cute and I hope to start wearing it once the weather cools down. Hope this helps!

    ReplyDelete
  41. gigiofca: great idea. I'm terrible with accessorizing, but that seems simple enough :)

Alexis: Thanks for the input on the dress. It's showing up online for 59.99...where are you getting $30 from? Is this from the 40% off in store? What if I'm 2 hours away from a store :(

    ReplyDelete
  42. Appgal: If you call into CS they can honor the 40% off. Or you can call the store and have them send it to you.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Appgal, if you are two hours away from a store J.Crew does not give a $#%# about your ability to get a store match! To them we are two separate groups of customers not deserving of the same level of service and same bargains. (Never mind that J.Crew is one company.)

OK, that was a little strong . . . can you tell I'm bitter? :-) If you call two or three CSRs and can name a specific store at which the item is on sale, then if the CSR had her tasty Frappucino then she may call the store to confirm the price and match it for you. I spent a morning doing this exact little dance last week.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Appgal: I agree with hexicon...it's been really hard to get a price match lately. It wasn't as bad earlier in the summer. If you're lucky, you'll get a nice CS who will be willing to call and check the price for you. It has taken a lot of my energy lately to get that price match. I was even at a red phone in the store, and the CS over the phone almost seemed annoyed when I asked her for the price match...But other people have had better experiences, so good luck! Let us know if you get it!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hexicon & anon: Yeah it seems like a lot of energy, but it may be worth it. You would think they'd care more about people who are TRYING to spend money even though they can't come to a store. Last week there was a comment posted by...I think it was FFM(?) who said that they should offer free shipping for those who live far away...I totally agree. But I guess that is wishful thinking, eh?

btw...I went to Old Navy today to check out their cardigans. They have some really cute ones, but I wasn't impressed with the ruffle cardigan that was mentioned in the post yesterday. The collar is all floppy and it is a lot smaller fitting than it should be. A different style cardigan in the same size was almost falling off me while this one I could hardly get my arms into.

  46. Just a quick note to let y'all know that the B&M at Northpark Center in Dallas, TX has the wool herringbone Fiona on sale now for $148. I went in yesterday and got a price adjustment on mine.

The only reason I knew it was on sale is because I called. There was no sign anywhere in the store indicating it was on sale, and when I went in store to get the adjustment, half the employees didn't know what I was talking about. Seriously, why the secret sale?? Do they only want people who would buy the Fiona at full price to have it?

  47. A bit OT but as this is the most current topic, can someone help me out? I would really like to get the sea glass piper tank in sz 8 is it sold out in all stores? I can't seem to get my size online... also does this top fit tts? TIA!!!

  48. Hi, I posted earlier about the MN stores. I have never felt snubbed at the Edina store and I shopped there for 3 year or so......Also, I don't dress up to shop. I go in with my daughter in jeans and a tee or sweater and Birks or knock off Uggs....I have always been treated well there. I always head to the sale section too...I guess people know me and I chat with them and have a good time....

    ReplyDelete
  49. Gigiofca, Can you *please* keep shopping? I think it is so cool that you bother to take pictures of these things for all of us! I would never have known about the BR bag and though I have read about the ON skirt, would never have purchased without seeing it first (I dont live anywhere near the B&Ms). Thanks for being our undercover aficionada! Julie

  50. Anony. at 1:16. I have been trying for weeks? a month to get the sea glass piper tank in an 8 as well. I ordered it the first day within minutes that it went on sale online as well as three orders all cancelled b/c of stock but it showed low stock each time...I just tried again today and the order is placed again but we shall see......I am stalking it too....I have tried calling stores and had a MN person call several for me but no luck. All stock had been sent back....may the best gal win:) hee hee

  52. I have a question that I'M SURE one of you can answer for me. I am waiting on a piece of jewelry from a partial shipment from early this month. The other items in that shipment came right away, but I'm still waiting on the jewelry. Is this typical? I don't remember this happening last fall.
Also, when you check a recently placed order status and it says "released", what does this mean?
They need a glossary next to their order checking tables.
    Thanks for any info.!

I have always had good service at the Edina store. I will have to check out St. Paul. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  53. janek---I hope you like the St. Paul store:) My daughter used to sit and color in a little section they had there while I shopped and I didn't worry about her. Also, they used to have little chalk boards with your name for your dressing room b/c they are smaller and can do that! Kinda fun.

Also, if you don't find something the first time do give it a second chance. Also, you can park in the parking garage free...they will stamp your ticket if you buy something:)

  54. Another OT shopping qn: Does anyone know if there is a huge difference between the regular and petite sizes for suiting? I find myself wanting to buy the super 120s pinstripe set in regular, even though I'm 5'2". Am I setting myself up for alteration hell? tia

  56. Re tank/bra issues (a little OT), I was just down for a walk on the waterfront and I think someone needs to set up a bra consulting service for some of the female joggers--I don't know how these women can be comfortable. There are good sports bras out there!

Re fit of suiting for petites for Anon at 1:55, I think it depends on your proportions. I am 5'4" so regular sizes are always too long in the legs and arms, but sometimes petites are not right either. In pants, for example, the rise is wrong in petite, so I'm better off getting regular and hemming them. A petite also fits me better in most dresses, but not all of them (for example, waist was too high in super 120s sleeveless), and most jackets. I regret getting a petite in the Lady Day coat as the cut is just too small in the shoulders.

J.Crew says to go up a size in petites but I think it really depends on the item. I guess "it depends" isn't that helpful of an answer. If your fit issues are really the length of your arms and legs rather than the proportions of your torso you might be OK buying regular and altering.

I have to go now--Mr. Hex is at a meeting all day and the new InStyle just arrived! I will be on the deck all afternoon. Happy Saturday everyone!

  57. Just a special mention to Grace at the NYC Rockefeller store. Always so nice & helpful. Also to a petite Asian guy w/ Mohawk at the Soho store. Sorry, I don't know your name but your energy & enthusiasm is always delightful. While on vacation to San Fran this week, the staff at the Market St. branch also rock. You're doing a great job, guys, keep it up!

  58. Just thought I'd report back from my trip this morning. First, my regular sa was super friendly even though I didn't have on one stitch of JC. When I told him I was coming in to p/u my penelope flats and that, while I wanted to try on, I probably couldn't buy anything - HE mentioned the 20% off. So, I tried on the following:

new Elizabeth halter - LOVE this, but couldn't buy everything. I will definitely be getting this when it goes on sale.

Jackie cardigan - love this over the Elizabeth. And, sa said that's a very popular look right now. They only had 1 in my size, though, so when I decide to buy it, I'll have to red phone.

matchstick cords - first time to try on matchstick and I liked them. My sa is very honest and he liked the whole outfit (these plus the previous items). I had navy cords, navy Elizabeth, and a purplish blue Jackie (only one in my size).

denim pencil skirt - tried this on before and it felt big. Tried on again today in a smaller size and I LOVED it and bought it.

favorite fit chinos - have several pair of these, but agree with others that the new fit has a fuller leg. That doesn't bother me as I like a wide leg, but some don't like the new leg.

penelope flats - I had already paid for these, but my sa took them to the dressing room. I tried them on with each outfit, and by the time I was done (15 minutes), the top of my foot hurt. All female sa's agreed that JC's ballet flats are not comfortable. So, I returned them. If they still have my size and get marked down to under $50, then I'll get them again. I can't spend that much $ on an item that I can't wear to school. If I had a desk job, they'd be fine, but I'm on my feet almost all day.

mocassins - I will be stalking ebay for these in my size as I love them. I walked around in them for quite a while and had no pain. So, if I can get them on ebay or on sale at JC (which rarely happens), I will own them.

Once again, I forgot to try on the dream tie cardigan!!! I remembered as I was driving away. I didn't even see it, so they may not have any left.

All the new merchandise will be in store next Friday, so I may go down next Saturday. That will depend on how I feel after my first week back at school.

Sorry for the long post. Oh, one more thing, I was told that I couldn't use the 15% off with the PS 20%, but that I could use it with the extra 40%. Oh, and the JC cc's 10% CAN be used with the PS 20%. Don't understand, but that's what they said.

    ReplyDelete
  59. One more thing I wanted to mention about the PS 20% off. The email says it is to be used on $100, but all I bought was the pencil skirt. No problem with getting the extra.

  61. So I'm bad with staying on topic but I was wondering who else has received their eggplant dream ties and what everyone is thinking about them. I ordered one in a Small and it's huge, I think I may try the XSmall. The color is nice but I also might exchange it for the navy instead.

    ReplyDelete
  62. jcrewbug: I have the Navy Dream Tie in XS and LOVE it! The Small is too big on me at the waist where it needs to be fitted to look right *IMO*, and the waist of the XS is just right. :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. FFM: Yes I noticed even if I tie the small completely it's still not fitting right. So now the question is eggplant or navy. Do you know if I can exchange in the store without the receipt? I can't seem to find my packing slip. My store has navy so that would be the easiest. I'd have to reorder eggplant.

    ReplyDelete
  64. jcrewbug: You should be able to do an exchange in the store for the Navy with no problem. :)

    ReplyDelete
  65. jcrewbug: Like FFM said, you shouldn't have a probem with the return. You can also print out your order confirm # and the SA in the store can look it up for you too.

I have the xs dream tie in navy and light grey and I LOVE them. It's super comfy and very cute. I'll prob. buy the other colors when they go on sale.

As for the j.crew fav tanks. I have a problem with them shrinking after one wash. I also think the ones with the shelf bra tend to be more tight. I have the gap tanks in XS and I find that they stay true to size after washing.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I haven't had any issues with JCrew tanks shrinking and I own many...I wash them in cold and line dry all my stuff b/c it lasts longer that way:) The only thing I dry is sheets, towels, etc. I know I am "crazy" but my clothes look nicer longer and I am picky plus it helps the earth! My husband even commented that after 15 years of marriage his clothes look nicer and last longer as well. Don't come to my house on wash day though....the drying racks are out in full force! I know I am not the only person who does this...after I have told others I have found a few others who do as well:)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hey anonymous at 3:51. I am all about the hang dry too. It cause me to iron more, but the clothing definitely lasts longer and looks better.

I even machine wash dry clean only clothes (cotton pants from J.Crew) and again I think cold water and hanging dry are the key.

I have three dryer racks, two for laying clothes out and one for hanging on plastic hangers.

  68. Oh, I meant to mention earlier about my trip to ON...They have these cashmere polos that are apparently 100% cashmere that feel great for only $40...how in the world are they so cheap?!?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Anonymous at 1:55pm- regarding the suits- you should try on both regular and petite and see which fits best. the best thing is that you can mix and match so you might be a regular on bottom and petite on top or vice versa. I normally wear a 6 but since I am 5'4', I can wear petites as well. So I ordered the 8P as well and tried on all the sizes. I ended up with both the jacket and pants in 8p and I loved it because I had to do NO alterations! It depends on your shoes too. I found with the petite, I could not wear a high heel but I was able to find a medium heel that looked great with the suit.

PS: I'm with the rest of you... I line dry all my "good" clothes too! Even my favorite jeans I line dry.

  70. OT, blumre: I just noticed that we are the same size chest wise, :). I'd love your opinion of the hammered silk tank, if you've tried it? I'm wondering if it is fitted in the waist at all? Can't tell from the photos. I'm afraid I will look pregnant, as I do in most of their boxy tanks that have no shape. I would wear it as a layering piece 'though.

One real complaint I have with a lot of their tops is, length. If you have a larger chest at all by the time it fits over that area there is no length left for a very flattering look. I even had that problem with the cambridge cable sweaters last year :(

  71. One more thing I tried on that my sa said was selling well, the Juliet safari patent-leather midheels. They were NOT comfortable. At all. I don't know how women are wearing these and walking or standing for any amount of time. They didn't have any of the other Juliet heels, so maybe those are more comfortable? Btw, he knew I was going to think they were uncomfortable before I tried them on. So women are buying them in spite, I guess.

  72. I hate J.Crew (in real life) however, on line and on the phone is always a GREAT experience!!!
I always seem to get what I need and quickly.

I live in California where Orange county and Los Angeles County meet. I have been to the BREA J.Crew tons of times and the service is ALWAYS the pits. I once was crazy enough to try to work there and the Manager was very welcoming and inviting...until he saw my brown face and got all flustered and changed all the hours that were needed as told to me over the phone (1 hour prior) when I was a "perfect fit" he snatched my application and turned his back to me.
Umm yeah, I left and did not return as a customer again. Oh! by the way I am not bitter at all ( I did not need the job just wanted something to do on vacation until Graduate school started again.
I actually started shopping at the new J.Crew in Manhattan Beach (Plaza El Segundo) and things are going okay..I still prefer online shopping to avoid these types of responses from the ignorant SA's that i have come across. Oh sorry he was the manager(doesn't that make it worse?)

Just a side note they eventually offered me an interview at a later date that was "awarded" to me after stopping in to question them about the application. I later found out the she was not actually "qualified" to interview or hire anyone. She was just a pawn used to placate me so the EOE wouldn't be on their behinds.

People the ignorance is real, and shopping or interviewing while brown is always a surprise....
Sorry J. Crew I love the clothing and everything about them except for the low paid, ignorant S.A's/managers they choose to represent the company.
I loove this blog!! Great job! I have told all my friends about it!!

  75. OT, here is my review of 2 pieces I just received:

hammered silk tank: the fabric is lovely, but the side zipper is very stiff and goes all the way up the side of the tank. It pokes me in the underarm! It's going back. Don't feel too bad about it b/c even with 15% discount was not a great price for a tank, esp. when some of their sale silk tanks are marked down to $20-$30.

vintage cord skirt: ordered the rhubarb, like it a lot. It has a low rise so it sits nicely on my hips without bulking up my midsection. Fabric is soft but substantial; also thought price was reasonable.

I have 2 more orders on the way--will review next week!

  76. hadasssah1777,

Sorry you had to deal with a dolt of a manager. However, there are many minority employees of all different ethnicities in the j.crews near me. Perhaps you got a bad apple.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hexicon - my local b&ms have only had stock items like chinos and cords. Guess the new shipment will impress in a couple of weeks. The Super 120s dress is beautiful in violet! Yeah, we could really have an online glue gun party making Rosette belts. We're having date nite @ B&N so I'll be looking for In Style. Yum!

Appgal & everyone -- I don't know what to say about the red phone and 40% off. Yesterday the CS insisted on speaking with a store employee to get the store number and an employee number for verification. Today I asked if the 40% final sale can be applied and the CS said, 'sure, what store do you go to.' I didn't have to prove that I was in the store. Based on my conversations it seems they can't see on their phone if you're calling from in-store. On my Friday conversation she could hear the background noise and today's rep didn't care if I was in the store or not, although I ended up in one during our conversation just in case she wanted to talk to them.

Anonymous @ 1:34 PM/Julie - Yes, I am definitely going to keep posting photos. My chiro and other appointments I have are near BR, J Crew, Macy's and Nordstrom. I am always in the stores poking around. :-)

appgal - I think the Crew tanks run tts, however, if you are ample, you may want to size up so the ribbing runs up and down and doesn't look stretched out. Dunno about the shelf bras. Hope mine fit when I get them in the mail. Interesting on the ON cashmere polo. I'll have to look for that. They had low price cashmere last Christmas. I wasn't impressed, but maybe in a polo it could be fun.

Anon/Tia - I go up in petites. If I get a regular size, I get 4. If I get petites I get 6P. This has always worked for me.

math teacher - Great review! I love the matchstick cords also. I've noticed that some of the shoes have a man made sole. That is definitely a factor in uncomfortability.

hadasssah1777 - Sorry to hear about your Brea experience :(

  79. I really enjoy the newest incarnation of the Favorite tank. I bought some last year that were a slightly heavier-weight fabric, but also braless. These are lighter, almost tissue weight. I am a 32D and turning 40 this year, so size, age and childbearing require that I wear a bra. A shelf bra does not do enough for me that looks attractive. I have found two brands of strapless bra that I love, and I have worn strapless bras most of the summer to accomodate tanks, piper tanks, pleated silky jersey tops, etc. The bra straps aren't an issue wearing the favorite tank under a cardi or a jacket, so I wear a regular bra in those cases. I am petite, and I think the perfect tanks run true to size, which means they are always a bit long in the straps for me. Because of that, I size down if I need a more conservative neckline on the tank (say, for work.) The ribbed tanks tend to run very large on me, and I just cannot make them work for anything other than as pajama tops.

  80. gigiofca: the strange thing about the penelope is that it wasn't the sole that was uncomfortable. It was where the shoe cut into the top of my foot. I had a red imprint just from wearing them in the dressing room. And, since I'm on my feet almost all day, they're swollen by the end of the day. So, I know these would be killing me by then. They were hurting slightly today, so back they went.

  81. Okay, this is totally O/T, but I just had the best CS experience ever. And of course it wasn't at J.Crew. I was at Nordstroms today and fell in love with the Cole Haan Air Parker Moc, which they had for $175. That was just too pricey for me, so I ogled it and convinced myself to move on. I got home and googled it, hoping to find it cheaper. Well ColeHaan.com had it for on sale $120, but not in the color I wanted. I called my local store and this great SA found it in their warehouse in my size and my color. She immediately offers free shipping. Then we find out its full price in the warehouse, without pausing she offers it for the online price AND she accepts the 20% off online orders coupon. Wow, look at consistency at work! It came to $95 after everything. Just like that! And she was fantastic and personable the whole time!

It was a very refreshing CS experience. It was my first time purchasing directly from Cole Haan, and I loved it.

  82. I've placed two orders over the weekend to take advantage of the end of the summer sale (get some of that lightweight cashmere that will last me all year). Well I got a few things for my dad for his birthday in cashmere and a sweater and tee for me. I had wonderful experiences both times. They honored the 30%, the student discount, and my free shipping codes. Which actually made me add an additional sweater for both me and my dad :) Thanks J Crew!

    ReplyDelete
  83. If an employee or anyone else is reading - do you think offering and combining incentives will help J Crew or hinder profits?? Just curious what the thinking is. I imagine it helps because the merchandise is probably way inflated over actual costs. You sell more but for a little less. Well as long as you are combining I'm buying :) And more, and more, and more. haha.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Hi Traci: sorry I was gone all day. I dont wear Jcrew tank tops period! That includes even the nice ones. A shell is fine but the silk tanks and stuff dont work for me. I detest strapless bras and I like my tank top straps to at least line up with my bra straps if not cover them. I dress pretty conservatively and I always think it is really tacky to show off your pra straps as kind of an extra strap... Just my opinion. So I didn't try on the tank because of where the straps fall.

However, as a fellow 32DDer I bet you would love the olivia. Its not too love and it hugs your waist at just the right hieght. I would go for an XS if I were you though they run big!

Laurie Berkner (who I can not stand, personally, but most mothers will know her) is wearing that absolutely adorable J Crew dress from early this year on her new album cover. You know, the sweater one that was kind of divided diagonally between orange and yellow with wild flowers. I think it's name started with an "f". Saw it in some magazine. This might be the first time I have smiled in relation to Ms. Berkner, ever. In the words of the charming book Three Martini Playdate, "children's music, why?"

AppGal: Sorry about my response's lateness. The flowy bateau jersey dress is about $32 at J.Crew stores (after the 40% & student discount). Like Blumre suggested, if you call it in, perhaps a customer service person would honor the store price. :)

hadasssah1777: OH MY GOSH!!! I went to the Brea J.Crew and thought the same thing about the service there! I was actually offended by the treatment I received. First, I was dressed for the store- so no need for the snotty attitude of "you don't belong here". Second, I had a whole bunch of t-shirts (on sale) in my hand. I was also trying on the Astrid (that berry jacket). After I asked to try on the clothes in a room, the SA took only the Astrid item out of my hand (mind you I had 8 sale t-shirts as well that she didn't touch) and put the Astrid in a changing room. Then she eyed me (well, the jacket) the entire time! I was so uncomfortable at that J.Crew. Also, the image on this post is from the BREA JCrew that I took while I was there. :)

  94. P.S. I was in the Greenwich CT store today. They have lots on sale still. The Linen Jackets, Jean Jackets, Tons of Ts, AA few skirts and shorts, lots of solid piper and amelia tanks, there was also an xs flamenco dot sweater in yellow.

The mens sale was pretty depleated.

The service there was UNBELIEVABLE. I mean so nice. I had to return a ton and they we so accomadaint and nice... they looked at me in utter sympathetic shock when I brought in three pairs of mislabeled size chinos. Apparently individual stores are losing $ because of the system problems and the system's in ability to connect.

I will be going to the West Farms Mall store tomorrow and Aly, I will be sure to provide an update on that one too... I hope they have lots of pretty colors for the Olivia tank in XS for me to choose from.

  98. blumre: Wow! That's a great deal. My fiance doesn't do much other than t shirts and polos. I can't get him into sweater vests. He won't do cords either. Drives me crazy cause I think he would be so cute all geared up in J Crew garb.

  99. blumre: What is it about sweater vests? I think they look delicious on guys, but every guy I talk to always goes "GROSS! NO!" every time I mention it. :)

  100. argyle: YEEEEEEEES. I love argyle too! I think it's so adorable. Have you noticed how argyle not done well looks so incredibly tacky though?

  101. blumre: Sorry to hear abour your chinos mishap, what style were they, Favorite Fit, Ellie?

I want to order some, but I will stay away from the style you had ordered.

  102. Jenn Brak: we don't have any Laurie albums, but sometimes she is on TV (Noggin, my kids are very young). Every time my husband sees her he says "do you think she thought she was going to end up singing kids songs?" Actually, she says this about all the singers they feature. He thinks they wanted to be rock stars but weren't good enough, and fell into singing for kids.

To Haddasssah: I didn't know if I should comment on your situation or not, because I don't have anything helpful to say. It really stinks that you were mistreated, but you know that. I don't know how you will feel about this, but I found your story interesting (I find stories and info. about race to be interesting, I don't know why).

To Alexis: how about a post where we can post things that are on the website but not showing in the sale section. (sale items.) Sometimes I just type things into the search bar and random things pop up, sometimes good deals. I know other people do this too. I don't know if it's stuff that they just haven't gotten around to adding to the sale section yet or what.

  105. The only store where I've had a negative experience is Liberty Place in downtown Philadelphia. The sales reps couldn't be bothered with helping you, even when you ask. They even give you attitude!! Being that this one is the closest Jcrew to me, I now almost soley shop online.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Hadassah, what a story. Hard to believe that kind of thing still happens in this day and age. And if J.Crew really is snooping on this blog I hope they read what you wrote!

  107. Melanie: MMiller seemed pretty excited about them. I explained how to wear them and he got the idea pretty fast and he seemed to like it. I always thought he was too slight to pull it off... but then I thought about it and realized... Nah he can do it!

Anon: They were Ellie-- but the Chinos are good. I did get one true size T4 and I LOVE THEM. I can't wait to wear them! They Ellies are a really great boot-cut pant. Its just a system glitch. I am hoping to recieve two true size 4s on Monday or Tuesday! You should still get them... they favorite fit for this season is so boxy and in my opinion badly made.

  108. My theory on J Crew service:

If the store is in a high theft/shoplifting area, the service gets snottier and worse. I think everyone becomes a 'suspect'. It's sad.

  109. Melanie and Blumre: I have two sweater vests form J.Crew and find they work very well, both for work and casual. The key for me is getting the right shirt to wear with them. Ten years ago I wore a vest with a white t-shirt, now that I'm older I wear either a polo shirt or oxford shirt.

I have a couple of the suit vest as well and they are favorites. One in chocolate cord and the other in navy wool pinstripe. Both from J.Crew as well.

  110. So, I tried to see if I could have my student discount retroactively applied to a few past orders, and e-mailed customer service based on suggestion from j.crew employee. This was response:

"Your inquiry is important to us and we sincerely apologize for the delay
    in responding to your email.

We have reviewed your orders and found that the merchandise for which
you have requested an additional adjustment is already discounted. We
allow one discount per order, and these orders have already received a
discount. We regret any disappointment this may cause. We believe the
items you purchased are still a great deal at the sale prices offered.

We hope the above information will be of help. If we can be of further
assistance, please let us know by calling a J.Crew Associate at
    1-800-562-0258."

I am not going to make a big deal about it b/c I just figured I'd try and see what happened, but that was the response. Not sure how other people manage to get the multiple discounts? I wonder if they look at how much you purchase in a year and decide that way, or if they will be more accommodating if you have had problems/issues with prior orders.

    ReplyDelete
  111. cass, thanks a lot for sharing this, I also emailed them about getting a student discount applied to 2 recent orders, I suspect I might get a similar response.

Regarding the multiple discounts, I think it might have something to do with phoning in vs. website ordering. I managed to get my student discount applied to my phone orders (along with free shipping etc). However, I also had 3 items cancel on me with the phone orders...I somehow got a feeling that it just wasn't as 'quick' through the phone and I didn't get my spot fast enough (if that makes any sense). I don't know though, I'm not sure if my website orders placed this weekend will actually arrive... They sure as heck better not charge me if they don't ship.

  112. Sunday I walked into the J.Crew store in Clinton Township, Michigan, wearing a J.Crew slub tunic and J.Crew chino shorts. The store was barely busy. Absolutely no one greeted me or asked if I needed help; on the way out the two SA's at the accessories area ignored me as they continued the same personal conversation they were having as I walked in. I actually sent an e-mail to J.crew headquarters about this experience.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Hi everyone! I work for JCrew and just wanted to let everyone who is having problems combining discounts that we just don't do it.

If you have the teacher/student discount, it can't be combined with a mall discount. It's one or the other. The discounts should apply to any sale items though. You can purchase something for an additional 30% off and still expect to get your student discount at the end of the sale. Also, they don't do the teachers/student discount on-line yet. They're trying to solve that problem.

An email is not required for a teacher/student discount. Any sales person that is giving you a hard time about not wanting to give up your email is just not right. I never hound my customers for personal information. I understand privacy issues.

As far as people judging how they are going to treat you based on how you look? I've worked retail for a long time and have been a consumer for a long time. Sadly, no matter where you go, there is always going to be someone who does this. It doesn't matter who you hire, there is always a bad one in the bunch. I've been followed around a store because I was a bit grubby one day. I guess I looked like a shoplifter! I brushed it off and decided to spend my money elsewhere. That elsewhere just happened to be a JCrew store. How ironic.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I find the SA's at J.Crew to be very judgemental. I notice how they ignore anyone who has one or two items in their hand, but if it's someone who is buying a ton of clothes they treat them like royalty. The other day I was shopping for some clothes and taking my time. Everyone ignored me at first and when I asked a question you could tell they didn't want to be bothered. Once I had a few pairs of shorts in my hand and a couple shirts all the sudden everyone wanted to assist me. that realllly bothered me because it shows they don't care abotu the customer, they jus care about how much money you spend so I left.

  115. also, the employee who began this post. really? you had nothing better to do?
