DeleteOh my gosh,i still could double my promos!
ReplyDeleteI bought the wintress puffer on promo and could still apply the code MONDAY.
Yeay!
Well done! I keep missing the herringbone vest but I got the double promo last time on sweaters, got some cashmere turtlenecks for half price.
DeleteA review of the Collection graphic-print pant HERE.
ReplyDeleteReview of Booker midheels HERE. Also reviewed macalister wedges HERE.
ReplyDeleteThe Factory "black watch" tartan pant appears sold out on the website, but in case they pop back, I recommend them. Although the wool is a blend the pants have a nice smooth, light feel and don't seem pill-prone. I recommend sizing up as the cut isn't particularly generous and if you have trouble spots, particularly in the thighs as I do, the plaid will magnify them. These will be great with a Tippi and flats for a casual holiday feel; I also plan to dress them up with a sparkly sweater and red Valentinas for a couple of those "festive but not dressy" parties.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why JC called these "black watch," as everyone knows what the real Black Watch tartan looks like (black, green, and navy) and this ain't it. This tartan has red and yellow in addition to black and green. I love the Royal Stewart tartan (what we usually think of as Christmas plaid), but that would be a little too much for my thighs; this gives that holiday feel without quite so much red.
I second Hexicon's comment about sizing up in the factory plaid skimmer pants. I sized up to an 8 which I NEVER wear in pants, but it was the right decision. They are super cute! They still had them at my factory store last time I was there (this past weekend).
ReplyDeleteAll factory skimmers seem to fit smaller than the cafe capris. I take size 2 in cafe capris and 4 in skimmers.
DeleteI got a lot of things from these last few promos. First up, I got the Hutton wool flannel pants at a great price w/the promo ($63) I ordered them in a petite size since I'm 5'4". Loved the fit of them. They are very high waisted which is good for me b/c I am too. The length was perfect. BUT, they are not lined and the wool is super thin. Did not feel like a flannel wool type material at all. If they were lined, I would've kept them, but in the end, they just felt like suiting pants and I have those. I was hoping for something a little more substantial to wear w/sweaters, not blazers. Sadly, they are going back. Got the striped sweatshirt w/the ribbed sweater cuffs and collar. Really like it. It's short and fitted. I got a sz. Small and would say I'm (now) between a Sm. and Med. in JC tops. So I'd say TTS to slightly big. The collar is a bit bulky and warm, so it's mainly for colder weather. I'm on the fence about this one. It's really cute, but the neck is so bulky, it's a bit annoying. Probably could only catch this on popback or by calling around to stores. Also got a couple factory items. Ordered some graphic t-shirts and they've already been sent back. They're thin and too long. Bummed about that. The Factory Merino Tippis and turtlenecks are great. I can see practically no difference between the factory and retail versions and they're half the price. Those were keepers.
ReplyDeleteI just put up a review of the silk boyshirt in the hot pink/black windowpane design. Really loved it!

Has anyone tried the Stadium Cloth Duffle Coat?
ReplyDeleteHow did you find the sizing? What did you think of the colors. Thanks.
I received the golden paisley tunic (the cover-up). This one has been lingering for months in the sale section until they finally dropped the price to $29.99 and no fs (I had to stalk a bit but it popped back twice during the 30% off promo so I think it will popback again). I wouldn't have ordered it during fs because of the poly fabric but it turns out that it doesn't feel like poly at all (not like the H&M poly at least). It is gorgeous and long enough to really "cover-up" (it hits me mid-tighs). Also, while the color is called navy it reads black, so you can wear it with black bikinis/tanks. I ordered my usual XS and it fits TTS (it is slouchy but doesn't look big). I would recommend if you like this print and do't want to splurge on the Collection blouse (the print is a bit less stunning because there is less contrast with the background that is sheer but it is still beautiful). I like it so much that I could even attempt to wear it as a regular tunic with a cami.
ReplyDeleteOT: Does anyone know if the heather burgundy color Tippi is on sale in store? Cannot find this color Tippi online so I'm guessing it is sold out.
ReplyDeleteAt the Tampa store on Friday it was full price still
DeleteThank you, Stacey! I'm going to my local store tomorrow; hopefully they have some left.
ReplyDeletePerhaps I'm just not a toothpick girl. I picked up the factory toothpick cord in vintage champagne at the store, 50% off. I wore them today with boots. After just 2 hours of walking around (not even sitting) the waist, hips and thighs are easily a size bigger than they were while the calves are still super tight. Kind of looked ridiculous all baggy with boots. I suppose they are mine now though...
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing the fabulous price on the Cashmere Two Tone Sweatshirt ($63) on ShopwithM, I tracked one down and sadly it was way too big on me. I ordered a Medium and I definitely need a Small. I'm returning it, but if someone here wants it for what I paid plus shipping, LMK. Just offering it up here b/c it's a lovely sweater at a fabulous price.
ReplyDeleteJust e-mailed you :)
DeleteI ordered the Lulufrost feather necklace just to try it but I have to say I really like it . It's long and will pair nicely with many of my sweaters. Only drawback is not being able to adjust the length.
ReplyDeleteI ordered it as well. I found it to be too big , funny chains and it hung weird... as you said you can't adjust it.
DeleteI ordered the charcoal classic mini in felted wool on promo and am really pleased. I know that lots of JCAs are crazy about the no. 2 pencil skirt, but they look awful on me; I need something above the knee. The mini with tights is perfect for winter.
ReplyDeleteIs the Liberty braid bracelet where unsold Liberty shirts go to die? Has anyone seen one?
ReplyDeleteReceived the flame floral jacquard dress. It's not shiny like most jacquard--it's a matte fabric but still really pretty. Unfortunately it's a very short dress. It hit me at mid-thigh and is just too short. Would be really cute on a petite gal.
ReplyDeleteMadewell dress review here and some silk blouses here
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that I am not the only one who had to size up in the Factory skimmers!! I thought it was just me...I was really bummed out for a minute- phew..!
ReplyDeleteReceived a couple of orders and here are my loves; Double Cloth Trench in Camel, ordered in P6 and it fits so well. It is definately lighter than the stadium cloth but I can fit a sweater underneath if I need to. Liberty Perfect Shirt in Fireworks, got this on sale with 30% off and it is absolutely beautiful in color, style and fit. I have three of the Tippi Cardigans and had to size down to XS, ordered a couple more and the XS seems a little tighter than before. Hoping it is the cardigan and not the packing on the holidays lbs. Returning the Mila dot-print ballet flats, I felt they ran big and just did not wow me.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone seen/tried on the Polka Dot Ponte Dress? I noticed it in the last roll out but haven't seen any reviews online yet.
