JCA Code Exchange {Share/Exchange/Get}

"Thanks!" to Donna who came up with a great suggestion to have a dedicated post for JCAs exchanging/ sharing codes. This way it frees up the other posts to be on-topic and makes it much easier for those sharing/ looking for codes, to do just that.

To start this off, I want to give a big "thank you!" to Sonia, who has graciously offered the following five(!) 20% off orders of $150+ codes for Canadian JCAs. (Once used, please leave a note in the comments that the code is taken.) They are:

Lastly, I also want to say how amazingly generous the JCA community is. It really is lovely to see so many of you (like Sonia), sharing their perks with the rest of us (who may not have received the love from J.Crew).

    This is indeed a wonderful idea and a testament to the generosity in this community. But I'd love to see a more secure way of code sharing. I know it would mean more work - but if codes could be emailed out or be password protected or smth, it would help. I don't know what the best method is, frankly. Another extremely generous member shared her extra code with me over email. I am so grateful for that. But if people simply post the codes here in comments or otherwise, thy are definitely taken within minutes and without acknowledgement of their having been used. It just seems more frustrating if you're trying out several codes and none of them work. And I feel like there's a risk of the shopping website locking you out or cataloguing your attempts with invalid codes.... I have received absolutely no codes at all this year. I have no idea why, despite being a stalwart of the brand... The system does leave a lot to be desired.

      I agree. I know JCAs are on cell phones, time is limited, etc...but taking the extra step to share the code privately would help us all.

      Thanks so much, I got one! JCAs never cease to amaze me with their generosity! I'll make sure to pass the favor along someday! So, for the record, I posted my email and got a response in less than half an hour. So msybe instead of posting codes, we should post if you have or want one, then do the exchange privately?

    I agree with those asking that codes be shared privately, and I am also concerned that there will be backlash from J.Crew. They have not been happy in the past when JCA's have shared codes/discounts. We should be careful how we go about this.

      You're welcome. I hope you know that they are stackable. As long as it's not the same % off (i.e. 20% off and 20% off) you can stack the 20% with the 10% or any other code you may have.
