J.Crew Email: Reminder About 30% Final Sale

J.Crew sent an email reminding us that the extra 30% off fall merchandise online ends tomorrow. I am sure there will be another email reminding us the same point that will be sent tomorrow too! ;)

Also, most J.Crew stores are offering an additional 50% off fall merchandise through this weekend. Happy Shopping! :)

  1. Did anyone notice they brought back "final sale" after they sent out that 30% off email?

They hardly have anything in their sale section.... I feel like they are going to replenish sale stock AFTER the 30% discount ends... mehh.

  2. I agree-totally. Nothing in the sale section but stuff they ar WILLING to give away with 30% off. I feel they play games with their inventory. They want us to keep placing separate sale orders. Also, they can make some extra money off of all of our separate order EXORBITANT shipping fees!!!

  3. The merchandise is pretty picked over in the Chicago stores -- although there seems to be quite a bit more available in the larger sizes (Ls and XLs, 10s and 12s). I ended up getting a tortoise bracelet (under $5), the silver crest t-shirt (~$8), and gold-wire wrapped hoops (~$15).

But, in better news, I notice that I have a shipping number for my plum peacoat (with thinsulate)! I was not convinced that I would ever get off the waitlist, especially since I got a great deal on it: $151 shipped before tax.

I feel like I am getting such good bargains, although my budget disagrees. :)

  4. Is anyone else experiencing problems accessing the "Sale" section on their website? I'm trying to pick up some nice sweaters for Christmas gifts, and I keep getting that blasted "be back soon" message. Grrr!

  8. Can anyone please help?

I stupidly? placed a presale/preorder last week. I also ordered other items at the time. Someone had to do this so the order can be tracked. This, however, is not true. The orders are placed seperately. My item became availabe yesterday. I emailed but no response and nothing is showing up on the order page. Yes, I could call but I live overseas...I emailed the lady who took my order as well as the regular contact us email address.

Has anyone had experience with presale orders? How does this work? Does it ever show up on your order page? Do you get a confirmation email that the order is placed?

    Just sign me,
Someone who will never place a presale order again

    Thank you for any help!

  9. FFM:

Final sale ended a few weeks ago on the websit. It will probably return after the holidays :(

Whenever, B&Ms offer an additional percentage off, it's always FS.

  10. anon @ 342pm: I have never had luck with a pre-sale order either. :) It normally requires me calling a lot to check the status, then finding out that they never placed an order for the pre-sale to become a sale and then either re-doing the order or giving up because it's sold out.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks Kara! I knew that Final Sale ended on the website but not in the store. Some have mentioned on here that Final Sale is actually back on the website, and that is my confusion, as I just don't see where it says that anywhere.

That is what I am afraid of....

    I guess if I don't get it...it wasn't meant to be...I don't feel like messing with it...

what poor business practices JCrew has...seriously, why advertise something that is not true and/or going to happen? I just don't get how this company functions???

  16. Anon @ 3:42 - Re. Pre-Sale.

On Monday, I placed an order for 2 pre-sale items. The person I dealt with gave me the impression she didn't know what she was doing but assured me that I would get my pre-sale item and that it would be packed and shipped to me the day the item became available to the public / Website. The item is now available on the website and my items still haven't been shipped.

I called the Pre-sale desk again today and was given an order number. But I cannot find that order number anywhere. I logged into my J Crew account and it's not there. I tried looking it up by the order # and the system can't find it. This is most frustrating.

Anon, I hear you loud and clear.

  22. Hey all,

Well, I’ve taken the plunge & placed an order using the 30% off on sale items. I called last night & was told that the “promotional” items did not qualify, only the ones ending in .99. I wasn’t so very keen to place my order right then. Luckily, when I called today, the CS rep said that everything on sale was included. Weird. Also, sometimes I can get my educator discount & sometimes not so much. This time ‘round it was an either – or situation & since she was including all of the items I wanted in the %30 offer, I wasn’t going to argue. It’s like playing retail roulette… I agree with other aficionada’s that this can be very frustrating. However, I think that I ended up with a good deal. My order included:
Petite Lady Day Coat #96915 Camel
    Jackie Cardigan #85613 Navy
    V neck tee # 97784 poppy & black
Rosette Belt #98098 grey & aqua

Thanks to Alexis & this wonderful site I was able to use the free shipping code. When it all totaled up at the end, I paid $290. That’s five items for the same price as 1 coat! I did a quick tally & would have been nearly $500 if I had paid full price for everything!

I’ll admit to feeling a bit giddy for getting such a great deal (& spending so much) on some lovely things. Still, it does feel a bit like booking travel plans. I often find myself asking; “Should I hold out for a better deal or buy now when they have what I want?” Also, why is it that the extraordinary sizes like petite, tall, & curvy ladies always have to order online & via the phone & pay the shipping penalty. Seems to me that if you don’t stock my size, it would be appropriate to save me a trip to a store phone & waive the shipping. Otherwise I may not buy something if I risk paying a shipping fee only to return it for sizing & fit issues. I tried to call a couple of B&M to see what there sales looked like, but they weren't terribly helpful. Of well, I probably would have bought something on sale & paid shipping anyway.

Thankfully, I opt for the codes provided here. Although I guess it could be considered enabling since I buy more than I did before I found y’all & your great suggestions (esp. FFM).

    Oh well, everyone has to have a vice I guess :}

    Thanks all,

    Heather:D

  23. Hi again,

I’m writing on a few threads today so please bear with me. I just picked up a few items @ %30 off online. I got a good deal, but I’m also interested to see what’s available at a B&M.

Mostly I’d like to see if anything is on the %50 sale rack as fellow aficionada’s have mentioned. Also hoping I can find some of the outwear in stock so I can get a feel for the pieces. I would really like to see any & all styles in the wool double cloth. I bought a Tulip coat last week (30% off seemed like a good deal – who knew hey would have an additional price break?) that I need to return. The coat fits well… I’m just not into the sleeve details. So, I’m hoping to get a Lady Day & would like to see the colour options. It’s a little easier to look for myself instead of getting tangled in one of those “Is it a blue- red or orange-red” conversations with the folks on the phone. That said, I spoke with a very helpful associate who gave me some measurements for comparisons. Hope they might prove useful to y’all:

    # 9795 Tulip P6
    Bust 37 Waist 33.5 Low hip 40.5
Shoulders 14.75 across Sleeve 30.62 center back to cuff

    #79205 Lady Day P6
    Bust 36.75 Low hip 40.5
Shoulders 14.75 across Sleeve 30.62 center back to cuff

    Reg6
    Bust 37 Low hip 42.5
Shoulders 15.75 across Sleeve 32 center back to cuff

    P8
    Bust 37.75 Low hip 42.5
Shoulders 15.5 across Sleeve 30.62 center back to cuff

    #96915 Plaza P6
    Bust 37 Waist 35 Low hip 42
Shoulders 15.25 across Sleeve 30.62 center back to cuff

I went & bought the Plaza in Camel as it seemed a good neutral. I plan on buying the Lady Day in Dark Poppy if it’s a good clear red & have Chocolate as my safety choice. Anyone have either the brown or red? Most of my clothes are pretty conservative colours; greys, blues, maroon, & dark green. I’m hoping the coat will make a good signature piece without going too far out of my comfort zone. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated!

    Thanks,

    HD

  25. Hi again, again,

Ummmm I'm not sure if this helps, but I found the Lilli cardigan for Anon 4:44. If you search the site for merino & select the women's section it pops up. Also found it by searching for #10567 it pops up. I know, that's a rather weird # for a ladies sweater. However, it works (for now) hopefully you'll be able to access the page.

    Hope that helps,

  26. Heather:D - i agree, it is annoying that those of us who wear the "non-regular" sizes have to order online. i wear a tall inseam and would love to be able to pick up pants in store, but since it's not available i think complementary shipping should be an option.

i find this annoying at all stores, though. ;) especially at gap, inc where they stock short inseams. it somehow seems unfair. if they're going to have shorts they should have talls too.

    anyway...

  29. My store still has 50% off, and I managed to grab a pair of penelope heels in the silver/gray/black combo for something like $68, and the abstract roses strapless dress for 38. LOTS of heels and boots and flats. Unfortunately, not many sweaters.

  36. Hmm. Am I missing something? I tried to use the code and it only works for some of the items in the fall sale. Plaza coat, 250.00; percent off, 0%. Blows =(

    ReplyDelete
  37. Kay, as others have mentioned in previous posts that 30% off only applied to sale items ending with .99. Sadly, J Crew didn't specify that on the sale page. I was informed of this when I placed an order on the red phone.
I like the Plaza coat too. I has misfortune of J Crew's mishandling my order. First time was a wrong size. Second time was a wrong color. I had to go back and order the third time and now the camel color that I want is on the waitlist :-(

  38. Just returned from the South Coast Plaza and Brea, CA store. SCP has absolutely nothing. The Brea store however, still had quite a few good items. Lots of the Dream Tunic Sweater, Lots of chino's, cords and jeans. A bunch of the Henley Tissue Tee's, V-neck Tissue Tee's and the Waffle French Terry Hood ($14.99 after 50%). A few wool blazers, wool Fiona jackets and cord jackets. The Houdstooth Bow Button Cardigan was marked at reg price but I told them it was on sale for $89.99 on the website and they honored it. Plus I got the 50% off of that.

    ReplyDelete
  39. maybe i'm just not very familiar with the J.crew search option. But you can type in "9.99" for example and so many more sale things come up that are not included if you just look at the sale pages. wow...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Brea always have a good sales selection and I've found their associates to be the friendliest of the LA area stores I frequented(Santa Monica, El Segundo, Century City, Grove, Pasadena, South Coast)

I think J Crew is having problem tagging their products with the right categories or something. If you type lili in the search the cardigan will show up.

Also, if you just check out the sales section it seems to be missing a lot of stuff. If you type in a more generic term in the search box like pant, dress, jacket, etc. you get a lot of sales stuff that doesn't even show up in the sales section.

  41. Anon@3:42 PM:
I totally agree with you. I had hold frustration every time J.Crew lost my orders, but today I finally got mad about J.Crew. I preordered Cascading flowers bouclé Astrid jacket in ivory size 0 two weeks before this item actually was sold. But today J.Crew called me up and I was informed that the item is no longer available…I placed the pre-order because I wanted to avoid this situation!!!

I don’t believe what CS told me because I checked the online inventory on 11/6 (inputting 99 in the quantity) and found that that there were 14 jackets available on 11/6. I don't understand why J.Crew sold jackets online before fulfilling pre-orders. I placed the order on 10/21 as soon as the jacket appeared on collection site, not one the day before the item is sold online. J.Crew should fulfill the orders first-come first-serve basis.

Why J.Crew accepted the orders more than they can supply? How can a retail company do business without knowing how many inventories they have? J.Crew should not accept the orders more than the supply.

Also, what made me upset was that CS did not apologize me. It is J.Crew’s fault because J.Crew could not fulfill the order which they agreed upon. J.Crew should apologize first and propose alternative way to fulfill the customers’ orders or compensate the customers’ losses. It is the same as double booking of airline tickets. J.Crew should compensate customers who had such a terrible experience.

    Mr. Millard Drexler:
Your customers were very unsatisfied about the terrible inventory management and the poor customer service. Please improve it so that your customers will not have to suffer with this bad experience anymore.

  42. Just as a X-mas warning, I just got off the phone with a rep who said there was still a disconnect between warehouse and online inventory. My madeline dress order was cancelled even though it shows online as having at least 10 available. She reordered the dress, but said I still may not receive it. BOO.

    ReplyDelete
  43. J.Crew girl in Canada

It was exactly same for me! Sales rep told me what that my pre-order item would be packed and shipped to me before the day the item became available on website. I did not get the confirmation email but did not worry about it so much because I believed what she told me. Today J.Crew informed me that the item in my size sold out. I asked her to re placed my order for the same item but in the different size and to offer 10% discount for this mess. Finally I got the confirmation email but it was really frustrating!!!

I hope that you will get the item soon!

  44. OT - I received Pembridge-dot pencil skirt in ivory today and consider returning it... It is really paper thin!!! Too thin to wear in Fall/Winter!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. anon 3:54 CS told me the reason why orders are being cancelled is the system only updates 3x a day, when the inventory is low and 10 people order for example, before the next update there is a good chance your order may be cancelled. This is not a system glitch it is way the system works. I don't know what happens when an order is called in.

In addition 2 CS told me the problems have been resolved, and I have received low inventory items when the order was placed on-line.

    94235 Martinique $21
    91941 Cherry blossom $28

  69. gigiofca - thank you for the link to your blog. I LOL when I read your Harriet description "more like a bathrobe" and then saw it IRL. It definitely is not a flattering coat. I will pass on it as there are other JCrew coats that have also caught my eye, like the Astor and Marie coats.

    ReplyDelete
  70. ceecee: Have you considered ordering it in Petite? They have more sizes available in it than in regular. Are you able to wear petites?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hi FFM! Unfortunately, I have a long torso so I don't think the Petite would work(?). I am 5'7''. I could do a size 2(which is avail) but I think the shoulders would be tight.I love the plum color.

    ReplyDelete
  72. ceecee: I would suggest you call and ask for measurements on the Petite, especially length on the body and sleeves. I'm sure the models are at least 5'7", and the jacket is meant to be cropped anyways, even on the sleeves. You could also ask for shoulder measurements on the size 2 regular, as well. :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Petites are for people 5'4 and under. Being 5'7 would make the jacket too short in length.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Agreed that Petites are for women 5'4" and under, however...the jacket is meant to be very cropped if worn like the model in the pic on the website...if there is only an inch difference in length between regular and petite, it would be worth trying. That's why the suggestion to call for exact measurments was made...it doesn't hurt to ask for specifics to know for sure. :)

  83. All - I was at the Collection store today. They have the most amazing coat! It is the same popping pink color and possibly material of that new blazer with the droopy flower. The coat looks to be a little a-line, kind of retro. The killer detail though is a tie around the neck. Not like the Carrie coat, more like the dream tie-neck cardi. It is gorgeous. Also got to see the golden roses jacket in person. TO DIE FOR!!! This is now a definite wish lister for me. That gold beaded cami was also there, very holiday. The studio ball skirt is amazing in person. Such a gorgeous piece. Also - after going to a few stores today. I think anyone looking for something festive but not too dressy CAN NOT go wrong with the metallic Vita Cami and the Dream Simone sweater. They are just a fantastic combo.

  85. Hi!

I did it! I sprang for the Tulip Double-cloth coat in black for $161!! Does anyone have this coat? How does it fit? I also bought the shell whisper lame shirt for cheap! I am excited about the possiblities...
    Comments/opinions?

    Thanks!

  86. Great price on the tulip coat. I just bought on myself, but not at not as a great price. I love how feminine the coat looks!! It also is roomy enough in shoulders and sleeves to accommodate some layers.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Anon @ November 8, 2008 11:12 PM: Well, I knew a few people who've bought the coat & they all love it. I thought that it had the effect of slimming people's figures. That's my opinion anyway.

  88. Hey Jen--I totally agree with your comment about the Vita Cami. I purchased it in the navy today and ordered the Simone Dream cardigan in navy too. If you have broad shoulders, this sleeveless number is so flattering! Its NOT TTS, but it is fitted. I take an 8 in fitted button-ups, but purchased a 6 in the VIta.

It does not have a side zipper, so for those of you at the small or petite end of the scale, this one can be tailored easily!!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Jeff--You are correct. I think the tulip helps extenuate a waist and create very flattering curves.

    ReplyDelete
  90. does anyone know if there's a significant difference between a regular size and the petite sizing? if i go by the website's sizing charts, i should be a 0, but every 0 i try on at the store falls right off.

    thanks :)

  91. I plan on writing to Mickey directly and telling him of the preorder problems on collection pieces...I mean really. If JCrew is trying to go upscale do you think customers who are treated poorly will be coming back if their collection pieces are not sold to them as promised in preorders? Customers who spend any amount deserve good service but people who buy high end goods tend to expect higher quality service. JCrew's service is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I know when I am looking for a $425 jacket I won't be looking at JCrew anymore!

  98. Quick question: are the Crackle Mary Janes onsale in-store? Can anyone please share with me which B&M?

  99. I've been wondering when J.Crew was going to correct the image of the Aubrey Jacket--it does not come with the third button, only buttons at collar. I noticed this morning that the third button has been "erased" from the image. But if click the image to view it closer, the button reappears! Given all of J.Crew's web issues in recent months, this one sort of cracks me up.

  100. anyone seen cashmere sequin cardigan at a store?

  101. Can anyone tell me if the Marie coat is TTS? The sleeves look like they could be a little tight, just by looking at the picture of the model online. I don't have large arms, but I hate tight sleeves. TIA

  102. Thanks to Jeff and others for comments on the tulip coat!! I am even more excited now! I feel confident about the purchase. I almost didn't do it because all that I have purchased, but this is an investment, right? ;)

  103. I have the Vita cami and am totally in love with it! I have it in the metallic silver color and it is just beautiful.

Thanks all who gave me updates on the Astrid Boucle in Bright Berry. I emailed them and asked if they could send it to me in a size 2 (the size 0 was cancelled) and they had around 50 available at the time (I am not, however, holding my breath on this one!)

  104. anon at 12:45am - Have you been to the Brea mall JC recently? I was going to head up there today to check out their sale section, and was just wondering if you thought it was worth it (as opposed to South Coast Plaza). Thanks!

  105. those who have been to the collectino store... i was there a week ago and saw this sweater... it was a v neck cardigan with big crystal looking clear buttons. the colors i saw were neutral colors, i need a black cardigan, and now i wish i had looked to see if they had it in black! if anyone is going there could they see if they still have it and the item number? and if it is available in black? i'm also curious to see what material it is made out of, but coming from the collection store, i'm hoping its 100% cashmere
    thanks so much!

  106. Does anyone have the measurments for the Berry Astrid, size 4? Or what thread I could refer to to find the measurments? Thank you for your help ladies and gentlemen!

  107. Anonymous @ 12:08 PM - You can call J Crew online for the Astrid measurements.

  108. i'm anon at 12:07, to clarify it is NOT the merino featherweight glass button cardigan... these buttons were really big, and the edges were cut like jewels. i searched online and it isn't there, if anyone could keep a lookout i'd appreciate it! thanks again!

  109. Anon 12:07,

Wouldn't it be easier and quicker to just call the collection store and ask yourself? Their number is 212-249-3869.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Anon at 11:45AM - I went after voting on Tuesday and they have a ton of stuff, as their sales section is basically 1/4 of the store. But I don't know how picked over they are by now. So mostly jackets, tops, bright colored matchstick cords, tons of the dream tie sash cardigan, etc. Not a lot of skirts.

  111. Too bad I missed the 30% on the tulip coat, hopefully it will come back sometime soon. At least, in the meantime I have my Royal violet double cloth lady coat.

  112. Hi guys! I am looking for the metallic giraffe day coat in a size 8. When it first went on sale, I didn't think much of it. However, the other day, I saw someone wearing it and it looked absolutely stunning. If anyone has one and is interested in selling, please let me know. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  113. I love my black Tulip coat--so flattering, slimming and just beautiful. I wore same size I have been wearing in J Crew blazers (a sz 2) but this is not my size in other brand clothing (sz 4) I am not sure how warm it will really be for Midwest winter but certainly nice layered with sweater and just so classy looking. Hope you enjoy yours!!

    For those inquiring...
The bright berry boucle jacket in hot pink/neon pink is available in many stores.I cannot see how this would be hard to locate as it is the one with the floppy flower, correct? Not too many people are loving that flower. The flower actually looks a lot better in the catalog but I do not know how they got it that way. It looks like they used some other flower IMO and the actual jacket does not look the same. LOVE the jacket though--it is darling, fits great--very Chanel! Prob would take the flower off and put another one on or maybe broach etc. Do give a review when you receive it:)

  114. OT question -- does anyone know if Banana Republic's donate a coat/get 30% off promotion is still in effect?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Has anyone ever ordered shoes on ebay? You know, the ones that are apparently factory seconds and have been marked to prevent returns. Also, where would one go to actually buy these? Is there some huge J. Crew warehouse somewhere???

    ReplyDelete
  116. An associate in San Francisco on another blog stated that if you use the red phone in a store to order it counts as an online order and only 30% applies NOT the 50% off going on in stores.

  118. roxy, the BR 30% promotion ended in October. You can use the coupon code CELEBRATE to get 20% off an online order of $125 or more.

    ReplyDelete
  119. The online sale section has dwindled to practically nothing. I hope that once the 30/50% off ends today they add new marked down merchandise. (The extra % off is probably to clear out really old stuff). There is still plenty of stuff from September that has not been marked down yet.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Cass,

If you search by keyword or by item number you can find lots more sale stuff online. Someone posted yesterday morning with item numbers of cafe capris from the summer that are still in stock on the site even though haven't been listed on the sale pages for ages.

It's also fun to type in a color ("honey glaze") and search. All the search results come up pictured in that color.

    ReplyDelete
  121. The word from my B&M was that new markdowns are supposed to happen tomorrow, so maybe this will be reflected online as well.

Anon 2:21, most of my JC shoes were purchased on eBay - most of the sellers are in VA, probably near the distribution center. I've read that people have gotten some deals on items at the store attached to the DC, which I'm guessing is where the shoes come from. You can get some really good shoe deals on eBay! I got a pair of brand new black Rivington boots for $70, for example.

  122. to the response about my sweater request. i am now overseas so it would be quite expensive to call and find out. and the last two times i have called the collection store to ask something, they hung up on me both times, requiring me to call back. it's always so loud in there and it's quite hard to hear. so if you don't want to help, don't, i was just politely asking if someone who had gone or is going to notice it, that would be great, that's all. thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I was at Brea yesterday and they still had a lot of stuff on sale - lots of jeans and chinos, university pants, vneck tops, herringbone fionas, belle skirts in rhubarb and blue and abstract rose print skirts. Same with the El Segundo store.

Surprisingly I didn't buy anything b/c I've already purchased the things I wanted on previous visits. The Nordstrom at Brea is having awesome sales! Tons of handbags and shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I think the shoes on ebay are actually customer returns.

Just got back from Copley - managed to get the purple super 120s dress, orange juliet midheels, and tuxedo stripe pants (which will never be seen on me outside the house!) for just under $100. Not bad! They had tons of sketchbook roses skirts and lots of yellow shoes in various styles.

    ReplyDelete
  125. El Segundo store had lots of stuff in orange (no surprise), luxe knit tops and the femme cashmere sweater in heather plum in their sale section. 50% off.

    ReplyDelete
  126. to a.

how much was the 120s dress? and were there any 6.5 in heels at the copley store?

i bought the 120s dress for full price, i wonder if i can get a price adjustment...

  127. Silver Lining- Thanks! There are lots of shoes on ebay that look OK and are like half the price! I just wanted to know if they are trustworthy. Sounds good to me!

I'm the only one who responded to you and I politely gave you the store phone number. Sorry that qualifies as "if you don't want to help". I live 1,000 miles from the store so that is the best I can do for you. How am I supposed to know you are overseas? You left that out of your initial posts.

I too live overseas and make lots of phone calls to stores myself and online call centers as well....Many times I get disconnected and so many times I have had to call about problem orders...It is just what needs to be done if you live overseas and really want something from JCrew. I have really had to pick and choose what items I really want/need from JCrew and decide if it is worth the hassle and costs...just my two cents worth...most people do what they can to help on this blog and I appreciate any bit:) Hope you can find what you are looking for:) Cheers:)

  134. Hi everyone,
I'm a recent addict to this site, and as I went to the B&M at the Grove in Los Angeles today I thought I'd mention a few items that I often see mentioned here. They are doing the 50% off sale at the Grove. (Prices listed are the current sale price, not the 1/2 off price)

    Bright blue berry-trim Astrid in size 8 - 179.99
    Abstract Rose strapless dress: 2 in size 12, 1 in size 6 - 89.99
Lydia halter in Orange and a pink shade -- don't see the shade listed on the jcrew site, but it's definitely pink, not plum.
Watercolor Madison dress (blue, vneck), size 4 - 139.99

The phone number at the Grove is: 323 939 1070. I hope this helps someone!

    ReplyDelete
  135. suilove, the 120s dress was $79.99 minus 50%, so just under $40 total (I got the last one - it looked like a return). I don't recall what they had in the way of smaller shoes (I have big feet!) but there seemed to be a lot of 7s and 8s. I got the last pair of orange juliets, but they had many pairs of yellow juliets and perfect flats and a couple lulus. I suppose it's a bit moot at this point as I think they're already closed for the day...

  138. In case you're only on this thread...

Hi ladies, sorry this is a little late, but got to my B&M today (San Diego). Here's what I could find:

For anon on 11/7 @4:32am - they had mint tissue turtleneck in L on promo for $29.50

For FFM - couldn't remember what size you wanted in tissue t-neck, but my store had tons in all colors

For covert5- my store had a pair of serengeti peep-toes returned (they are amazing btw), so I got to try them on. I'd say they run TTS or a little big (I'm a 7 or 7.5 and would have needed the 7). They were an 8 if any one is interested!

Not sure who asked, but Poppy Juliets were not on sale in my store. Neither were almond, driftwood or black.

Also, I was told for the first time today that JC will not do a "we'll find it" on sale items. Weird, since I've already done two this weekend...

Hope this info, albeit late, helps you ladies!

  139. Overseas person- maybe the store hung up on you because you were rude to them. I've called the collection store many times and was always treated with respect.

So in that case, try not to be a pill. And for asking this board for help, then denying them of any gratitude is just plain wrong.

  140. Anon, 10:50, I totally agree. This lady named Julie from UK keeps emailing me trying to get me to buy her jcrew clothing (cords, skirts, everything) and ship it to her, but has some strange payment terms, then disappears. I'd steer clear of her, she seems a bit shady.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Chicago Princess,

OH MY!!! how weird. My name is Julie and I live in the UK but I have not offered to sell anyone anything. I keep all my JCrew stuff and love it:) and if something doesn't work it goes to my sister in Chicago!!! (She loves me for that...she can't afford JCrew clothes right now...)

I will have to post using an initial too or something b/c that is just really strange.
