Lucky Posts a Shoe of J.Crew

Lucky (on Tumblr, click here) posted an image of a possible upcoming heel from J.Crew. It looks like a floral print, perhaps from Liberty?

Apparently it was taken "at J.Crew HQ". Does J.Crew have stands of upcoming merchandise on display like a museum? If so, amazing! How does one get a tour? (Could you imagine a group of JCAs, with Mickey as our tour guide?)

  1. Sign me up for that tour, Alexis. It would be fun. Cute shoes!

  2. Cute! That heel is a bit too high, but I love the print. And I want a tour too!

  4. Way too high to be practical, but the print is nice. Maybe on a flat...

  5. Are all of you into the pointed-toe non-platform shoes? I would love to have this in a slightly more rounded toe with a thin platform, but definitely won't do this style of shoe. I did pointed toes years ago and will never do them again. Also, no platform at all can be painful, you feel the full height of the heel and if you walk outside you feel every little lump and bump on the sidewalks!

J Crew, I bought a veritable sh*tload of shoes from you when you had platforms, but none since then. Do you really not want my shoe-buying dollars? :)

  6. I'm with Jeanne, this print would be lovely on a flat or a little strappy wedge. It's a liberty print, they are cute and pretty. A pointed stoe stiletto is sort of the opposite of that. The print and the shape don't match in my mind.

I would love the tour, but if ever there was one, I want silver lining to go. She can be our ambassador and tell them all the things they're doing wrong. She'd see the new ideas and be able to nip the bad ones in the bud!

  8. J.Crew had their Spring/Summer 12 Press Preview for editors this week, which is what I believe this photo is from. It was most likely taken in their PR Showroom at HQ, which is typically where press previews are held :)

  9. They look like a printed Everly. Beautiful car shoes but impossible to walk around in.

I love some of the 3 tone flats with the straps and one particular bag (it came in blue, black and tan/black) that looks nice, reminded me of that famous Celine handbag that was popular a few seasons ago.

  13. This floral would be perfect in a flat with a rounded or squared-off toe. Pointy toes never look good in a size 11. :-/
