Just got back from Madewell... unless you were looking for a sweater, don't bother. The big promo here is 40% off already reduced stuff. Most of the things already reduced are sweaters.
ReplyDeleteI went there the day before Thanksgiving and got an amazing pair of boots at a really great discount. They were originally $298, but I got them for $177 and change (incl tax). Plus, I am absolutely IN LOVE!
ReplyDeleteI should note that they didn't have any signage about the discount; I just found out about it from the salesgirl and at the register.
I had heard that Madewell was going to make its items available online, but so far I haven't seen that happen. Any word on when that will be available? I would love to be able to shop them too!

ReplyDeleteAnon - they said the website should be up sometime in spring '09. the date was pushed back to ensure the website issues were worked out.
I got the Heritage High Heel in "Monet", the brown color. I should also be clear that they were technically only 30% off. Apparently, I got another 15% off because I am a student. Either way, the discount was pretty much the icing on the cake to getting a great pair of boots. I can't wait to start wearing them in!
