J.Crew Email: 20% OFF and free shipping when you open a J.Crew Credit Card

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Ketan, who shared the following email from J.Crew this morning.

J.Crew is letting customers know about their latest promotion: Open a J.Crew Credit Card and get 20% off your first purchase and free shipping if it's an online purchase. This offer expires Thursday, 1/16/10. To apply online, click here.

Once again, it's interesting to note that J.Crew states "Offer does not apply toward branded merchandise" again.

On a different note: J.Crew is also offering free shipping (on $150+) with promo code SHIP150. This offer expires Tuesday, January 11, 2011. "Thanks!" to Amy (in this post) who let us know that she sees a different {& better!} offer on her J.Crew homepage: free shipping (on $100+) with promo code SHIP100. I see J.Crew is back to their old ways with different offers for different customers. Grrreat. ;)

Lastly, "thanks!" to many of you, including ShopWithM (in this post), who let us know the following news: the Final Sale section has been updated today! (Click here to shop online.)

What are your thoughts on the email? Do you think the perks are decent enough to sign up? If you are a current card holder, would you recommend signing up for other JCAs?

  4. There was 40% off all sale items at the Columbia Mall, MD today. They were final sale but at least I got to try them on first. I haven't been keeping up with online prices so I'm not sure if they were the same or not.

There was a Sunnie there in a size 0 (I think) if anyone is interested.
