"Thanks!" to Jeff (in post "Dulken and Derrick Flower Pins") and others (throughout the blog) who shared with us that the J.Crew website has been updated.

There are lots of new updates:
  1. New arrivals (& new layout) for men's & women's
  2. New arrivals (& new layout) for Weddings & Parties
  3. New arrivals (& new intro) for J.Crew Collection
  4. "Browse catalog" now includes November and November Mens
  5. The sale section has lots more additions (includes previous seasons too)
Are you excited that the website updated? Do you like or dislike the new look/ layout for the men's and women's sections? What items are your most excited about? :)

  1. I'm excited about a few of the pieces, and will be heading to my b&m after work to check it out! I'm interested in the Harriet coat (after the whole Dana disappointment, this one looks like it might be better), the Quinn cami, Issy sweater jacket, and the Wool le Tout shift dress.

  2. There are a couple of pieces I want to get...one of which is already sold out: *The Maggie*...it must have happened from pre-orders. Hopefully they'll make more. :) If not, something else will come along.

  3. The woman in that photo looks VERY angry!

  4. Maybe the sweater is itchy...

  5. i'm not digging the colors so much this season. maybe that's a good thing! i was all set to buy a couple jackies in regal purple and kelly green but now they're gone and replaced with the new shades. hopefully they come back on sale! guess it's my fault for waiting too long. i like the merino turtleneck and the button-cuff cardi, but that's really about it for me this time.

  6. I called J Crew this morning and placed myself on the waiting list for the Maggie jacket. It's imported from Japan and I believe they have not received their stock yet.

  7. melissa, Yes, the colors are just not doing it for me this year...I see things I like and then look at the color selection and there is nothing for my color tastes!

I realize Jenna likes orange and I believe yellows and pinks but I would like to see more subdued shades of color.

I still really like JCrew but some years/seasons more than others...

  8. I actually ordered from the sale section. Wool argyle v neck in pine and a merino v neck in deep plum. Yeah I know more v necks, but I love them.

I really like the wool chino in dark charcoal and the gallery boot. I can feel them showing up in the shopping cart soon.

  9. Question About J Crew Cashmere!!

I have only purchased J Crew once about 4 or 5 years ago, and I was not super impressed with its longevity, and I take pretty good care of my clothing. I love the styles and the colors this season, and I would like to buy a couple. I am OK with spending the money on a couple of sweaters, but only if they are worth the price. I would like other's feedback on the quality of the sweaters. I don't know if my old sweater was a fluke and/or if the quality has improved. Thoughts and comments are very much appreciated!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Also - the merino button cuffs are so cute...but look pretty transparent.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Am I overlooking the black skirt with the bow?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh wow they have the Kaleidoscope paisley button mini in final sale. That was one of my big scores last fall. I thought it had sold out, but I guess they must have found some more. Really cute skirt! Oooh and the lofty alpaca sweaters. Blasts from the past.

For the new items, I love the cashmere heirloom henley and the Large leather Thompson tote. I tried on the Pembridge-dot pencil skirt and liked it though I found it a bit stiff. The description is quite accurate -- the material is very light.

  13. Once again, I do not like how they are moving away from their preppy/collegiate niche and heading towards "luxe". At least they are keeping their cords and cable cardigans.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh, and I got this jacket from the sale: http://images.jcrew.com/erez4/cache/images_eiec_85_85795_85795_WB3529_tif_fda30a02020b1723.jpg

  15. I'm getting the shimmy dress and the wide crystal garden bracelet in metallic graphite. They aren't the most practical pieces but what can I say... I LOOOVE them. Beyond that, there's not too much that I have to have. I have my eye on the Wool le Tout dress but I think I can wait on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Also wanted to say *merci* for the coupon code for the 10% off - always nice to get a discount on new arrivals...

    ReplyDelete
  17. I called on Maggie and it is supposed to be available next month. It comes in Black, Camel, Yellow and Bright Berry. It might come in other shades, but I only caught the ones I was interested in. The style number is 99322.

    HTH

  18. OT, but Banana Republic has their sweaters and outerwear at 30% off. I purchased a couple of cute cashmere and merino sweaters this morning and was also able to use the code HOTJOBS for an additional 20%.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I ordered the victoria blouses in black and white, the le tout dress, the cloud necklace and the france tee from the new items. Not much else really moved me to purchase at full price. From the sale I ordered the suzzanah shirt, I had ALWAYS wanted that one. And I found an ivory and citron lexington :-)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Also regarding the quality of their cashmere, I do not think it is worth full price unless it has improved from last year. I would wait for a sale. Although it is very soft and lightweight, I think it pills faster than it ought.

    ReplyDelete
  21. kathystl,

I would recommend only buying JCrew cashmere onsale/end of season sales...otherwise,it is very soft and not itchy but it does pill rather quickly.

I have found Land's End Cashmere to be of better quality as it is double ply and I BELIEVE JCrew's is single ply.

That said, I like JCrew's colors but Land's End has some nice colors/styles out as well.

Also, Land's End items can be returned at any time for a full refund if not satified...I returned something that was over a year old and got a full refund b/c I never wore it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Caac--I do not see the bow skirt on the site--weird! I can post the item # when I get home.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Oh! of all days for my internet to be slow! The site will pull up just fine, but when I click on new arrivals, all i see are question marks :(

    ReplyDelete
  24. How do last yers vintage boot cut cord fit--true or big like this year?? Thansk!

    ReplyDelete
  25. covert5, I bought one pair of the cords last year and they fit true to size on me...I have not tried on this years...

    ReplyDelete
  26. I found last year's cords to fit TTS as well, but with cords in general, after a few wears they loosen up quite a bit, so I tend to size down when possible.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hey all!
I just posted on the "Will you visit JCrew this weekend?" post about a couple new arrival items I bought. Couldn't wait! I'll be heading to another local JCrew to check out more new arrivals, as they are a bigger store (sell Crewcuts and Mens). FFM, I rememeber you saying you liked the Victoria Ruffle shirt, and I have to agree with you! The black stripe is fab. But at $98, I'm not sure I can justify a full price purchase for a cotton shirt. I may give in though :-P. I have to say, I was pretty obsessed with JCrew of late, but this blog has changed that obsession into something even more! Not great for my finances, I have to say. You all get me so excited! Glad to find others who share my love of JCrew! :-D

  28. did anyone else's shopping bag get emptied this morning with the new stuff being put on the website? everything in mine is gone!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Btw, my work is lame. They've been cracking down on internet use, so I haven't been able to visit several sites, including shopping sites like JCrew! I was online at home about 6p est yesterday and they hadn't updated with the new arrivals yet. Boo. Will just have to hop home at lunch to peruse online, hehe.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I wouldn't buy JCrew's cashmere at full price...the sweaters I've purchased in the last couple of year pill pretty bad after a couple of wearings. It's a constant battle for me. While I love the colors and styles of JCrew's cashmere sweaters, I don't love the quality. I usually cave though when they go on sale.

The colors this season just aren't doing it for me, plus the sweaters look awfully thin. I like the garden bracelets and a couple pairs of shoes (although when I buy the shoes I'm usually disappointed) I do plan on hitting a store this weekend to check things out, but at first past I'm not really seeing any must haves.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Has J Crew lost their mind? Seriously... I just got an email from them, telling me they were giving cardmembers "early access" to new arrivals. So, I clicked on the link and arrived at the new arrivals- THAT EVERYONE ELSE CAN SEE!

    Early access- what a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Haha, jbird, that happens every month with a new rollout. They need to have a true "new arrivals" alert for Aficionadas! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am a bit disappointed that the Maggie isn't available at this time. Maybe like someone said they are waiting for the shipment to come in. Did anyone try or own the Victoria ruffle cami? How's the fit? I am hoping it is more fitted than the Elizabeth. Does anyone know?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I called CS to order the Maggie and he told me that it will be available tomorrow to order by phone or on line. He wouldn't even let me wait list. Hmmmm...wonder what the real story is.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I LOVE the new opening page - it's very striking. I'm really excited about the ruffle blouse, the new skirts, the shoes, belts, and clutches with feathers and crystals, and some of the new jewelry is gorgeous! Good thing my birthday is coming up!

    ReplyDelete
  36. How much is the Maggie? I don't have my catalog nearby.

    ReplyDelete
  37. OT but has anyone ordered the marino lady jacket? Does it run TTS? Looks like it might be a little snug.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous @ 10:45am,

I just got the Victoria ruffle cami yesterday in dark grey. I think it is more fitted than the Elizabeth, at least at the bottom hem. Not as billowy. The collar is amazing. In general it is fab-u-lous :-P. I am generally a 6/8 in tops, so I got a 6 in this as I am small around the waist/ribcage. Hope that helps!

    ReplyDelete
  39. uh oh, another marta on here... lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. iheartjcrew,

The Maggie is $250 for reg/petite, $260 for tall.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I can't find the maggie on the website.

There are a few items that I really like but I will probably have to wait until there is a coupon code or they go on sale. I can't bring myself to pay $118 for a cardi (chiffon florette) that's not cashmere!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hi Marta!

Hehe. That's funny. I rarely come across people with my name. I'm actually a Polish Marta even though the name is Spanish/Hispanic.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I just ordered the Maggie in Deep Yellow. I'm hoping this will be one of those jackets I will want to sleep in!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thanks, Weab!

When might our lovely Polyvore ladies roll-out new outfits featuring some of these new items?

FFM: I love the new color in the University pant (herringbone camel), but my store didn't have it in stock, so if you want a new pant to style-that's my vote! Thanks!

  45. I'm sure a lot of people are eager to get their rewards cards! I just spoke with the credit card customer service and they said the rewards cards are being mailed next week. We should receive them by November 5. However, they said that we should be able to start using them next week even if we don't receive the physical versions. We can order by phone and even buy in-store and they should be able to look up our rewards so they can be applied to the purchase. This way, we have a fighting chance of not letting everything we like get away!

iheartjcrew - the Merino lady jacket runs true to size. I have it in charcoal. Very warm, too.

flaneuse - I agree that last year's cashmere is very thin and pills like crazy. However, many of the sweaters I got this year are of much better quality. The cashmere rosette cardigan from spring (on sale) is extremely thick and soft. The cashmere femme sweater that I got is also very soft and thicker than last year's. I've noticed that it's on a case-by-case basis. Different sweaters and colors come out with different thickness and softness for some reason.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Marta> Yeah, I'm Polish too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. I saw that they had the bootcut cords on sale for 39.99 (less 20%). I think these are last year's version. Does anyone have the 2007 cords? Are they similar to the 2008 fall season ones?

    ReplyDelete
  48. I wish JCrew would make the hammered silk cami in more colors. All the ruffles and pleats on the other styles don't work when you are curvy on top.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I did a few sets this morning using a couple of new coats.

    http://www.polyvore.com/winter_white_citron/set?id=4142911

Go to this one and you can flip through my recent sets.

  50. Hi Everyone,
I have a question - is there any rhyme or reason to how often we get the 20% off regular priced item emails? I can't afford some of this stuff at full price. The only thing I know is that someone from Jcrew told me that they tend to happen on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Anyone? And, do you think there is a chance of getting another on soon with Thanksgiving coming up>?

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'm wearing my bootcut cords purchased last year today. They are TTS and I have not noticed any problem with shrinkage. I believe the fit is the same for this year's cords. Best corduroys I have ever owned -- so soft and plush.

    ReplyDelete
  52. mp,

Can you let me know how you were able to order the Maggie? I checked and it was not online. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  53. 3P - you rock - thanks for giving information on the rewards. I was soooo worried I would miss out on cute stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  54. sophia - I personally have never been a fan of the 5-pocket bootcut cords. But I can't say enough about the favorite-fit stretch vintage trouser cords. They make my legs looks a hundred miles long but are not super skinny or tight. This is particularly key for me as a petite. The material is realy soft. It's thicker than some of the other cords, which makes them more wearable in the colder months.

I paid full price for this year's (with 20% off though) but you can get last year's for $39.99 in lots of great colors.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I am definitely getting the Kate Flannel dress in light pumpkin. I really liked the jeweled Cady shift in the same color, but it's too expensive, so i'm glad the kate is offered in the same color.

Here's a few other things I really like, but can't afford right now (maybe I can get a couple as xmas gifts, heehee!).

Lastly, I can totally see my 14 year old cousin wearing the bright fuschia matchstick cords and the black skull and crossbones wellies. lol! I thought those two items were kind of out there, at least with the new shift to an older customer.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I got mine early this morning, it was still showing up for me. This is for the Maggie Deep Yellow. :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. convert5,

I thought the bootcut cords seemed *a little* bigger this year, but it wasn't drastic enough for me to size down.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Tracey-Thanks so much in advance! I love that skirt, it is adorable and a must have.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I wasn't a big fan of the boot cords from this season. I do like the trouser fit cords. I just bought a pair in the dark brown color two days ago and they are super soft. In general J Crew's pants seem to be running a big on me. I normally get 2 at Banana and I had to get a 0 in the trouser cords at J Crew.

  60. COMMENTARY & QUESTIONS:)
First-thank you to those that gave me reply on cords!

*Cashmere Ava with two button neck looks really fabu and elegant

*I love the Chiffon florette cardi (item 99817)Has anyone seen IRL at their store? Both colors are so pretty and love the buttons!

*Here's another VERY interesting thing I noticed. The Sequined chiffon-ruffle cardigan $110.00 item 97832 is back on the site!!! Crewbie and I got them at her new store yesterday and I figured they just brought them back for the opening of that store but they are back on the site. Store was promo for $88!

*What do you all think of this seeing up close? Dream Simone cardigan $158.00 item 99814

*Does anyone have this and what do you wear it with? http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Shop_By_Category/sweaters/dream/PRDOVR~96233/96233.jsp
Cannot decide whether to keep mine.

*Smock tissue top looks pretty but might be a preggers shirt and maybe kinda short?
    http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Feature_Assortment/NewArrivals/knitstees/PRDOVR~11099/11099.jsp

*This outfit looks bad--proportions are out of whack: http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Feature_Assortment/NewArrivals/shirts/PRDOVR~99921/99921.jsp

*Can anyone tell me how cheap they were getting the Marcella blouses on sale at their store-they have been around on sale a LONG time? It is still $49.99 online and I want it for less.

*I will add that I noticed a lot of people were concerned with all of the bright color. I am actually a big fan and love color but strangely enough as I have gone through everything new and added what I had interest in--everything in my cart is neutral-like 17 items (so unlike me!) In my honest opinion there are MANY new great pieces that are very neutral-whether shirts, skirts, cardis there are lots of champagne, heather nut, creme, shades of grey! Love this new catalog!

    ReplyDelete
  61. The new merino sweaters are beautiful!! I do agree, though, that they seem a bit thin; that's a pet peeve of mine when it comes to wool sweaters. Anyway, that's not going to prevent me from getting a Lea in dark peony! But then there's the Jackie in dark aquamarine - I can't afford everything I want!

    ReplyDelete
  62. anon @11:45 - it's interesting that you have that sizing experience. I find that with most J.Crew favorite fit pants, I have to go up a size. But it may have something to do with buying the petite favorite fit. I normally wear size 0-0P in city fit but size 2P in favorite fit.

Also, I don't know if you've worn your dark brown trouser cords yet, but last year's dark brown color is sale online in a lot of sizes for almost half the price (+ 20% off). You may be able to swap your pants and save a little money.

    ReplyDelete
  63. are there "retail only items"?? i was in a store last night and saw the cutest tee - had a bulldog and sequins on the front. i'm in love, but they only had one left and not in my size. the girl said it was retail only and they can't keep them in the store. any idea how to get my hands on this item???

    ReplyDelete
  64. Did anyone happen to catch the University herringbone in camel in their store(it looks more like a stone color online and in the catalog--not sure why they they called it camel-confusing)? My store didn't have it. I was curious as to what color it was, and if it looks office appropriate.

    ReplyDelete
  65. covert5,

I had the same exact thought about the pairing of the silky floral cami with the geometric tweed mini! Makes the model look like she has no waist or a very short torso. Blousing the cami out does not work. I think a slim fitting button down or the victoria ruffle shirt would look better.

Several the sweaters do look rather thin. Not going to work for me in the northeast!

    ReplyDelete
  66. KathyStl - read this post for a good discussion about the quality of J.Crew's cashmere:

    http://jcrewaficionada.blogspot.com/2008/10/article-on-jcrews-collection-store-in.html

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hannah-call up and have them do a we will find it for you--that's your first best option and you obviously need the style number. Then if no luck--call some random big stores like MI, maybe CA--I have found pieces by doing my own search when desperate (like when it has been out a while and popular!) ie. last years white Fiona jacket. Good luck!

So one person ordered the Maggie online which means they had SOME even if small supply, correct?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Why do they have to dump my shopping bag every time!!?

    Traci

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hannah,
I have seen these recently at both San Francisco J Crew stores. Didn't check sizes but there seemed to have been a pile of them in both stores....

    ReplyDelete
  70. Traci--do you have a "cookie cleaner" installed on your computer? Maybe your computer is cleaning out your cookies and that's why the bag keeps emptying?

That is a complaint I have of the new website--I believe that before the changes, you could sign-in under your name and have your shopping basket wherever you went, now I think it is based on cookies, so each computer I use needs to be added.

    ReplyDelete
  71. No, I don't have a "cookie cleaner." J.Crew is the only website I have this problem with.:(

    Traci

    ReplyDelete
  72. Where is a picture of this elusive maggie? Preferably a bigger or close up. But I haven't seen in? How is everyone already knowing they want to buy it? I didn't see it online.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Is it weird that I would actually buy more from the crewcuts selections if they came in adult sizes? The orange and pink striped puffer is freaking adorable! (http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/CrewCutBrowse/ShopForGirls/Girls_Shop_By_Category/outerwear/PRDOVR~95863/95863.jsp)

    ReplyDelete
  74. according to a sales associate in charleston a lot of the girls from college of charleston buy crewcuts. And he said they don't even wear the biggest size. (I think this must be girls with an eating disorder)

    ReplyDelete
  75. Is this the Maggie everyone's talking about? It's available in petite sizes.. 99250

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yes, that is the Maggie. It was in the catalog that was posted here earier in the week. I am iterested in that in berry, the stadium cloth double breasted coat in citron and a couple of the merino crewnecks. I will have to wait for the next discount code, however.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I am lusting after the following:

    Merino Melanie button-cuff cardigan
    Chiffon-florette cardigan
    Quinn cami
    Perfect-fit flower tank
    Wool flannel golden roses dress
    Metallic-flecked pencil skirt
    Wide crystal garden bracelet
    Crystal garden ring
    Alessia patent-leather Mary Jane
    Alessia patent-leather peep-toe
    Shimmer metallic scarf

But! I definitely have to pace myself, and definitely wait for a coupon. In these trying times I can't justify purchasing everything on my wish list, but I will buy a few of my most desired items. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  78. if you search "maggie" on the site the pic comes up, but no sizes left....

    ReplyDelete
  79. Regarding college girls wearing crewcuts-- I am short and petite with a small bust, usually wear p0, p2, or xs, and I actually saw some crewcut cardigans at a jcrew store a couple weeks ago and thought I might try one out just too see if it would fit, because I have a few gapkids shirts. The xxl was pretty tight and the sleeves too short. Ladies wearing crewcuts are either much shorter/smaller than me (I'm 5'1") or have an eating disorder. Sadly, probably the latter. :/

    ReplyDelete
  80. I ordered the Cambridge Cable cardigan (I wasn't going to pay fp for the cashmere), and a Perfect Fit LS Tee, and a another Yoga top. I used the 10% code it paid for the shipping.

The merino sweaters look awfully thin IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  81. searching maggie doesn't work for me on explorer nor firefox--The best you can do is look at the tiny yellow version on the homepage.

    ReplyDelete
  82. The merinos ARE THIN--that is the sweater I was all pumped up about when I got the catalog and started spouted out all kinds of info about the must haves only to go in the store see it and try it on and think it is too thin and the merino is not nice-this is just my opinion but I think a fair assessment. Trust me I wanted to love this sweater :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. constance,

I think if anything, a crewcuts puffer might be on the small side, but could fit on a petite. You could take the sleeves off and wear it as a vest. As I mentioned when I tried on a cardigan, crewcut items with sleeves are still probably going to be less forviging on us smaller grown-ups! :P

    ReplyDelete
  84. I agree with Heather than in general, the crewcuts stuff is way too small for almost anyone who isn't a kid to fit into. However, occasionally, some of the cardigans may work on a very small petite. I find that some of the straighter cuts of cardigans in an XL actually can fit someone who wears a 0-0P. Especially if you like your fit really snug. The catch is, you may not be able to button it if you have even a moderate bustline. However, with so many of the cashmere sweaters running so big this year, I've been thinking about trying a boy's size. It might be slightly less tight (though not much cheaper than adult sizes).

    ReplyDelete
  85. ss, i saw the university herringbone in store--it's an oatmeal color with metallic threads. Def not camel. I think it would look pretty for a party but kind of over the top for the office? But, if you work in a more creative-type office rather than conservative office you could probably do it.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I can't believe the Maggie is sold out!! :( I wanted it, but was just waiting for it to get onto the website so I could order it online. Do you think they'll have more available later?

    ReplyDelete
  87. What color did everyone want the Maggie in? I personally loved the camel color, but was told it was unavailable. :(

    ReplyDelete
  88. 3-penny,

I agree, the boy's cardigans might be a better fit for petites. I want the "grandpa" sweater vest cardigan (sleeveless), but haven't seen it in-store.

    ReplyDelete
  89. anon @ 10:45, I tried on the victoria in store and it's definitely more fitted than the elizabeth.

    ReplyDelete
  90. The merino cardigan ARE very thin...I wore mine yesterday and it had two pulls in it by the end of the day. :( I also liked it better in the store...the buttons kept coming undone when I wore it yesterday. Still pretty, though.

Does anyone's B&M have any Jackie's on sale??

    ReplyDelete
  91. Has anyone ever tired to order the girls crewcuts shoes? I saw some really cute flats but I'm not sure if they would fit. I have samll feet and I've bought children's sized shoes and had them fit but I'm not sure about crewcuts.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Does anyone have the Sybil coat from last year? Thoughts?

I see it on sale and it looks pretty--wondering if any Aficionadas can provide opinions:)

    ReplyDelete
  93. This is the crewcuts cardigan I tried on in either xl or xxl, can't remember now. I can't find it online at jcrew. I think because it was 3/4 sleeves, it looked even more out of proportion. A snug fit which I do like, but a little too cropped on sleeves and hem.

    ReplyDelete
  94. iheartjcrew: I believe the largest size the crewcuts shoes come in is a size 4. My daughter used to wear a women's 5 and the JC 4's were a bit small. They definitely are sized for a kid's foot, unfortunately. They are totally cute!!!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Cass-thanks for the insight on the color of the University pants. I could not make heads or tails from the catalog.

Shoot, I hope the Maggie isn't really sold-out!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hannah,

There were a bunch of the dog t's in my local store, Towson, MD. I agree- they are super cute!

  97. Just got back from the store. They had a few new things out. She said they had about 40 boxes in the back to unload.

I picked up a long sleeve pin-tuck tee in black. It fits awesome. I'm an xs and some of the tops are way too boxy for me. This is perfect.

Got some sale 3/4 sleeve tops, scarf, headband (for like $1.50!). Tons of stuff on sale 30% off. I may go back tonight!

  98. cass- thanks for letting us know about the Victoria fit. I was eyeing it too after seeing it in the catalog, but I didn't want another Elizabeth/Lydia experience. Those are way too loose for smaller figures. I'm hopeful for the Victoria.

  100. Is anyone familar with the Mia dress that's in the sale section? It's the long, yellow dress? I love it, but am 5'11, and want to know if it's really long or not. It says it falls 45 inches from the natural waste...but I'm more curious as to how long the entire dress is...any help is much appreciated!!

    ReplyDelete
  101. ok, I know it will probably be really itchy, but I like the mohair muffler scarf (in light chartreuse)!

    ReplyDelete
  102. jen/ anon @2:08

I bought the Mia dress a while back ago. I'm 5'6" and it was way too long on me. At your height, it should be fine. I should warn you that the color looks like a pale yellow in the photos, but it's really very neon yellow in person. Not at all like the website shows! I had to return it, b/c mine had a stain on the bottom hem- grease or something. Maybe a blessing in disguise, since I thought it was ugly and it was on FS...

    Hope this helps!

  103. Hannah, I have the bulldog tee and love it! I got it last weekend at Tyson's Corner, but I saw some on Wednesday at Pentagon City (in VA)!

  104. Hmmm, colors are rough this season. If you can't wear gray, any of the yellow-based colors, or pastels like the new spearmint there isn't much to choose from. Would have loved a sweater in bright peacock.

    ReplyDelete
  105. FFM, for your next styling set, could you do the bright fuschia cashmere cardigan? I have basically the same thing from last year and don't know what to do with it other than pair with black pants or skirts with black or white cami underneath. Would like some more interesting looks (for office). Thanks!

  106. I'm getting the old "BE Back Soon" when I try to pull up the J Crew page. What now???

    ReplyDelete
  107. Why is the website still such an epic fail? I get the Be Back Soon sign when I try to get onto jcrew.com Goshdarnit, and I wanted to see the new arrivals too...

    ReplyDelete
  108. When I type J Crew maggie into google, it brings up a ling for maggie that leads to a page for it in heather silver. Sooooo pretty! But no sizes.

    ReplyDelete
  109. From kathystl

Thanks Kitchy7 - I read the discussion and did not see one positive thing about J. CREW cashmere! That is too bad because the colors and styling of the sweaters are way more hip them most of the cashmere sweaters I see elsewhere. That being said, I did find a long sleeve cardigan on sale in the perfect color that I am going to give a whirl.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I just pre-ordered the Maggie in black over the phone - give them the style number (which you can get by googling J.Crew maggie jacket) and have them look into it. I was told the jackets wouldn't be coming in until mid-November (possibly sooner). It looks like the Maggie may be available in petite/tall sizes online...

I can't understand why they show some new arrivals on their website even though the items are not available! C'mon JCrew, get it together!

  111. Has anyone been to the Asheville or Charlotte NC b&m lately? Just wondering what their % off final sale is...

    ReplyDelete
  112. For those of you who have seen Victoria Ruffle silk IRL do you like it better than lydia? I ordered the watercolor lydia but it's waitlisted and was wondering which would be better!

    ReplyDelete
  113. kathystl - good call. I pretty much only buy my J.Crew cashmere on sale because they pill so fast, but I've never had any fall apart on me, thankfully. And it is quite soft, not itchy.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Hey guys! I've been following J. Crew and creeping around on this blog religiously for a while, and I thought that I'd post a few thoughts on my mind...I feel like J. Crew has recently made a drastic departure from the classic, preppy styles of yesteryear, and I'm not too sure I like it. I used to be able to count on the Crew to produce classic preppy styles with a twist or pop of color, but now I feel like everything offered is so...fashion-y and style-centric (ie belonging on the runway and not in my more-conservative closet), even the colors. Not to mention the prices are creeping up ever so gradually...So yeah that was my spiel.

    ReplyDelete
  115. appgal...Charlotte is 30% off.

  116. I love J.crew cashmere sweaters... i have bought over the year over 10+ and i take really good care of it and still look like they are new... and the colors are beutiful i love the new item the pinks and blues are great i can wait to add more cashmere to my collection.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Hey all, this is OT, but a word of warning regarding exchanges. Apparently with the new system, if you exchange an item via mail, they will refund the price of the original and then charge your account for the new item. This means that the charge will go through immediately and the refund will take 3-5 days. I found this out the very hard way this afternoon as this new system caused me to overdraft on my checking account - luckily I caught it in time and was able to fix it before it caused more damage, but just be aware. Also, when I called J.Crew about it, they were not very helpful (basically told me I should have known) even though there is nothing on the website about this new policy and I have never heard of a store doing exchanges this way. Hope this hasn't happened to anyone else, but just be aware!

    ReplyDelete
  118. I have multiple J Crew cashmere cardigan, and like other cashmere - they pill, but I don't think it's that much, and most of them are not 1 ply. I am sure why people say that. I have 2 of the bateau neck, and 1 of the v neck, and several critter ones from past seasons.

The only one that seems to pill more is the very lightweight version.

Anyway, comparing J Crew styling to Land's End is kind of laughable. Land's End is kind of matronly.

The only company that I've found to make better cashmere is Pure Collection, but it's mail order only from England, and the prices are twice as much, even on sale.

    ReplyDelete
  119. O/T from new arrivals...I placed an order from FS Wednesday, standard shipping, and received it today. Wow, they're really trying to move the inventory.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Julia,

I had the same sort of issue! I was in a JCrew store recently, returning the Trixie heels and exchanging for Lulu peep toe heels. I was hoping to do an exhange on my JC card, but they had to do the return and I had to purchase the Lulu's on my debit (no more avail credit!). This was a bit annoying and unexpected. I feel like exchanges didn't work this way before. I guess it's Ok though b/c it brought my credit balance down :-P.

  121. anonymous @ 3:36,

I like the new Victoria blouse better. I got it yesterday in dark grey (which I don't think is offered online). It's not as billowy at the bottom hem as the Elizabeth halter and a bit more interesting/nicer than the Lydia watercolor IMO. Hope that helps!

    ReplyDelete
  122. anon 3:57 I don't think anyone is comparing the styles between Lands End and JC, the discussion was on the quality of the cashmere. Lands End is 2 ply, and JC is only 1 ply. Jones New York has 2 ply lux and it is a much higher quality than JC, the price is pretty good too.

    ReplyDelete
  123. My overall experience with J Crew cashmere has been not too bad...For some reason, all of my cardigans have held up beautifully, and they are my favorite wardrobe staples. The crewnecks do pill a lot, I find, especially the spring/summer lighter cashmere.

And can everyone share what they love so much about the Maggie? I wear a tall, and they have it in my size, but what makes it so much better than any other crew coat?

    ReplyDelete
  124. The merino rose cardigan is already on sale? Has anyone bought it? How does it fit? Is it similar to the tartine cardigans?

    very nice!

I love the Carrie coat and the dream tie-neck cardigan!

I've always wondered if I'd fit into crewcuts.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Ooh, excellent topic for discussion...anyone out there ever tried fitting into crew cuts?

And does it bother anyone else how jcrew always styles skirts with belts, but the skirts have no belt loops...so if you tried the look in real life, you'd constantly be adjusting the belt all day?

    ReplyDelete
  127. Just got back from my store--heather those scarves are REALLY cute! I tried one on.

I had to have the victoria long sleeve in white (I don't think stripe would take me as far and that was good-saves $10 more:)

Also--they pared down the victoria sleeveless and I agree with all that have seen/tried it--it is TDF!! GORGEOUS--gotta have it!!

Tried on the floral jewel bracelet also so fabulous--very sparkly yet sophisticated--vintage like. They have a lot of GREAT jewelry this Fall which is great to see but it is still pricey.

Saw some of the new coats, cardis, tuxedo henleys, cashmeres, all and all the new stuff is really great IMO.
    Happy Shopping!

I just got my merino rose cardigan on Tuesday. The fabric is very thin but I really like the sweater. The purple color looks different than online...but I like the sweater a lot.

  130. Yes, the discussion was on cashmere quality...not style...that said...changing to style: Land's End makes a classic crewneck cardigan just like JCrew's as well as a hoodie. Also, LLBean has a cashmere hoodie and it is very comparable in style to JCrew....great colors too. As far as basic styles cardi and hoodie those are comparable.

    ReplyDelete
  131. plumdum229: I completely agree with you. The other day someone commented I was the only one here thought so. Now I am getting more likeable jcrew items (from previous years) on ebay.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Happy Friday, ladies - just got back from my b&m! They really didn't have much in the way of new arrivals so I placed a red phone order, but did pick up the Issy sweater jacket (cute!). Gotta see how it looks with my other things - my SA is so awesome, and an enabler - she's like, "It's totally returnable!" I tried on the Kate dress and found it to be too big up top and snug at the waist and kind of paunchy (VERY similar to last winter's super 120's dress with the tie at the waist and bow in the back). I won't be purchasing, but it looked very well made and will likely be great for other Aficionadas!

covert5 - you found me out! ;) I'll message you.

  133. OT, but Ann Taylor Loft is having a really good promotion...buy one NEW ITEM get the other HALF OFF with code STYLE50.

Man...if j.crew did this promotion I'd be in serious trouble...

    ReplyDelete
  134. Everyone else may have already noticed this, but the chiffon ruffle cardi is back online!

    ReplyDelete
  135. I don't think the standard J Crew cashmere are 1 ply. The ones I got are identical in thickness as the Pure Collection ones from England and their website stated theirs is 2 ply.

If you just get the basic styles there are many options, but I found the J Crew has styles that are ahead of other vendors (they are imitating J Crew in the styles and models). Their blouson-sleeve bateau is cute, and you won't find Martine anywhere else. The peplum jacket is cute as well. Soiree is pretty different.

Anyway my point is if you want to look like anyone else, you have more options.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Anyone know if they are going to have another 20% promotion (regular priced items)?

    ReplyDelete
  137. Alexis~ would it be cool/helpful to start a post with a list of some retail-only items?

I loved the Candace bag (retail only, and now close to sold out), and there are some new Fall/holiday items that are def not online or in the catalog. So far the only way I know they are retail-only is checking for the style# online or on the red phone.

Warning, it's definitely going to be an enabler-post because when I know my only shot to get my size is in store or to call around to other stores, I'm much liklier to buy! Worth it tho IMO for the really unique (but not necessarily offically "Collection") pieces!

It would probably be interesting to share (pics, a la Gigiofca's bag) with those who don't have a b&m so if they love a piece they can call to charge-ship.

    ReplyDelete
  138. My local store did not have many of the new arrivals. I hate being told that I can order over the red phone. Personally, I would like to try it on before I buy the items. I hate returning things. And I always feel like associates look at me funny when I return things. But what can they expect when I ordered it without trying it on?

    ReplyDelete
  139. And also last year's November catalog was so much more winter and cozy than this one. What is up with all the spring like clothes?

    ReplyDelete
  140. Bellemarie I love that idea. As we speak I am trying to find phone numbers for the bulldog tee--to see how much it costs and have it shipped. I always seem to miss out on the graphic and sequined tees, and I don't want this to be another one.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Heather...the politicians would say it's global warming. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  142. OT but I would like to say one thing to jcrew. If you want to go more high end and fashion toward you really need to get rid if your outlets! They bring down the brand! Everyone knows outlet pieces are poorer quality. Why would you want something that is lesser quality made when you're trying to make a high name for yourself? And we do know things at outlets are items with a little defect or lesser quality, ie bellas that are not fully lined

  144. Speaking of "spring-like" clothes in November, what's up with all the peep-toe shoes? I love the style for the spring/summer, but I prefer to avoid my toes freezing off in November through March. This is one of my pet peeves with the current cole haan pump collection--cute peep toe styles but so impractical for fall/winter.

I would like to see some more variety put into the boot collection rather than just the usual styles.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Laverte, last week I was in the New Haven CT store and they had the sequin bulldog tee. It was really cute. I thought it was only sold in that store because the store is near the campus of Yale University and their mascot is the bulldog. DUH!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Cass, I know what you mean about exposed toes. It seems that every photo of jeans and pants that JCrew shows is done with peep toe heels or strappy sandals. It looks great, but it's totally UNREALISTIC! I just can't be that much of a "slave to fashion" to freeze my toes off. If I see anybody walking down the street in shoes like that in January, I'll have to laugh at them!

    ReplyDelete
  147. I hate it that I bought the merino rose cardi for FP tho with a 20% PS discount & now they r on sale/promotion for $88. And then do u get to add the extra 20% discount for sale items on the cardi? I was also wondering how people know when to wait for a certain item to go on sale and when they go ahead & buy it for FP. Whenever I wait for things to go on sale it sells out and when I purchase it FP I find it for sale 2 days later:( Either ways I must have a really bad luck...

    ReplyDelete
  148. Plumdum229, I totally agree about JCrew getting too "fashiony". I miss the classic-but-cool clothes they used to have. I love the look of the new stuff but it just doesn't fit into my lifestyle.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I went to my B&M today and found myself buying sale stuff instead of new stuff. I got the lydia blouse on a great sale. It really is hard to buy something at full price when I can just wait for it to go on sale. That's my plan for this new rollout. I do plan to eventually get the merino melanie button cuff cardigan. Its a great weight for the south, and will look great with hammered silk tanks or lydias. I did snag the abstract rose print skirt for a great price, as well as the marcella in rhubarb.

And, by the way, there is a whole slew of velvet Bellas on Ebay (the real, fully lined one - not outlet). There are tons of sizes.

I hope everyone enjoys the new clothes, but I don't think I'll be buying anything.

    ReplyDelete
  150. lol, 7:42, Nine West and a few other brands are selling peep-toe BOOTS this fall. It's completely ridiculous. Those will be on sale for $19.99 in a few weeks. :P

    ReplyDelete
  151. Anon @ 8:01, just buy it at full price and DON'T CUT OFF THE TAGS. Just pray that your tag doesn't pop out while you're wearing it to your husband's company XMas party...

    ReplyDelete
  152. Cass, are you supposed to wear socks with peep-toe boots? I'm assuming not, but I know my feet would get pretty gnarly in boots without socks after a couple of hours...

    ReplyDelete
  153. Cass - I totally agree with you on the Cole Haan pumps! If I get a pair of fancy CH pumps, I want to be able to wear them in the winter...and in the office! But I still managed to find a bunch of closed toe pumps - check out the carma air and jenna air. I got a few of each in different colors, and they're both fabulous (and fabulously comfortable - the addition of Nike air padding was a stroke of genius).

Speaking of Cole Haan - 20% off your entire purchase with the code PENNY through October 19.

And if you like the Jamie bag but want something a tad nicer, take a look at the Aerin collection zip satchel: http://www.colehaan.com/colehaan/catalog/product.jsp?productId=194362&categoryId=306193&productGroup=194470#

  154. Ooh, for a retail only item, I saw a black wool A-line dress with short sleeves and the ruffled/pleated front placket and collar like the Victoria cami/blouse. Looks like this year's take on those wool ruffle-collar Phoebe dresses. Cute, side zip, had pockets - not sure if I'm liking JC going pocket crazy (like on the Kate) - they kind of stick out and if they're not completely smoothed down draw attention to the hip/thigh area. I didn't get the item #, but it was $198, IIRC.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Did anyone else notice that J.Crew started listing whether handbags are lined or unlined? Wonder if that's a result of our discussion about finding out that certain bags were unlined.....

    ReplyDelete
  156. kitchy, I keep looking for that now - if a bag is unlined it just get scratched off my list! I need lining :)

    ReplyDelete
  157. kitchy7--i did find 2 pairs of Cole Haan pumps with the closed toes, but such a large percentage of the fall collection is OT--really cuts down on the options.

I don't know what one is supposed to do with open toe boots sock-wise--I guess maybe crocheted/patterned tights? I only wear tights with open-toe shoes if the tights are a very open, wide knit, so you can see your toe nail polish, if that makes sense. Otherwise it just looks like you forgot they were open-toe shoes???

Silver-lining--I saw that black ruffle dress as well. It looked very cute, but a bit on the short side. I wonder what the idea behind store-only merchandise is--esp. since they seem to want to clear out store stock faster than online stock--i.e. deeper discounts in store.

8:01: The merino rose cardi is on promo for $88.00, not on final sale (those items end in .99), so no you don't get the extra 20% off. Currently, that's only for final sale mark-downs. So you actually got a better deal paying FP w/ 20% coupon.

  164. Anon @ 7:27: I am not sure if having an outlet affects J. Crew's image. Doesn't Saks have an outlet store too? Off the 5th or something?

I think J. Crew is trying to be a differentiator, gain a competitive advantage with the higher-end niche strategy. I guess time will tell.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Saks, Barneys, Lacoste, and Ralph Lauren all have outlet stores.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I think those other outlet stores sell authentic product that has been discontinued, overstock, etc. It's not specifically designed of lower quality for the outlet.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Outlet stores do not lower a brands image it is just a way to get rid of merchandise as well as well cater to a customer who does not want to spend full price. Burberry, theory, cole haan, zegna, etc all have outlet stores. Outlets are a great place to get some basic items like the tees.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Just got back from a shopping trip (of course). There was some new stuff in my local store- they're a smaller store, so they don't get everything.

I tried on the Kate dress- I agree with a previous poster- it can make you look paunchy with the gathering in the front. I tried it on with a patent belt cinched at the waist- totally cute! DF wasn't crazy about it- I think the camel color made me look washed out (I have super fair skin and red hair). Maybe another color would be nice on me.

So, anyhow, I ended up with the Victoria ruffled black stripe blouse- so cute! And two cardis with the turn back sleeves and decorative buttons- one black, one tan. Oh, and two hammered silk tanks. That was enough for me!

    ReplyDelete
  169. I just noticed that the Victoria striped ruffled blouse says online/catalog only. I wonder why? It was in the store!

  170. Hi, everyone. I've been reading this blog for a while, but this is my first post. This morning I saw the double serge pencil skirt available online in a bright blue (can't remember the color name) and fell in love. This evening it was no longer on the site. I called CS, and they said it was no longer in stock. I mean, is that even possible? It sold out in less than 8 hours, in EVERY size? I am an AVID shopper, and I've never seen something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  171. lolafrye- The double serge pencil skirt in brilliant blue was released in early September. I think it sold out online quickly. It may still be available in some stores. You may want to call CS and see if they can locate one for you. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  172. so i'm wait listed for the maggie in yellow and black, supposedly sa says there are only about a dozen in each color available in my sz except for the heather pink (i'm sure i didn't get the name right, anyhow it's the only pink) had about 30 units...hopefully it's not going to be like the rose tee, it seems strange that they'd order such low quantities.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Well, not everyone lives in a cold climate. I still wear peeptoe now in California (weather is in the 80's).

I have a pair of peeptoe short bootie too, and I plan to wear it during winter. The opening on the toe is rather small - you can only see the big toe. I would say - wear sneakers/boots while traveling to the office, and once you get into the office, wear a nice pair of shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Ah ha...that's very helpful Anon 10:58. Thank you very much! Sold out since September I can definitely believe. I guess I missed it the first time around. Very sad. 175. if Jcrew wants to be a high end DESIGNER no they do not need to have outlets. Cole hann, saks, lacoste... These are not high end designers! Of they want to be cotoure quality selling 3000 jackets, they shouldn't want customers who are outlet shoppers. And we all know Jcrew outlets sell lower quality merchandise not just overstocked stuff. And of they want their things to be special they shouldn't make so many that they have to send them to outlets. On either count it's hurting their image.

    ReplyDelete
  176. The light spearmint color is goooorgeous. It's nice seeing brighter, bolder colors for fall instead of the typical muted browns and blacks and grays:

  178. MAGGIE COAT - Last night I happened to be online when the new items popped up on the site and was able to order the Maggie in camel. It comes in the following colors: ivory, camel, deep yellow, heather bright berry and black.

    Reg Size 0-14 #99322
    Petite Size 0-12 #99250
    Tall Size 2-14 #99363

This is J. Crew we're talking about, not Bergdorf Goodman! If J. Crew really tried to become super high end in all aspects of its business, it would lose about 95% of its customer base. And also, Cole Haan, etc. are high end designers, but they also have lower end items that every day people like us can (sometimes) afford. The reason -- to make more money! In short, J. Crew should not be ashamed of its outlets. There's nothing wrong with a store having a large range of quality and pricing.

  184. Can we do a new post of CS people that are rude? Seems like these nasty, faceless, shamefully annoyed-at-you calling people at the crew should be ousted for their notoriety. Afterall, they figure everyone willing to pay $150 for a shirt should get some free 'tude with their order.

Sorry everyone, I just had a BAD experience.

  185. I don't know . . . I've never dealt with bad CS from J.Crew before.

  186. Call right now. You're bound to run into the wolves tonight. Must be a full moon.

  187. kitsmommy - That was nice of you to share the BR sale info. I got a pair of slammin' boots for $120 after the 2 discounts. They are truly gorgeous. I'll blog about them upon receipt.

Anonymous @ 2:29p - I agree. Peacock would have been a great color to have. However, I think there are 2 or 3 total releases over the upcoming months, so perhaps we will be happy later about new colors.

Anonymous @ 3:36 - The Lydia silk blouse is just different than the Victoria ruffle. I tried on the latter today. *big huge sigh* I really love it. Apparently the dark slate color is selling well. The coral is a true pink, imo, and super pretty. The off white is classic. The placket on the Victoria is not as ruffled as depicted on p59. It lays more flat if I recall correctly, as depicted on p. 58.

The ruffles are different on the Victoria. It's almost like architecture framing your neck and upper chest, without looking at all like a Pierrot clown. The Lydia also is pretty but in a different way. The ruffles are more flouncy and not so architectural, if that makes sense.

    plumdum229 - Welcome!

bellemarie - I am going to have to memorize the current catalog so I can figure out which items are retail only when I see them. I swear a lot of the SAs don't know the difference. And apparently some of the stores *do* get catalog/internet items. You know the Candace is $109.99 before 30%, right? I almost bought the yellow today.

    Anonymous @ 9:52p - I believe Baird McNutt jackets were catalog/internet only.

silver_lining - I also saw the black wool A-line dress with short sleeves and the ruffled/pleated front placket. It is really cute. I didn't bother to try it on. I didn't want to fall in love at $198. Only saw it in black. It'd definitely be a classic.

Today I bought the Aubrey herringbone jacket (99478T) in Golden Cybress over the phone. I thought it was the one everyone was talking about and I tell you, I am really glad it's not the Maggie. I hope you all receive yours soon!

The fireball necklace (1156T) shown with it is very striking in person. Much more so than in the catalog. *IF*...you could only see it. lol

The jewelry overall is looking really beautiful. There were a couple of long necklaces in b&m. I need to peruse the catalog to see if they are in there or not.

  189. Anyone have this store-only black dress, or an item number? It sounds like something I'd love-- but, of course, I've only been picturing it in my head.

  190. I thought someone was looking for the jackie cardigans onsale... A heads up I saw a bunch of colors in the sale section online

  191. lolafrye, call CS and have them do a "we will find it for you" for the blue double-serge skirt - I received mine that way, and it was pretty quick!

PS - The Maggie is online now, but the quantities look pretty low (about 15 in each color in size 2, for example).

  192. I am not so thrilled with the colors this season but love that new Mandy jacket. Does anyone else save their old J Crew catalogs? I wonder if I am the only crazy one out there. I keep them so when I see older merchandise on sale I can reference back to it. I just ordered a few cords from last year on sale. Does anyone have the sherpa lined puffer jacket from last season? Just wondering how it looks/fits. Ordered the ivory in small, came to 71.99!

  193. Maggie--depending on what size and color there are as many as 55+....for example...in size 10 Berry there are 55 left...

While it is a very cute jacket not worth $250 to me...I would rather have a collection cashmere sweater!

Does anyone own the taffeta tie cashmere cardigan? It comes in snow and black...looks very nice!

  194. anon @ 9:52 - baird mcnutt jackets in size 6 available on the FS page in flame (red) and bright yellow.

  195. anonymous @ 8:03,

I bought the sherpa lined puffer jacket last year for the full retail price but I must say it is the warmest winter jacket I have ever bought. It will keep you warm throughout the coldest winter. I am usually a M but bought a size up. The jacket is really cute and looks well made.

  196. Has anyone seen the Lady Day in Bright Berry? How pink is it? And has anyone seen the boyfriend cardi in Blade Green? Is it teal or more green looking? thanks! :) I love the new arrivals, though I wish they'd have a v-neck cardi in cashmere thats long and without pockets. But oh well.

  197. Alysia - I've seen it in stores, and the bright berry is VERY pink.
