This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopped
by a J.Crew store this past weekend
to see what's available (if
anything!) in the FALL sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals
{sigh!} in person, maybe you
might be willing to
share that with us in this post. In
particular, if you could share
with us a few of the noteworthy items
that are available, at what
prices, and potential sizes the
store is carrying (as well as the
store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also, please
let us know if your local store
was/ is carrying an additional
percent off sale. Thanks in
advance!!! :)
Yes, I did visit. Emeryville had a size run of the A-line ponte dress that sold out at full price when it came out. More in-store price info:
ReplyDelete* Macalister high-heel ankle boots (review - $188 online vs $159.99 in-store.
* Mona patent pumps - Seen by a JCA for $69.99 in-store. Black and bisque (?).
* Origami sheath dress - $159.99 was last online price I saw. It's $109.99 in-store and I saw a good number of them. Try SF Westfield and Walnut Creek.
* Tartan flannel shirt $78 online vs $44.99 in-store. Nice heavier weight fabric.
My store had the black leather on sale as well for 69.99!
DeleteOh...and I was told a small batch of new arrivals this Tuesday and holiday to debut the last week of Oct.
ReplyDeleteYay, more arrivals..Thanks Gigi! Looking forward to seeing the Holiday merchandise..
DeleteI didn't go this weekend, but if new arrivals come in this week, I may visit to check them out.
ReplyDeleteThe 25% off $150+ promotion has been extended for another day online with code MONDAY. Promo-priced items (some of which have been marked down) are here on my blog.
Went this past weekend to the Yorkdale store b/c my mom wanted a few things. Large sale section but mostly larger sizes . She snagged the white jeans in the bootcut for $20, which was pretty good. I didn't buy anything. Going to go to the new Eaton's Centre store in a few days!
ReplyDeleteI tried on the factory schoolboy on a whim, and wow, I loved it. I have been anti-schoolboy for a while because of the boxiness and shortness, but the factory one is not boxy and it is not short. Also, they have a beautiful true camel color, not the gross brown color offered at regular J.Crew. It was tempting but I am just too cheap to pay over $100 for a blazer that I don't really need :) I sized up to an 8 and it fit perfectly. My normal suit jacket size is 6.
ReplyDeletePencil skirts and denim were 40% off, and the cute wool skimmer pants were also 40% off. There is a new glen plaid pencil skirt but it is extremely rough wool. Cute, though.
I also picked up the schoolboy in purple from the factory and was pleasantly surprised. The cut was super flattering and with all the instore promos and whatnot I was able to pick it up for about $100.
DeleteFYI if anyone lives in the Boston area, the Jcrew in the atrium mall in chestnut hill is moving to a different mall. All the sale stuff is an extra 50% off!! I went twice this weekend and snagged a bunch of great deals
ReplyDeleteI went this weekend for some early Christmas shopping - my sweet VPS set aside 2 Tillary purses for me as a surprise (they went quickly after the latest markdown - FWIW, in Canada, they are $39.99), also bought - 2 snake print scarves, navy tweed jacket, Blythe in retro jade & hen scarf (considering returning this, I find it really itchy).
ReplyDeleteUGH! Yes I visited the Factory AND the retail store this weekend to (twice) take advantage of STYLE25. I kept joking that I can't wait for the promo to be over and what does J Crew do? Extend it another day! LOL

i went to look for the wild side bangle (wide) because it is backordered online. not only found it, but it was on sale! whoop whoop!
