HAs anyone tried the fanfare jacket? Does it fit TTS?
ReplyDeleteI purchased the fanfare jacket and loved it! I normally wear a 4 in their blazers, but sized up to a 6 in this one. It ran a bit narrow through the shoulders.

ReplyDeleteI got the Lula flats in the black/gray leopard. I have the other color and they are so comfortable (my first JC flats of any kind) and I got the first pair on a promo so I just waited and waited! I like the little wedge to them, much more comfortable than flat flats!
ReplyDeleteThere isn't anything I must have. The prices are simply too high. It seems to be the wave of jcrews future so I may be buying a lot less. Quality has been a big discussion here and I typically dismissed this because I was a pretty good Jcrew sale shopper but now that sale prices and even retail prices are higher I simply cant justify puchasing many of the items.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Jcrew is alone, many retailers seem to have really hiked up prices. This means I'll be wearing my clothing longer and quality will certainly be in the front of my mind.
Not sure if I snared the last petite vintage violet mini in my size, but the color was too pretty to pass up - if it doesn't make it to my front door, it wasn't meant to be, I guess. I'm not going to get too upset about it.

ReplyDeleteThere's not one thing I want in the sale section. There are a few new things I would like to bite on if there is a fp promo or if they go on sale. I had to get the Tippi in bright plum at full price. The color is very evasive and I was unable to get it on promo. Hopefully it will ship before kingdom come.
Size 10 of the shirt in heartthrob print available online! I loathed to pay FP, but this-- besides another $150 Liberty shirt-- was the only thing I liked from the last couple roll-outs.
ReplyDeleteITA with MegCrew. I too have become prudent with my shopping, and refuse to purchase items even at sale price if the quality isn't there. The only retailer I never hesitate to purchase from now is Boden, and I don't mind paying full price because the quality is there!!

If you ladies do decide to shop the 30% off sale don't forget to use Shop At Home so you get the 7% cash back. It might make the numbers a little easier to bear.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE jcrew and I have MANY items on the watch list, I just can't stomach paying the price so I will wait and hope that they eventually drop to where I'm willing to shop.
I picked up the calf hair belt along with some full priced items to try for when they make it to sale
ReplyDeleteI bit on a couple of striped tops, another plaid perfect shirt, belts and a few crewcut items for my kiddo. The tops were under $30 ea., which I think is an extremely fair price for the items.
