JCA "Help Style Me!" Weekly Post

This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this post) says it best, "You know, that thing you bought because you love it and you keep pulling it out and then putting it away without wearing it?"

Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.

    Does anyone own the Elan trousers? I'm wondering if they show excessive lap wrinkles after wearing while seated.

    Sorry to be OT, but I recently acquired the Greer Wedge Ankle booties and was wondering where you all buy suede protector spray. The department store where I last bought some (a long time ago) doesn't carry it any more. TIA!

      How do your Greer Wedge boots fit you? I am thinking of buying a pair on ebay since they don't have them in stores anymore but I have thin ankles and am worried the ankle part will be too loose. Also, do they run true to size?

    I am 5'2 and a 10P. I have the Minnie pants in the redwood color and all of a sudden I feel like the style makes me look short and squat. The Pixie's on the other hand lean me out.

    Should I dump the Minnie's or am I overreacting?

    I'm also 5'2" and I bought the Minnie's in the regular length. The petite 24" inseam just doesn't look good on me. Maybe that's why you like the Pixie's better.

    I also get the regular length in the Cafe Capris.

    JoJo and Mei, I am only 5'1' and I agree the Minnies and Cafe Capris in Petite make me look strange I think. I go with the regulars.
