"Thanks!" to many of you, including JulieBee (in this post), JulieStyles & The American Observer (in this post) Mackenzie Anne & BonnieMc (in this post), as well as Irina & , who let us know about the following news regarding J.Crew card members: rewards cards are being mailed to qualifying card members now! There is more... J.Crew included all the looks in their Spring 2012 LookBook in a multi-page mailer.
"Thanks!" again to Irina & who shared the images of the Rewards Card (shown above) as well as the flyer with the Spring Look Book images (shown below) for us to view.

So if you are a card member, *check* your mail to see if you got your Spring Rewards Card! :)

Received my rewards yesterday. The Lookbook cards are a fun extra ... I enjoyed looking through them, but we have the stark white background thing going on again.
ReplyDeleteThe mens' looks seem a little contrived and over-styled to me, which is unusual because I typically love the mens' looks.
Can't wait to hear what everyone is planning to buy with their rewards!
Mine hasn't arrived. I am always a few days behind, maybe the part of the country I'm in. I am looking forward to it, I have something in mind to purchase and my rewards will really help.
ReplyDeleteMy first time being mentioned by Alexis :) sooo excited Thanks for the shout out!! :)
ReplyDeleteRuffles: The lookbook does match the new website layout! Good catch! :)
ReplyDeleteDesert Flower: I hope you get it soon too! :)
Mackenzie Anne: Thank you for sharing!!! :)
I don't have a card arriving any time soon....but I'm anxious to see what's new.
ReplyDeleteMy rewards came today. I like the idea of the lookbook card, but wish the names and prices were included. What if what I want is way out of my budget? I have to ask my ps to find out and then realize I won't pay that much? Guess they think if we like it enough to check on it, we'll pre-order even if it's priced too high.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the shout out Alexis. I actually went into the store today and there are some interesting pieces. It's always good to see and touch them in person. Plus, you can take an additional 50% off in stores.
ReplyDeleteMine is on its way too, apparently. Hopefully it will arrive before March 15.
ReplyDeleteMine arrived today. Woo-hoo! Love the fold out card.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else get one for $50? Does that mean I spent some huge amount this past cycle? Or did I just get lucky?!
ReplyDelete@Audrey
ReplyDeleteit's $25 for every $500 spent. :)
Wow! I really, really don't think I spent that much! I am wondering if there is some other explanation!
ReplyDeleteAudrey, maybe you has enough $ charged and then happened to return returned items after the cutoff period?
ReplyDeleteAudrey
ReplyDeleteI think they rollover from last quarter if you didn't have enough points to get a reward then.
Mine hasn't come yet. I have a gift card from Xmas and with the rewards card, I should have a nice amount to spend. I REALLY want the dress in Look #20 (better be a dress and not two separate pieces in 2 different fabrics though!) I'm also interested in the black and white dreamweaver wedges.
ReplyDeleteGot my rewards card last night, but instead of a fold-out look book card, I got 2 look books, one for women, one for men [each fashion photo on a separate full page]. Love the styling!
ReplyDeletejust got mine.
ReplyDeletejust spent mine.
:)
i also wish they included some info about the items in their lookbook. i love dress #20 but i'm totally afraid to ask how much it is.
One thing you can do get a better look is to go to NY Magazine's website and you can look at all of these up close. It gave me a better view of all of the looks since I didn't get the rewards card.
ReplyDeleteHere is the link:

Hope that helps!
OT: I do apologize, but I can't help but wonder during Awards season...has J. Crew ever made it onto the red carpet? Sharon Stone and a Gap turtleneck is the closest I remember.
ReplyDeleteI haven't got mine yet. I think they're still trying to figure out how much I get after my returns? lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks @Michelle for the link. Better pics than the JC website!
I agree about the men's looks. Why are they still doing the too-short and rolled-up pants? They shorten the silhouette and tell me, what man wants to look shorter?
ReplyDeleteI agree that the men's styling is unattractive. Ugh=rolled up short skinny pants highlighting hairy sock-less feet.
ReplyDeleteI sent an email to find out the price on the dress in #20. Looks like the madelene dress they just put out in green, but in a print. Will report back when I get the price.
Just got my rewards card and collection book. Pretty colors. Would love to see these clothes on some non-model figures. I cannot decide what I'm looking at in look #20...is that a midi-pencil? I wish that the waistlines on most of the dresses weren't cut SO high. They hit me mid-ribcage and make me look like Steve Urkel.
ReplyDelete@ Audrey, I completely understand what you mean. Can't believe that I spend that much. really?!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone has any ideas on what I should spend mine on... A purchase I won't regret
I love so many things that it's hard to narrow down a fav.
