"Thanks!" to New York & Paris (in this post), who shared the following news.The latest J.Crew catalog sent to customers may have a unique promotional code (for something like 20% off on any order, free shipping with no minimum, or $20 off a certain amount).
The code is found on the back cover. New York & Paris also shares in this post: "The catalog with the discount code had a bright orange "cover" over the regular catalog, making the code pretty difficult to miss. ..."
So double-check your catalog to see if you got a unique promo code too! :)
Nah...just checked mine and nothing. I have seen them as an insert also but nothing in mine. Which is tough since I just ordered 2 things online and spent quite a bit in store on Saturday...

ReplyDeleteI got a catalog a couple months ago after a few years of getting none. I highly doubt I will get a February catalog, let alone one with a code!

As it happened, when I left this morning, I had enquired of our doorman if any of the building staff had noticed any catalogs from J.Crew ( which they know about from helping me, um, disguise the arrival of packages). When I got home, there were 5 JC catalogs on my doormat, mine plus 4 others addressed to various other occupants of the building! None bore a code. Now I have to tactfully get the surplus catalogs back to other people's mailboxes, and I'm also wondering if I'm on the way to solving the mystery of why my catalogs arrive so erratically.
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice a code on my catalog, which I received yesterday. The lack of codes post-holiday was making me remember once upon a time when we used to get the $20 off $80 or $100 in the catalogs. Those were a treat!

ReplyDeleteAm pondering the double cloth metro coat in oasis green. Is the color close to a kelly green? Also, how is the fit. I normally wear a petite 0 at JCrew but the sleeves on my 2008 P0 lady day are irritatingly short....so I thought I might go with a regular 00 or a P2. The website says the metro is slimmer than the lady ...is that true?
Hi Annapurna, I just ordered the metro coat two days ago after I was able to try one on in store that someone had returned. It was a 6 tall, which is my normal coat size. I could barely get it on and could not button it. Even an 8 would not have fit comfortably, at all. I ordered a 10 tall which is unprecedented for me. I have a lady day in an 8 tall which fits well. So, yes it is slimmer than the lady day, in my opinion, which is ridiculous. The lady day already runs so small... why make the metro even smaller? I don't get it. You may want to size up from your lady day size.

I laugh because of their after-christmas box fiasco, when they were sending me tees in a box that my sis could fit in...
I actually contacted J.Crew about the code (hoping that if I asked nicely they would share it with me) and they said there was no code on the February catalogs but they had received lots of inquiries from would-be shoppers. Let's hope there is a promo soon. I am so ready to use that rewards card!
