This offer applies to the B&M stores as well. {yey!}I am thrilled that J.Crew is offering an "additional percent off" online. I thought for sure, there would be no more additional percent off sales (in the stores and definitely not online) until after the holidays- so it is a pleasant surprise to see this. I also do *not* see the words "final sale" printed anywhere either. {yey again!} :)
Incidentally, Ameilia (in this post) made a great observation that this offer could be J.Crew's promotion for Cyber Monday. :)

I think this is the "Cyber Monday" deal. I want to get the wool flannel dress but I hesitate because I have not been able to try it on - it looks very cute though.

Ameilia: The tulip coat is pretty. If you don't need a winter coat right away, I would suggest waiting a bit longer. I have a feeling the coats will get better in price. :)

Anon at 11:13 PM: From the fine print of the 25% off card, it can be used on regular and sale merchandise, but can't be combined with any other promo. However, from the comments made by many Aficionadas here, it sounds like the 25% card can indeed be used with the additional percent off in stores (which is great!) :)

Does anyone know what J.Crew's coupon code policy is? I've tried combining my student discount with a coupon code (for % off or free shipping), and am always told that J.Crew's policy is only one discount at a time. However, it seems like other people have been able to combine discounts. Am I missing something? It's extremely irritating because in some instances, had I known their policy I would have elected to skip the free shipping in favor of a % discount since it's worht more.

ReplyDeleteI'm typically a size 4 and I wear a 27 in Matchsticks. (according to J.Crew's size chart a 27 is equivalent to a 2). If you have Seven or COH jeans they are comparable in size. I find that the Matchsticks stretch out a little with wear, too. Hope this helps! I am so tempted to get another pair of matchsticks too...

Good eye Ameilia! This is a very generous Cyber Monday deal from J.Crew. I spent my 25% off card today and they stacked it with the extra 30% off sale items. So I paid about $150 for $300 worth of stuff! They did take my card from me though. The SA said there would be more specials from J.Crew in the weeks to come.

The JC customer service reps have been kind and are going to trace it (they say it left the warehouse, and it has a tracking number, but UPS's site still reads "billing information received" after 10 days in the system). It's truly odd.

Got two items...really like my light spearmint sweater but the Issy sweater jacket...not so nice...very thin for the price...I would not recommend it. It is going back. Not at all like the nicer, substantial JCrew jackets of the past. Just wanted to share so others have something to go on...if you want thin for warmer climates this might work for you but not for me:0

ReplyDeleteJust a quick review of the Nola - that is currently in the sale section - love it! The cashmere is not as soft as other JCrew cashmere, but it is also not itchy if that makes sense. It could be just that it is a denser/thicker sweater than other cashmere that I have. Both colors - navy and putty are not itchy - sometimes I find the darker colors can be itchier. The collar is beautiful, such a nice frame for the face. The buttons are plastic and do not hang down. It is tts and is fitted without being gross. HTH!

JCrew doesn't always update their site each day...it is rare that they don't but not every day guaranteed. Also, sometimes they update late at night instead...or even the middle of the night I have found when I am having an insomniac moment and all of a suddent the numbers go up...

She also said it is one time only. her explanation for not combining and I quote: "That would be just crazy if we allowed combining all these discounts". On a side note, the girl was so dumb.. she could not figure out that $75 without extra 30% off is worse that $99.99 with extra 30% off. Seriously, you are mean and dumb, you should not work at JCrew.
