Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the FALL sale, or to see some new FALL/WINTER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  5. I'll drop in to my store this weekend since I have some returns to make and might not have another chance to go before Thanksgiving. I'm actually exited now since I got some amazing deals on sale items in my last two visits.

    1. Was just going to say the same thing. Almost doubled in size sale section. Plus NO MORE Final Sale! Woohoo! I am almost ashamed of how much I spent this morning but so many pop-backs. My head almost exploded.

  7. Thanks, ladies, for the tip about the sale section update - I'm about to check it out!

Fortunately for me it looks like all of the new arrivals I want I've already purchased with the exception of the ribbon bow dress which I'm first seeing today and will likely wait for sale. Picked up the grey heartbreaker sweater in-store earlier this week - didn't need another cutesy sweater in a blend but it's adorable and I needed to add another item to my purchase to reach $150 for the 25% discount - and I received the Collection tweed coat dress yesterday which is so outrageously priced I can't believe I ordered it even with 25% off, but it is so amazing there is no way I would ever return it. It fits me just like it does on the model in the online photo (I was nervous as it appears quite large on the hanger) and is very flattering despite the thickness of the fabric - and I'm always chilly so this will be a gem on those really cold New York winter days. I so badly wanted to wear it today - of course it arrives right as the weather starts hitting the 50s and 60s again! I have to admit this purchase was directly inspired by the fact that I was without power all last week in a freezing apartment, so the moment the power was restored and I regained internet access, I saw it and thought, "Is it a coat? Is it a dress? It's brilliant, it will keep me warm, and I must have it." It was a good call I have to say.

  9. I better not! I went a little crazy yesterday and today, scooping up the perfect shirt in green gingham, the luxe utility pants, the herringbone schoolboy, the neon boy shirt, the no. 2 in spicy gold, the hacking jacket in sheer mint, and a pair of tights.

    I have no self control.

  10. Extra 30% off sale at my B & M (Grand Rapids, MI)!

  11. Extra 30% off sale for Veteran's Day at Pentagon City too! So it must be a nationwide thing? I might try two more this weekend since they're near where I need to go.

They had a few silk hen shirts left, some no. 2 pencil skirts (most yellow and blue), lots of tees, some schoolboy blazers, and a couple of other things. Lots of flats though. HTH!

  12. If anyone sees a zigzag sequin tee in the natural/gray pattern, in size XS, would you please, please let me know?! I realize this is an old item, and I can't even do a WWFIFY, but a few stores still show a couple. In fact, one store had one in stock today, butit was on hold for someone else! I would LOVE to find one. Thanks, in advance, for your help!

  14. "25% off opensell bracelets," per my receipt for a medium enamel bracelet.

They're cheaper on promo online + OURTREAT for 25%.

  15. 30% off SALE items only in Park Meadows, CO store today but those items were Final Sale. I was able to score the French Hen shirt at $79.99 with the 30% off. No 25% over $150 promotion but not a real issue since the new arrivals will not be coming until Tuesday there. Plus, I already did 2 orders with that promo online and will do a quick online scout before it finishes tonight. Did try on the Jules dress in Turquoise at $49.99 with 30% off I wanted to love it but even though I am short at 5'1" when I raised my arms, yikes..no one wants to see that. Not much else but I did manage to score a December Style Guide. So I will be doing my November to December compare to try and figure out what maybe going on sale. Not a fine science but I was right on some items this month and managed to save some money.

  16. 25% off vests in store. There was no signage but I asked the SA if there was anythng "going on" today. I was able to also use my Educator Discount which brought my excursion vest down to $70.12. I'm pleased.

  17. I do not know what is wrong with me. I rarely go to B&Ms on weekends because of the crowds but I somehow ended up there today to make some returns that could have waited. I completely spaced out and forgot the date. Destiny USA (Syracuse, NY) was unbelievable. If you couldn't find someone in upstate NY, chances are that they were there.

Anyway, the B&M there was its usual underwhelming self. I have everything that I want of what's currently in store (at least what I was willing to pay full price -25% off for). I heard an SA say that new stuff is due out on Tuesday, so I might venture there that day. The sale section was meh. Much of the same stuff that's been there (Tippis for $49.99, Cafe capris in Retro Jade & Iced Lilac for $29.99) plus 30% off, making it final sale. Jewelry was also 25% off. Not sure if all jewelry was included.

I didn't buy anything but i think my store will be fine. Quite a few people in there.

  18. Is all the jewelry on sale? Or just out of case? Just wondering because I just ordered a bracelet. TIA!

    1. AD MD - Out of case bracelets were 25% off yesterday, no signage. The med enamel bracelet was $16.50, I believe. I ordered it online at $17.50 + 25% yesterday.
