Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the FALL sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

    Apply the SHOPJCREW to outerwear before the promo prices flip at 11:59PST. I'm assuming they're going to go back up.

    Woo hooo! Just snapped up the majesty peacoat in Dublin green. Petite 4 was sold out, so hoping the 2 works. Also ordered the navy excursion vest. The prices are too good to pass up with the extra 25% off.

    Anyone else get the invitation clutch in printed calf hair during the last promo? Had to order it to see it, it's not in my local stores. I was unsure about the splurge & kinda hoped I wouldn't like it, especially the calf hair -- I feel bad enough buying leather, and calf hair seems worse, like fur. It is beautiful tho, and I'm tempted to keep it. Do I want this or five new sweaters?!

      Isn't leather just "calf hair" but with the hair removed? Or, isn't "calf hair" just leather with the hair left on? It all comes from the same place. Either way, the clutch is super cute! I would be very tempted to keep it, too!

      Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think calf hair comes from calves, so if you don't eat veal for ethical reasons, you wouldn't buy calf hair. That would be the difference with leather. Cows get to roam free and live to maturity before slaughter whearas veal calves are kept in indoor crates so they can't move and kept anemic so the veal meat is soft and light-colored.

    Went to my store to return an online order (Jayne T-strap flats) and got sucked into the sale - 25% off plus my 15% student discount was way too good to pass up. Bought a flannel button down and a Tippi heart me that's unfortunately too small, and since it was final sale, its up on eBay.

      I saw it at the 5th Avenue store but it was Friday so maybe it is gone now. They had many though so worth a try. HTH!

      I saw a few at the Columbus Circle NYC location on Sunday. I think they close at 9pm, hope you see this in time.

    justme, Keep the clothing. Since you mentioned it I totally agree...calf hair seems like fur to me too. I could never buy it w/out feeling guilty!

    I snapped up a pair of tortoise Cece's and the Jules in colorblock for $49.99 each on a trip to Chicago this weekend. It's so nice to visit bigger stores than my local one for a change!
