  1. Whoa - new arrivals today AND a new promo, this time a tiered promo of 25% off $150+ and 30% off $250+!

...But I am so shopped out at this point, I doubt I can take advantage of it. Black Friday sales really got me this time around!!

  2. These recent 25% & 30% off anything promos are fantastic! And no final sale right now, either! Well done, J. Crew!

  3. Great promo! I was swamped with family obligations last week and didn't have a chance to shop so I'm thrilled. Just placed an order and may place another after work.

  4. Had a wonderful experience getting a price adjustment. The double cloth slim trench was on sale last week for $269.99 for regular and petite but tall was only $239.99. I purchased with 30% off in petite and love, love the coat. But this morning, the regular and petite which BTW use less material than the tall was also at $239.99. So I called and got a price adjustment of $21.94. Thanks to Lauren (PSA) I spoke to, she was pleasant and even said that all these promotions are CRAZY to keep up with.

  5. Hi all - this is a bit off topic but I know that many of us rave about how much we love our VPSs. Is is proper to give them a gift this time of year? If so, any ideas on what to give?

  6. In a fit of pique I wrote to CS regarding the nonfunctional buttonholes on the men's blazers, sportcoats and suits. I received a prompt response explaining that the decision to offer nonfunctioning buttonholes was made so that altering the sleeve length would be a simpler fix for the customer. The CS further explained that the JCrew tailoring service, which is free to cardholders, would make buttonholes functional in any jacket or blazer for $15. I think this is a great solution as nonfunctioning buttonholes on sleeves are sure sign of poor workmanship and function almost always trumps nonfunction.
