Happy Valentine's Day! {celebrating w/ J.Crew?}
I l-o-v-e these posts. It is really interesting to hear what other Aficionadas and Aficionados plan on wearing, since it gives me lots of wonderful ideas for future outfits. So for this post, what we are planning to wear on Valentine's Day? :)
As for me, I am finally going to break out the Hacking jacket in double-serge wool in Heather Bright Berry and the Edie Purse in Black! Very excited about wearing these two pieces, along with a pair of chinos, white sleeve tee, and ballet flats.
What are you planning to wear this Valentine's Day? Are you planning to go "head to toe" J.Crew or parts J.Crew?

ReplyDeleteProbably going to wear the silk rhea popover in paisley. It's a beautiful blouse.
ReplyDeleteJ Crew,

(slaps knee)
Happy V-day all!
ReplyDeleteNo. 2 pencil skirt in double serge wool in Neon Azalea with boy shirt in stripe crepe de chine in Navy with a polka dot cashmere sweater in navy that I've had forever. Wish I could wear my Evie stripe peeptoes but alas riding boots it must be.
D*ska - your outfit sounds awesome! I have that same skirt on the way. I adore that pink.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing white jeans, the Polly popover in stripe crepe de chine (in the navy/green), the new neon pink patent belt, and black heels.
Have a wonderful day/evening ladies!
that's one of my favorite jcrew photos. reminds me of college. :)
ReplyDeleteValentine Schmalentine... :-) today for me it's black tuxedo type cropped pants from the Gap, cream colored chiffon tiered tank, maraschino cherry perfect fit mixed tape cardigan and red patent Salina flats. Accessorized with Betsy Johnson lip print and heart print bangles and ring.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day JCAs! Definitely wearing red and pink theme Jcrew attire today. See my outfit here.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Shopping With M for the tip.....
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing the Silk pleat skirt in Crimson Floral with a red turtleneck and black boots.
The red roses are PERFECT for Valentine's Day!
to me, that pic is j.crew's interpretation of Dylan's "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" album cover :)
ReplyDeleteHappy V-day!
Lucky Magazine is tweeting photos from the J. Crew presentation... that's how I'm celebrating, haha!
ReplyDeleteI am wearing a henna perfect fit tee... I guess it's sort of red? I honestly forgot it was Valentine's day this morning!
ReplyDeleteMiami warmed up some today, so I'm in a pale pink favorite tank, pale pink JC '08 chinos, and pink/beige madewell sidewalk wedges. With a v. dark Soho jean jacket.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't rock red for V-Day but since I now own the maraschino cherry cafe capris...they need to be put to good use :)
ReplyDeleteWearing: cherry wool cafe capris, black cashmere turtleneck sweater, black Robert Noble wool blazer, leopard print Tory Burch wedges and lots of gold bangles, including the gold Jenna bracelet.
Happy Valentine's Day!
in the office but wearing the red dream tie-neck cardi and charcoal university pants
ReplyDeleteI love that picture. It reminds me of being young and in puppy love. *deep sigh*
ReplyDeleteI am a humbug today, since my husband did not even bother to get me a card. :( So I made a conscious decision not to wear red or pink. I have on the tailored denim pencil skirt and the cerise/brown colorblock tee, despite the fact that it clings to every lump and bump and unfortunately highlights my backfat. I topped it with the icon trench for a visit to my son's first-grade classroom at lunchtime. Not festive, maybe, but presentable. ...
My verification word is homical. Close enough! ;)
Elaine, the day isn't over yet. BTW I tried the colorblock tee (green/navy) with that skirt, don't think that shirt tucks well into that skirt. Keeping both, luvvem but not together.
ReplyDeleteI've got on a Jackie twinset in pale pink, matching scarf and a pair of retail only earrings that look like the crystal starlets but are... PINK! I love any excuse to wear my fave color!
ReplyDeleteOh, I was obnoxious today. I wore the J Crew factory double serge pencil skirt in Neon Rose (which is much more neon IRL than online), a pale pink gingham check shirt, and a bright red cardi from Lands End Canvas, and a dark purple belt and handbag from Talbots. It’s the only day of the year I can pull of wearing red and pink and purple together, so of course I took advantage.
