Another Sneak Peek Into J.Crew's March Catalog

A big "thanks!" to M, who not only got a copy of J.Crew's March catalog, but also scanned & shared a few of those images with us. {Super nice of her!}

To view any of these images larger, just click on it. The resolution is good enough to read the text easily (just make sure you select the "large size"). :)

No doubt, the catalog being released to customers means that new arrivals are arriving online tomorrow. {fingers crossed!}

What are your thoughts on the upcoming catalog from J.Crew? Do you like the clothes and styling? Are you excited about new arrivals coming soon?

  1. At first look, I like the lady lace popover. I just wish it didn't have a collection price. I'm wondering if she's wearing something under it or if that layer is part of the shirt. I need a magnifying glass! :)

    Thanks so much for scanning all these pics! Can't wait till tomorrow morning! I wish I could make it to my b&m, but I'm leaving for Houston Saturday morning, so I'll have to make do with that b&m (and not get to work with my wonderful ps).

  2. Okay, I squinted and made out that it's merino over silk. Hope to see it this weekend in Houston.

  3. The lady lace popover immediately caught my eye, but the price...not so much. I saw several items in store today, and was underwhelmed. I tried the Merino Confetti pullover and it just didn't work. It was definitely nicely made, and soft, the the sequins were quite bright for my liking. I left empty handed, again. Thanks for scanning and posting the photos, I hope to see more tomorrow.

  4. Thanks Alexis...very much appreciate your efforts.

    Also a fan of the Lady Lace popover.

    Is it me or is everything just short, shorter and too darn short.

    Discouraging....

  5. I looked at these and also at the pix on Audreybella's blog. Love the colors, love the layouts. Wish I'd seen the picture of the Matinee Trench with hem skimming the cuff of the short shorts before I ordered it (the trench). It's a jacket with a hood, not what I need. Would love it in a real coat.

  6. Thanks for posting Alexis!!

    Thanks M for scanning & sharing!!

    Love the 'blues', and the double layer eyelet skirt - which I'm sure is going to be too short for me!

  7. I might have to splurge on the Eyelet pencil skirt this year. Each year I want one; each year it sells out before I'm able to snag it on sale.

    Thanks to M and Alexis for sharing the images! Looking forward to seeing everything online, hopefully tomorrow!

  8. Hi AppGal, I'd say go for it on the eyelet pencil (and I never pay FP!). I have the shadow one from 2 years ago (the item number is the same as the new one) and it never went below $99. It's very cute.

  9. LOVE - I'm in serious trouble. I haven't lusted after so many looks/items in a few months.....Thanks Gals for scanning the images.

  10. Thank you for sharing these photos M and Alexis! The colors are such a welcome change, I can't wait to see them online tomorrow. Loving that red Mackintosh coat but I already have several trench coats and my husband is once again complaining about the burgeoning coat closet so I doubt I could sneak that one in there. :( Guess I will never know unless I try. ;^)

    Looking at all those lovelies makes me feel like spring is just around the corner. And it is anything but spring-like here today.

  11. Thank you, M. ;)

    The liberty print you see in this catalog everywhere is like a brown/blue version of the poppy print from Spring 2009 that was on that Collection jacket (http://www.polyvore.com/poppy_floral_jacket_crew_collection/thing?id=8135737). Since I own that jacket, I figured I am actually good on the Liberty print for now (c'est shock!), but I might come around to those darling, darling oxford shoes. Yum.

    I do like that cotton lace tank...but will have to see it on the site for more info.

  13. Definitely big thanks for the scans! I too like the lace popover, I can't read the price though, looks like $496 to me. :) I am not happy about the return of Sperry Topsiders unless you plan to be on a sailboat. The lime green platforms look a little slutty for J Crew. And the sequined shorts... very cute, but can you actually sit or will the sequins be all broken and bent? I'm loving all of the featherweight cashmere colors. In general, a typical beautiful collection of clothes.

  14. Several things I definitely want to take a closer look at. Anxious to see all things on-line hopefully tomorrow a.m.! Thanks Alexis and M for this "teaser" post!

  15. The blue liberty print oxfords are definitely cute, but that same print is on a skirt that I bought today at the store. The skirt was $85.00 and it hits above my knees (i'm 5'1).

    i love liberty print but in this rollout there were 2 long sleeve shirts (one blue and the other pink) and the price is $148. too hefty for me right now :(

  16. Okay - LOVE it! I am always so thankful for any J Crew images - thanks for sharing. I need one of those timex watches - with many colorful bands. Does anyone know if it is easy to change the bands?

  17. Thanks, Alexis. Also loving the look with the eyelet skirt, as well as the fuller skirt (Dorrie?) from the previous post. Decisions, decisions.

  18. Ebe,
    I received my Timex yesterday and LOVE it. The bands are super easy to change. I assumed the pins would need to be removed to exchange bands, but they've designed it so that the band slides underneath the watch face to attach rather than by removing the pins. Quite clever. I'm going to pick up a couple additional straps this weekend.

  21. To Heather - Thanks for the info about the watch. I will be getting one because you cleared up my only concern. I love how helpful this blog can be!
