J.Crew Email: UP TO 50% OFF new styles added to sale, in stores and online

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Ketan, who shared the following email J.Crew sent this morning.

The email announces that new styles have been added to the Final Sale (click here to shop online).

I must have checked too late this morning because I could not see a big update. In fact, the sale section is looking pretty empty for me (750+ items). Hopefully some of you got to see some great items at some great prices! :)

Did you check out the Final Sale section? Did you get any items? If so, please share! :)

  1. Just an FYI, at least right now, not everything is final sale online.

Is there still additional % in B&Ms? I shouldn't even ask, as I am shopping my closet for Jan...

  2. mommydearest: I was in my B&M yesterday and the sale section was additional 40% off, making it final sale.

  3. Waiting for my fs order to arrive tomorrow! No more shopping till spring!

  4. I rounded up the price changes I noticed online and put them at the bottom of this post. I'm going by memory & what caught my eye. For the record, there are some things I don't log like swimwear. There aren't many reductions and some of the prices are going the wrong way.

  5. Gigi, I noticed the bonfire went up too. Maybe they saw a surge in "click's" on the item and decided to increase it. Who knows anymore!! Glad I'm not after anything.

What's up w/the Julienne leather heels? They seemed like an excellent deal during the promo's but I noticed they never sold out (well today 8's & smaller are gone). Are they uncomfortable? I noticed some other blogs compared them to Jessica Simpson and F21 shoes. The JCrew Julienne's look so much nicer than the other brands.

  6. I haven't looked into final sale section lately.

IRL: I have the Julienne leather heels and it fits tts and very comfortable. The only thing that may bother some is that your pinky toe may stick out to the side slot. But it's very minimal for me at least. I got it during a promo so it was a fair price I'd say.

  7. I'm not ordering anything online, but I was able to find a Timber Tweed Pencil skirt in a store via WWFIFY. I've already tried it on before so I know it'll be a winner. Plus, I was able to get the 40% off sale price--woot!

  8. Completely off-topic but has anyone seen the Summit Buckle ankle boots? I like them but it looks like the only closure is the buckle-straps. If the leather is poorly-made and the buckles break, the boots are ruined, right? So I'm wondering if anyone has tried them and finds the buckle-straps to be well made? Thanks!

  9. I can't wait until Final Sale is over again and rarely even check the section now.

  10. At the Syracuse B&M earlier today--the Candela jacket in a 10 and a dot flouncette in a 10, perfect condition as far as I could tell (having received two from the catalog with snags/holes, I was amazed). Still two luminosa puffer vests in the mossy oak in M. A couple boutonnieres in grey, in perhaps 2 and 6? A felted wool mini in ivory in 0. 40% off and FS.

  11. Looking to see if the new Waverly colors were online yet and all the old colors are on sale with the exception of sycamore, which is full price. That is really odd because the first pair I bought were the sycamore color, since they were marked down before all the others. Such wacky pricing games J.Crew! I will never figure it out. Sometimes I feel like I should get a piece of cheese at the checkout.

  12. xoxo that is completely bazaar. That had to have happened last night or this morning. They also have a hickory color in the store that is not available online and I need to get those. I believe they are full price in all colors in stores.

  13. Elizabeth, I like the sound of the hickory and other spring colors. Like you I really love the Waverlys and will add more colors to my closet as they roll out. I hardly ever wore chinos before these. They feel like I've had them forever and that they were tailored just for me. :^)

  14. I went to the store in Tysons Corner today, and this is what I saw:

    - dulphine bling-button cardigan (33966): lots and lots of concord grape! A few of the black pine left, and lots of the grey and black.

    - dulphine open cardigan (33968) in all colors, but especially TONS of mossy oak! The last thing I needed was another cardigan in a neutral color (albeit a lovely rich neutral), so I did not take a closer look.

    - lisette lace shell (33710): only saw these in black, but I saw a lot!

Sale items were an extra 40% off in store, so I scored the cheery concord dulphine bling-button for about $23, and the chambray/selvedge embellished shirt (the one with the little stripe of black sequins above the breast pocket) for about $11 after the promo.

    HTH!

  15. There was a big re-stock this morning. I picked up the pineapple punch swimsuit I've been lusting over for ages.

  16. Not sure if anyone's interested, but my store had a rack full of the gray Minnies (the ones with the zipper at the ankle) for $4.99 plus the extra 40% off. There was also one size 6 Lolli pant left at $79.99 + 40% off. Email me if you want the store info (mcullen7318 at gmail).
