Floral Astrid Jacket: Not Exactly "As Shown"

Floral-ruffle Astrid jacket

Item 96281
Regular: $285.00

A big "thank you!" to Julie (who is Anonymous at 12:27 PM in the "Accessories Catalog: J.Crew Indulgences" post) who let us know that the Floral ruffle Astrid jacket does not come with the trim around the cuffs. ("Thanks!" to Kater, in the "J.Crew's Fall Looks For Women {Do you like?}" post, and Natedac who let us know that there was no trim around the cuff of this jacket as well.)

Julie was also kind to share with us the email J.Crew sent her in regards to this jacket:

We looked into this for you and the item does not come with the trim around the cuffs, but does have the trim as pictured on the front of the jacket. Some items are modified before they go to production to be put on the market and in this instance this is the case. We do apologize for the inconveniences.

If we can be of further assistance, please let us know by responding to this email at contactus@jcrew.com or calling a J.Crew Associate at 1-800-562-0258.

There had been some confusion about this jacket, which is completely understandable since the images on J.Crew's website clearly shows the jacket with the trim around the cuff. However, the trim around the cuff (or lack thereof) is an important detail for consumers to consider before ordering the jacket- so I am surprised that J.Crew let these images (of the wrong version) remain on their website.

What are your thoughts on the Floral Astrid Jacket? Do you like the jacket with or without the trim around the cuffs? Did you purchase this jacket not knowing about the cuffs/trim?

  1. I thought that this jacket was super cute online but when I saw it in the store I really did not like it... The ruffles look to be the liberty print fabric and don't seem to flow well with the fabric of the jacket- it just seemed to be a mis-match to me. I much prefer the Berry Astrid and the Lucille for the $$

  2. I ordered it & was very disappointed to see there were no cuff ruffles… & the ruffles on the pockets don't seem as full in person. It is going back! I cannot justify the price tag. Would definitely get it if it goes on sale, though.

  3. This was my favorite new fall item; when I found out it did not have the trim on the cuffs I ordered the purple astrid instead.

catherine, Good to know you would consider it though on sale....it would have to be a super sale though for me for it's high price tag.

I am just surprised the picture has not been changed. Is this false adverstising?

  4. I would be annoyed if the (expensive) jacket I received did not look like the picture in the catalog. Thank goodness it can be returned--although if you didn't live near a b&m store, returning it would be even more irritating (not to mention the added expense) than receiving something that didn't look like the picture.

  5. I did get the jacket, and actually did not even notice that there was a difference (further proof that I order waaaaay too much...LOL). The color is beautiful, and I love the way it fits (not boxy at all). The ruffles (which are the liberty fabric) were VERY flat and lifeless after being in a box and the price tag is entirely too high (even with my 20% off). I was actually glad that mine didn't have ruffle at the cuff since I never, never try to draw attention to my arms as they are long and super skinny! LOL. I still have not decided if I will keep it or not although I am leaning more toward "not" due to the high price tag.

  6. it's false advertising!! you're not getting what is shown to you. I also noticied this with the Madras Clea tanl- the photo onlinw clearly shows navy blue piping around the neckline, but IRL the tank does not have navy blue piping. They really need someone to EDIT thei images before they are loaded online!
really, the website is getting worse!

  8. If JCrew knows they are marketing merchandise on the website (to customers who are purchasing based on the photo JCrew is providing) and they know the item has changed, they should offer free shipping and returns for that item. They are not sending you the merchandise you believed to have been purchasing online.

OT, I placed three orders yesterday, one with the 25$ coupon that worked, two others from Final Sale and the EXTRA20 was reflected on the check out page but NOT in my email confirmations.

  9. Can anyone review the
    Merino lady jacket Item 96538
? I was considering ordering the charcoal black color. The description states "Midweight mercerized merino wool in a 5-gauge knit." I'm wondering if it is soft or itchy. Thanks!

  10. Once I ordered a gold necklace that was described as gold like five times-the title was "gold necklace," the description stated that it was "gold plated," gold chain with gold pailletes, etc. When I got it, it looked awful, so I e-mailed customer service and asked if it was 14k gold plated, etc. since the description didn't specify. I got an e-mail back saying that it was actually not gold at all, but a type of "gold tinted metal" to give the appearance of gold. Ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Totally OT, but I got a notice today that my Owen Hobo is on its way. WTF??? I ordered that ages ago, was told that the entire order was missing, most certainly spent the money on something else, and now here it is! BTW, I never get delivery confirmations (well, not since the upgrade) but did for this. I am totally confused!

  12. I was interested in purchasing this jacket, but without the trim on the cuffs, the extra little flair is missing. I have not seen the actual jacket, sans cuff trim, but I would think that the jacket looks a bit out of balance without it!

Given what we know now, I'd definitely have to see it in person before buying it.

  13. You can see a picture of the jacket without the trim on ebay. I don't care for it at all..."out of balance" is a good way to describe it.

I love it with the trim on the cuffs....but guess I am out of luck:(

    ReplyDelete
  14. When I saw this in-store, I didn't even notice there wasn't any ruffle trim on the cuffs! I did think the ruffles looked a bit sad, more like ripped fabric sewn on top of each other... like Liberty print remnants.

  16. WHO CARES?!!! Why is this damn blog all about complaints?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think that the ruffles look sort of "sad" as well. They were certainly not crisp and, for lack of a better description, ruffled (!!!) when I got mine (and subsequently sent it back). I didn't even notice the arm ruffles were missing (which didn't matter to me since I wear bracelets anyway).

  18. Anon@ 8:39am,

So, you are a proponent of false and/or lazy advertising? Just checking.

The majority of us have very positive things to say about jcrew, but just because we are fans doesn't mean we can't offer constructive criticism and express our frustrations when we see fit.

  19. I'm guessing this jacket is marching band inspired.

  20. anon @ 7:43: I have the merino Lady Jacket in charcoal and am very happy with it. I don't think the material is itchy. It's a good mid-weight sweater that I have dressed up and down. I think it's hard to tell from the photo but the trim is black and the rest is a true charcoal so the contrast is a nice touch. I found the sleeves a bit long so was able to size down comfortably since it has a bit of stretch to it. My husband even said he liked it. (And that's HUGE). :) Hope this helps!

    ReplyDelete
  21. This is very typical for J Crew and happens at least once a season on things I order.

I ordered the chambray full skirt when it was backordered in the spring and after waiting patiently for 2 months for it, found it was at least three inches shorter than it was pictured when it arrived. It came below the knee on the model (who I would guess is taller than my 5'4") and just touched my knee IRL.

However, I have the same issue with BR and AT also. They often have minor difference in their production model clothing.

    ReplyDelete
  22. What are your thoughts on the trim? Do you think it will still look as fashionable in two to three years? I think I try not to get jackets with distinctive markings like this because I worry that it will look too dated in a few years. Also, I'm a conservative dresser by habit, too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Off topic, but can we talk about the Madewell stores, for those of you who have had the opportunity to visit? I stopped by the Atlanta store yesterday and was not impressed. Maybe I'm too old or not hip enough...but I just didn't "get" the colored jeans! And I thought their brand was supposed to be more affordable than J. Crew. All the jeans I saw were $99-120! I think that some of their clothing, objectively, is cute, but I guess I was just taken aback because it wasn't my style, and seemed so expensive for how casual and plain it was! What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I saw this in the store without the sleeve ruffles and was really disappointed. As others have said, it just loses its special touch without them...So I've held off. If it goes on super sale though, which I'm thinking it will because of this issue, I might get it. But that's a big might...:)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anon- I found the Merino Jacket to be very itch IRL. Overall I was not impressed.

Jcrewmamma- I am digging your new name. We totally need more fashionista social workers out there!

Overall, I am not impressed that Jcrew couldn't or wouldn't redo this photo shoot to make sure they represent their items accurately.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anon @ 7:43--I tried on the merino lady jacket in the store and was not impressed. I thought the knitting gauge was too big--made it look chunkier than it appears on the website. It reminded me more of the beach sweaters jcrew sells. Overall, I didn't think it looked high quality. I saw the grey one--I wanted to see the white, but my store didn't have it.
It is not something I would wear to the office, which is what I was looking for.

However, it didn't seem itchy to me either.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'll pass without the ruffle sleeves.

    Melanie-
IMO: I find things from J Crew really do not go out of style--this jacket is a classic such as Chanel. The only thing that changes with jackets is lapel size (which this doesn't have) and shoulder pads. Seems designers are really keeping them simple and small anymore. I have to wonder if they are ever going to be BIG again as in the 80's -sure as HELL hope not:)
I think a lot of people will grab this on sale but probably be less impressed when they receive it at full price as others have mentioned.

  28. ANON-merino lady jacket

Good luck getting it from sale. Nothing comes from Final Sale-it's a figment of their imagination and they have no business having a website with sale items right now.
Full price seems to be working fine but sale NO WAY! Sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  29. They did the same thing with the Spring Look Book. The paper poplin rain coat that the model was wearing was green but in actual production they only offered azalea, navy, khaki and sour lemon.

  30. WAY off topic, but looking for fit advice for City Fity Ellie Chino vs. Favorite Fit Chino- I find the favorite fit stretches a LOT after 10 minutes of wear, so I buy down a size. Does anyone find the same thing happens with the City Fit Ellie Chino or does this pant fit (and wear) true to size? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I definitely feel like this picture is false advertising!! This is not a 'little' mistake!! I personally LOVE the ruffles on the sleeves and would be very upset if I paid full price for the jacket and didn't get the full detail shown in the picture!! I'm no expert, but they could probably just airbrush the sleeve ruffles out of their picture! Come on J Crew!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. O/T : Does anyone know how the City Surplus Chinos fit?

  33. anon@ 9:52--I have gotten about 90% of the many sale items I have ordered over the past 3 months. I think it is luck of the draw.

  35. My store had the merino sweater in the gray. I loved the color and the contrast trim. I thought it felt very soft. However, I would have called it heavy weight instead of mid-weight and it did not think it looked very finished. The weave was a little bit loose and the seams looked poorly sewn.

  37. kitsmommy---I experience the same thing! I have that chamray skirt and thought it would be knee-length, based on the picture and the usual height of model's used. When I got it and put it on it was well above my knee. I won't bend over in it for sure! I am 5'8". I kept it as I have lost some weight so it now sits about an inch lower. However, I only wear it on weekends of to work on a Friday.

I had the same experience with the Sara jersey dress. It is definitely a few inches shorter than pictured or described.

Perhaps J.Crew should consistently put skirt length measurements in their descriptions; sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I know Anthro does and as a consequence I do not buy a skirt that is less than 21" long. Saying something is "knee-length" is not always the most helpful.

  39. Anon 10:19

I have not gotten ANY of the sale things ordered the last 10 days.

Melanie: I think it's prudent to call in and ask the CS rep to tell you how many are actually available so that you are not disappointed if it is cancelled. If she says there are 14 showing--then there is a slight chance but say 4--not so much. In many cases there were not ANY when I went through my multitude of style numbers (by now it is prob close to at least 50 items). I am STILL waiting on many items that seem impossible to get (seem to old to be true ie katie swtr jkt.) and so I will be in SHOCK if they actually ship.
Anyone notice that their orders with canceled items are showing up with a tracking number in the confirmation of shipping email. Like a list of all the items ordered with a tracking number next to each one even if the item is shown canceled next to it?? Kinda strange.

  40. I think I must be one of the very few who prefer the idea of this jacket sans wrist ruffles. My initial thoughts upon seeing it online were, "gorgeous, so Chanel, I want it!", then I looked a little closer "aw, why'd they have to Charo-up the wrists?". I also don't see this being suitable for the boob-tastic, which means that though I love it in concept, I won't be buying it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. about the merino lady jacket -- the wool was very soft, and I'm pretty sensitive to itchy wool.

but . . . the placement of the two top pockets is awkward. They hit right at my breast level and looked like little pads. I suppose if you're A cup or B- it might look really good.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Am I the only one who thinks this jacket is super ugly with or without the ruffles on the sleeves? I also can't believe somebody thought of asking if its a classic piece (and somebody confirming that it is!) With all the choices at jcrew this is probably the last one I would even consider. IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I love this jacket in the picture...very classic cute and style. I just wish it was like the picture! I really like the added touch on the sleeves...if anything I wish the upper pockets were plain! (with just ruffles on the bottom pocket area)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Anon @ 1118: I will agree with your statement. :) I don't like either the berry or the floral astrid, actually, both of which were described as Chanel-esque. So I am thinking Chanel is not for me. :) I'm sure it looks fabulous on others but I don't think it is for me.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The ruffles look like strawberry cool-whip...

  46. Hi everyone! Thanks for the interest. I sent emails with pics and descriptions to all that asked. I'm also willing to negotiate on any of the prices.

  47. sorry this is OT, but has anyone tried on the new dream soho dress? i have been eeying it for awhile and finally took the plunge, the eggplant color in my size (XS) was sold out, then wait listed, then sold out again, i should be expecting mine mid to end of this month, hopefully i will love it. while i loved the fit of the samantha dress last year the blend was really coarse and itchy...any reviews on the soho sweater dress would be greatly appreciated.

    ReplyDelete
  48. You know what irritates me, apart from false advertising etc? It's how the prices on the website are so much more expensive than the B&M ones, and on top of that, we have to pay shipping. I mean, what's the logic? And isn't running a B&M store so much costlier than just running a website? It really annoys the crap out of me, and especially now when the sizes don't even make sense anymore. This vanity sizing thing is so annoying -- I tried on the dream cable sweater yesterday in XS and it looked like a purple garbage bag on me. The mini wool felt skirt in Size ZERO was falling off my butt.

So I have no choice but to order stuff online, and it just really makes me angry that J.Crew overcharges on the website, make sizes all wonky and assumes that their customer base is made up entirely of fat, rich women.

So why am I still buying from them? Because they make such PRETTY clothes. Dammit!

    ReplyDelete
  49. konsour: I share your opinion, when I read what other posters are paying for things compared to the web, it makes me not want buy until it goes on sale, since the closest store to me is 3.5 hrs away. I hate getting ripped off!

    ReplyDelete
  50. The Konosur and others -

I must have missed something - what items costs more online than at retail? If you have to pay for shipping anyway, why not call the retail store and have them do a send/ship, if the prices are lower?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Anon@3.18pm

I don't think they do a free shipping to store anymore. But either way, you still have to pay for shipping. You can call customer service to verify the price in-store and they'll honor it but it's really a HUGE hassle.

For example the cord skirts and the cord pants are on a promotion in store at $59.50 and $69.50 but it's full price online. Also the ecole jackets are 25% off, and they have some other things on "promotion".

I know there's a free shipping code for $150+ but what if I wanted just one pair of pants in petite? I won't be able to get free shipping, and I'd be ripped off. I think it's highly unfair and honestly a little disturbing: Sorry you're too small for our clothes and therefore we need to overcharge you.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The Konosur: you get free shipping formt eh red phone if and only if you are buying full priced items

    ReplyDelete
  53. anon: Stores don't ship outside of the US. Dream Tie Cardigan, cord skirt, french terry boatneck to name a few.

The point is if the item goes on sale in the stores, the website should have a similar markdown.

    ReplyDelete
  54. blumre: So what's the point then of ordering through the redphone?

I'm sorry I'm coming off in the worse way possible and I'm half expecting another Anon poster to come along and say we're a "blog of whiners (heh heh heh)" but! I just needed to vent about sizing and the unfairness of online purchases.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well Konosur: If you are ordering FP the shipping can be almost 20 bucks.... so that is a thought. I really couldn't tell you otherwise. I'm don't work for J.Crew I was just answering a question/correcting your statement that I knew the answer to.

    ReplyDelete
  56. whoops! "I'm don't" should just simply read "I don't"

    ReplyDelete
  57. blumre: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off snarky - I'm annoyed at the establishment. I don't think I've ever seen anyone used the red phone ever though for the many times I've been to J.Crew!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I am seething:
That order I placed online on Friday? The one I talked about in the "Final Sale" post? Yeah, that one. IT WAS CANCELED! I'm so over J Crew. Done.

    ReplyDelete
  59. J Crew is a business. Not a soup kitchen. Not a charity organization. They sell something. If you want it, you buy it. If you don't like the conditions of sale - don't buy it-no one is forcing you. J Crew clothing is not a life neccesity. It is not food, nor is it shelter. It is not oxygen, it is not life saving medication. Pretty clothes are a luxury item-not a need. Don't like it? Shop somewhere else. It's simple.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I stopped by a store today but didn't have much time. I only scanned the sale section, and did see clusters of the ecole both in velvet and herringbone. I think it's very interesting J.Crew has already marked its self-titled "it" jacket down - I certainly don't recall any such promotions with the Bellas last year. Even accounting for a tougher overall economic climate, to me this is still an indicator that J.Crew missed the mark with what was supposed to be its marquee autumn jacket.

I do think the Fiona herringbones look really chic, but I haven't tried one on yet because I have three herringbone bellas and so won't even flirt with a fiona unless I trip over one after a couple of markdowns :-)

Regarding the Astrid, it seems J.Crew could have avoided a lot of grief by using a photo of the jacket being sold. If nothing else, just photoshop the ruffles out of the picture with the model.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Anon@4.14pm: I'm not complaining because of the high prices neither do I expect J.Crew to dish out their clothes for free, all I'm asking is for some sort of standardization between the online and brick-and-mortar stores, I don't see how that is expecting too much or assuming that J.Crew is a soup kitchen in your words.
For the prices we're paying, I'd be expecting a 3-course Italian and not watery grub at the so called soup kitchen.

It's not about whether it's a necessity or luxury, it's about consumer confidence and interest, that's the only argument here.

    ReplyDelete
  62. La Belle Helene: The Fiona herringbone is really lovely, I think it's super feminine and really chic, and if I'm not mistaken, there's some sort of a discount on it in the B&M stores.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Thanks, Konosur. I've been holding off on trying one on because I don't want to be tempted just yet, but if they're also on promo, maybe it's time :-)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Gee Konosur, so whomever is bigger than a j.crew size 0 (i.e. it doesn't fall off them) is FAT? I guess I better start starving myself then.

Have some sensitivity for different body types. Just as I'm sure you are frustrated with how some items are too large on you, women who happen to have curvy hips/chests might be frustrated about things being *too small* on them. You can always buy something and have it taken in. If an article of clothing is too tight, that's not an option.

  66. Anon at 6:43 AM: Congrats on the getting the Astrid jacket! :) I am sorry to hear that the ruffles arrived flat. Hopefully you were able to pouf them back up. :)

BGD: Great catch- I didn't realize the Madras Cela Tank isn't like the image online either.

jcrewjunkie: Congrats on getting the Owen Hobo!!! Although not knowing about the status of the order after it went missing seems a bit sloppy on J.Crew's part. Let us know how you like the bag once you receive it. :)

Venice4504: I am sorry to hear about your order being canceled. :(

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anonymous - I didn't like the Merino lady jacket in person. Didn't like it when I tried it on either. It reminded me of an army blanket. That's a bit strong because it's not itchy, but I didn't find it soft or forgiving at all. It just kind of hung there. It's cute to look at. I wasn't impressed with it on and wouldn't purchase it even if on sale. Just my personal opinion. I only saw the gray one.

casual-crew - I think that the City Surplus Chinos are true to size. And if you are a low rise, you will like this. I am a medium rise, so mine are currently on eBay for auction. It's too bad because I really loved them and liked the pockets on the back in particular. Definitely something different than your usual slash pocket.

    ReplyDelete
  68. konosur-I feel your pain. They need to sort out the sizing. I don't know that everything is running big in all sizes or if they are just not making the 0's and 2's small enough compared to the other sizes. I am not a beanpoll by any means. Some anthro items in size 2 are too small, so it is a bit silly to size out of jcrew. Those who don't have this prob, imagine every single time you hear some one say: such and such item runs big. you are scr-wed and won't be able to buy it. Lately it's about 80%! It's frustrating. To the poster who said alter, I can have the hem and waist taken in but not the butt and I can't have all the sweaters tore apart and re-knitted lol.
As for the difference in online and store pricing, a lot of us are just sick of it. I really want to buy a pair of cords but I'm not going to pay $30 more to order online, plus ship! I just have to wait 3-4 weeks until I can get to the store. I miss getting goodies in the mail :(
    Whew sorry so long.

  69. Anonymous - I bought the merino Lady jacket on sale. Really liked the way fit me. I am a size medium top and curvy and it looked really fitted.

Jcrewjunkie - I am crazy about my Owen hobo. I LOVE that piece of horn, it looks really sleek and sophisticated in person.

    ReplyDelete
  70. shannee@ 6:55 PM: That's funny, cause I bought my sis something she wanted in XS & it was still too big on her. J.Crew needs to get their act together. Starting with the site & sizes. A decent promo code for retail items will help too. Yarg!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I agree that their sizing is not consistent.

My measurements are 33-27-38. I am 5'4" and 122 pounds. Yeah, I'm a pear, but not that tiny.

I wanted the femme cashmere sweater and the Marcella blouse. They were huge on me in an XS and 0, respectively. So I ordered the Harlow in a 0 hoping it would be more fitted. Nope still too big. The Tuesday trench is still baggy in a size 2. I am ordering the 0 and hoping it will fit.

However, the double serge skirt was perfect in a 6 and the Greta was wonderful in a 4. The mini described by the earlier poster was baggy on me in the 2.

I couldn't even get the sherpa hoody zipped until I moved up to a medium.

It is possible for a "normal to curvy" person to still get sized out of certain items in J Crew.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Alexis: Thanks! It just sucks when you take the time to actually call CS and they check stock and you order only the items that CS says that they have in stock and then 3 days later the order is canceled. There is some MAJOR issues going on with their stocking system and until they fix that it's B&M for me only.

One thing I did notice about the Astrid jacket:
JCrew Sept 2008 catalog: Dark haired girl in a car on the front....Astrid jacket on the back with NO cuff ruffles. Weird eh?

  73. Thanks for the input about the Merino lady jacket Item 96538. I thought it had the 'chunky weave'. I can never remember what the 'gauge' of material means as far as the size of the knit. (I guess I'm not a true fashionista, just a shopper who tries to look nice.) Maybe I can haul myself all the way down to the stinkin' mall and see it in person. Thanks again for the reviews.

    ReplyDelete
  74. The gauge of the knit should approximate the number of stiches per linear inch. So if you look across one row on a 5 gauge, you should see approximately 5 stiches. This will give you a chunky, jacket like sweater. A 14 gauge should be thin and drape easily like a tee shirt would.

  75. That should read "stitches." My "t" is "s'icking" on my key board. Must have new computer!

  76. I actually have not had many sizing issues at jcrew. Bottoms size 2 always fit. 2 or XS fits on top. The only exclusion i remember is a hoodie from last season with stripes on the inside that I had to size up for and jackie that was way too tight (read: unprofessional!) in XS and I had to get it in X. The rest fit just fine!

Don't forget that some clothes were meant to be baggy. You may not like it, but that' how it was meant to be so just move on and buy something else.

  77. I'm not a fan of this Astrid at all. I think the red and white ruffles are too candy cane for me. I do love the persimmon color of the jacket but the ruffles are so unfortunate.

btw, I should add that I LOVE (and own) the berry Astrid...those embellishments: good, these embellishments: bad.

  78. Anon 955- I agree with you that a lot of jcrew blouses are meant to be baggy. But they need to stop pinning/photoshopping everything on the size 0-2 models. They make sweaters and other tops look like the are cut in a flattering manner, i.e.: in at the waist a bit and it turns out that it's all baggy. And now we've come full circle lol. The "not as shown" problem

Anon - I have spent time as a print and fit model. I know when clothing "fits." When the shoulder seams are drooping off your shoulders and the neck of a shirt is too big around your neck, the shirt doesn't fit. J Crew cuts some shirts to have a boxy or trapeze fit, but some of their size 0 tops fit more like 6s. And no amount of alterations can fix some issues.

I agree with the last poster. I think they are terribly bad about pinning or photoshopping outfits. And don't forget, these are often sample garments and may have been made to look fitted when the final production run has a completely different shape and fit.

  80. The picture has now been changed online and the jacket is shown correctly with no trim on the cuffs!

    Yeah!

  81. I have not ordered Jcrew pants in some time. I can't get to a store and don't want to chance not being able to return from "final sale". Does the City-fit stretch chino Claire pant run true to size? I find that JCrew dresses and coats run really big. I love the pants just want to get the right size!
    Thanks
