"Thanks!" to Marietta who shared with us an email that J.Crew sent its card members on Friday. The email also reminds us that their "private sale" of 20% off your entire order of $175+ with promo code SUMMER, ends today.
I ended up not taking advantage of this offer. I think I am "shopped out" for awhile. ;)
Did you take advantage of this recent offer? Are you still planning to take advantage of it today? :)
P.S. Have a great (& safe) Memorial Day!
This is O/T, but I just found this dress at Ann Taylor and it looks kind of similar to the new ruffled cotton sateen dress at J.Crew. Has anyone seen the Ann Taylor version in person?
ReplyDeleteIf they restock today I'll be ordering using the SUMMER code. I don't know if they do it on holidays though. They didn't restock yesterday.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have thoughts or a review of the new dressy jersey cinched dress? I am thinking of trying it out...
ReplyDeleteI would like to use the code for some full-priced items. Can anyone comment on the fit and quality of the double-serge cotton pencil skirts?
ReplyDeleteTTS in all colors or is the fit different by color?
Is the quality comparable to the wool double-serge from last fall?
Thanks much!
Hi, Just a quick question...does anyone know if the Milla tank has a size zip or not? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAppGal - I ordered that dress, and I'll be doing a review of it as soon as I get it! :)
ReplyDeleteShulvr, I ordered the double serge cotton skirt in 3 colors when I had the 25% off card. I returned. The discount would have to be bigger for me to bite. All three colors fit the same for me, they are TTS. On the downside, they aren't lined. The watercolor pencil skirt is cheaper and it's lined. The fabric is nice and I like the texture of it, but without lining they feel rather flimsy to me.
ReplyDeleteDesert Flower - thank you. I recall now a discussion about the skirts being unlined and when I read Gigi's review she also mentioned the wrinkle factor, something I definitely do not want. Glad to take a pass on this one.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate your comments, have a wonderful day.
Appgal and JTS - I too like the dress and plan to order it next time I visit my b&m which will hopefully be this weekend. I'll be looking for your review, JTS.
ReplyDeleteGenny, if I remember correctly the Milla tank does not have a zip on the side (I tried it on quite a while ago)
ReplyDeleteEma,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post. I finally got an answer from my email to CS and they said the same thing.
I took advantage of it! I ordered, among various t-shirts, the jacquard blazer (in golden maize), the burnished linen cropped trouser (ordered in two sizes because the sizing is so variable), and I'm taking a chance on the sweet orange pinpoint quilted blazer. I haven't seen a review of these anywhere but I can always return them if they don't work out!

ReplyDeleteI waited until almost the 11th hour and just ordered the Milla tank along with the cotton-silk paisley perfect shirt, linen knotted jacket and a couple pairs of ripstop utility pants, which I loved last year and wore to death.
ReplyDeleteIt was tough to order everything FP before discount but there is nothing I want that is on sale.
:(
At least the items are all things I have wanted since their release. I expect I will really like them and I'm not taking a chance on some deeply discounted piece that just doesn't work for me. I did wait for some of the items to go on sale but it didn't happen yet (just watch - tomorrow). I think J.Crew is getting very shrewd with their inventory. Maybe it's back to the days of being thankful just for a free shipping code. ;(
I saw the pleated lawn skirt on sale for $19.99 at the Houston Galleria J.Crew. :) Just in case anyone's looking for it!
ReplyDeleteShulvr,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your buys. They sound fabulous. Let us know how you like the Milla tank. I ordered one too as the last minute:) There were only 9 left in my size and I doubt it will make it to sale at all.
