Yes, it is that wonderful time!
A super big "thanks!" t0 Lucy (in this post) as well as from the see chloe shop (shop, chloe, shop!) blog, who let us know that J.Crew is offering free shipping on orders of $150+ with promo code SPZ437. It is unclear when this offer expires.
P.S. I have noticed that other blogs & websites post J.Crew codes & coupons *after* this blog does. If you happen to get codes & coupons from the JCA blog & post them at your site, could you please give give a "shout out" to the JCA blog? This way more JCAs are inclined to share. TIA! :)
Ack! I bit the bullet yesterday and placed an order for some sale stuff. Oh well, most of that stuff is sold out today in my size, hopefully it still ships ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlexis, I think you should ask Lucy to divulge the other forum she got this code from so you can credit it, especially given the standard "PS" message at the bottom of the post about giving this blog a "shout out".
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting, I finally got the blossoms cardi and bijoux bracelet (along with some stuff for the boyfriend) that I've had in my cart!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: If you are an avid reader of this blog, you know I do my absolute best to give credit where credit is due. Whenever I can, I not only refer to various blogs, sites, news organizations but provide a link back as well.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I hope you are *not* trying to start drama with either a blog or forum war.
With that said, I did a search for the code and the only place I found it posted was on Chloe's lovely blog: see chloe shop (shop, chloe, shop!). Which incidentally, I have already have listed on the Blog Roll Call. I have gone ahead and updated the post with that info as well.
Have a great day! :)
Alexis, no, I'm not trying to start drama. Sorry if it came across that way. :( I know that you are fair and give credit where it is due!
ReplyDeleteMy point was more that in this case, Lucy said she got the code off another forum, so it's only fair to name it here, if we (as a community) expect others to give us the same courtesy. :)

ReplyDeleteI would love to use this code on some dresses but they are sold out in my size. I think the dress promo cleared out a lot of sizes yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: Thank you for the thoughtful follow-up response. I do appreciate it. :)
ReplyDeleteFinally! I need a conservative, business-attire-y dress for a mid-day function next month and have been eyeing the stretch flannel and Andre dresses. I didn't expect either to on sale anytime soon and with the 20% off promotion, I came *this* close yesterday to make a purchase. So glad that, for a change, I actually decided to wait it out for a code. Purchased both and plan on returning one (although we all know how that goes).
ReplyDeleteOhhhh...I so want some new shoes...we'll see if this is enough to motivate me (like I really need more motivation!) :D
ReplyDeleteYAY for another code! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I used it this morning to buy some sale stuff for my upcoming vacation to Mexico.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this code since I've used it to place an order this morning. I didn't order any dresses though since I'd prefer further markdowns...
ReplyDeleteI pulled the trigger on the Alecia heels. I have been lusting after them for weeks, and don't want them to sell out in my size.
ReplyDeleteAlso got the Parlor Hobo from the sale section, though it didn't say FS anywhere. Anyone care to comment on this bag?
For all those who have the Black Blossoms Blazer and love it--how is the fit. (It is not for me) I know my sister would love it. She is 5'10 and a 36C and usually wears a size 10 in JCrew jackets. Will a medium work or should I get the large? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOT: I received the Waterfloral Pastiche Cardigan the other day and just posted a pic of here on my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteGenny: I sized down in mine, so my first instinct would be to say the same for your sister. The fit is somewhat boxy, so to make it more streamlined, sizing down definitely helps. The only thing I would caution is if she has broad shoulders, sizing down may not work as well. Maybe someone on the blog has the jacket in those sizes and can give you exact measurements in the M and L?

ReplyDeleteI'm a teacher and am not going on spring break next week. Since I'm staying home, I intend to do some spring shopping. Anyone know when new arrivals are coming? I think I read reports of March 22 or 25. Is it sad that I'm planning my shopping day around JC?
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased to see the FS promo, but still enjoying goodies from previous 30% promo. There are a ton of things in my cart (as usual) but nothing I need urgently...eagerly anticipating another 30% off + FS and then I'll bite.
ReplyDeleteOT, but L.L.Bean has just introduced a new line, L.L.Bean Signature and they have really cute stuff!!
crewcrazy - I got a mailer from my store inviting me to see new arrivals today (the 18th). The funny thing is, there was a small sticker over the date, which was originally printed as the 22nd.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the code! I caved this morning and got the cross-hatch pencil skirt in gray and the neapolitan cardi.
ReplyDeleteBTW, does anyone have a Lands End Canvas coupon that they won't be using? I signed up for emails about a month ago but still haven't received one :(
Thanks!
I caved too! I bought the perfect pencil skirt in bright plum (I just adore this skirt) and the Frances cami in whisper pink, then added a nail polish to bring me up to the $150 minimum. I figured neither item would be there for the next 30% off promo. Thanks for the code, Lucy and Alexis!
ReplyDeleteKat - I think I might have a Canvas code in my home email. I'll post it for you ASAP.
Kat,
ReplyDeleteTry this....
Code BLOOM and PIN 126700824
Ends Today! Take 25% off the item of your choice + Free Shipping when you order $50 or more
Thanks for the code. Have been waiting for it to order a few merino cardigans.
ReplyDeleteAppGal,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the help. I did call CS for the measurements and that helped a bit but one never knows for sure even then:) She does have broader shoulders so I will stick with the medium. Thanks. I was tempted to get the large so at least you saved me from going too big.
Thanks for the code! I am planning to get the cadogan ankle boots but still not sure about it, since they are final sale. Anybody cares to give opinions on that? Are they pretty comfy? How do they fit? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi ReginaO - thanks so much for the code! It worked and I finally ordered the fit and flare dress :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome Kat! Cuuuuute dress ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks from me, too, for posting the free shipping code! With a short vacation coming up next weekend, I was afraid I'd be cutting it too close if I waited any longer than today.
ReplyDeleteDecided to try those adorable new shorts J. Crew recently added: the heavy poplin Carson and Flora paisley shorts. Have any of you seen them in person, perhaps in a store or you've already ordered them?
Happy shopping to all.
OT:
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have an online use GAP Friends and Family code they aren't using? The one they send is only online use of one time only and submitted realizing I left off a few things for my kiddos! Please email:
jcrewjunkie @ sbcglobal.net TIA!!
This is totally OT but can anyone recommend a classic trench? I like the Banana one, but my size is sold out (XS). I am sure a lot of brands have classic trenches, I just cant find any. Please help! Many thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe friendly neighborhood man-in-brown showed up on my doorstep today with a box from JC.
ReplyDeleteBut it was filled with duds! Sad face. I'd ordered Robins in navy and pale wisteria. Both colors were great, and I love the heavy silk tricotene, which drapes nicely and holds up well to ironing and steaming. The fit was way off on my D cup chest though. The slight cowl just looked like an ill fitting halter top, so they are both going back. It would have been a great deal if they had worked.
The Isle was a disappointment, too. The modal/cotton/spandex blend is really soft, and washes and air dries very nicely in the other JC dresses I have, and I doubt the Isle would be any different. I ordered the salmon, which is a very "truth in advertising" name! A pretty orangey pink hue, and nice with my dark hair. In the pictures of this dress, I really liked the bands of ruching at the top and bottom of the bodice. On the bod, though, the bottom band gets lost, and creates an odd, poochy bit of fabric. Kind of hard to explain, but I don't think anyone B cup or under would have this problem. It hit me two or three inches past my knee, giving a slightly stumpy effect to my already less than willowy 5'5" frame. With the skimpy spaghetti straps, and body of the dress not tight, not A line, just kind of hanging, it's a rare jersey pass for me. If I wanted something this blah, I can get it for cheaper at Target. Sorry, AppGal! Maybe you'd have better luck, though.
Since hope springs eternal, has anyone tried the pretty ruffles jersey dress?
Anyone have any thought on the Jersey promenade gown? Seen it in real life? Is it just a cotton knit or is it more substantial? Thanks!ga
ReplyDeleteKris Thanks for the info. Looks like a trip to the mall this week-end!
ReplyDeleteI just received the Austin Slouch Cardigan and I love it. I ordered the Heather Stone in my usual JC size, it fits like the description says, it is slouchy at the waist but not boxy. I could have sized down but then the arms and bust would have been tight. What impressed me was the quality, the seams were reinforced with ribbon or twill tape, the fabric is thin but not sheer, it will be perfect for the summer or late Spring. It is alot like the Ringspun cardigan from last Summer but it is a soft knit rather than the ringspun cotton. Is it worth $45.00? probably not, but this one is a keeper.
ReplyDeleteLinen-Cotton Henley: I received this on the knit promo. Perfect layering tee, the lighter colors are see through enough you have to wear a cami, the darker ones are fine to wear alone. One caution, inspect the garment for fabric runs, other than that it washes great you can even put it in the dryer without it shrinking.
If anyone is looking... the crystal web earring is $29.99 in store versus $39.50 online (orig $65.00)... It's a little long but not heavy like those gold dangling earrings. Finally, something silver not gold! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteCheesyGoodness: Bummer! Sorry the dresses didn't work out for you. I will only try it if it goes on a ridiculous (non final sale) sale. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteJulie: Heidi did a review of the Promenade gown here. HTH!
julie, The Headtotoewithheidi blog has a review of the jersey promenade gown.

Genny - On the Black Blossom Blazer, I am 5'10 as well and wear 36C...I went with the large because I like to layer and belt. A medium would definitely be a bit more fitted. I felt like the (L) gave me more options and it is super comfy. I did want more of a spring coat look too and not so much blazer so hope that helps.

ReplyDeleteI just sent you a Gap invite!
Chris,
ReplyDeleteThanks. That helps a lot:)
AppGal and IRL thanks for the heads up on the review I caved last night and ordered it and the waterfall cardigan in purple. They are too pretty!
ReplyDeleteI've been debating all Winter over the station coat....though I loved the description and reviews, I was hesitant because of the cost, I couldn't try it on, no returns on Final Sale. It wasn't until it sold out in my size and color back in Feb. that I realized it was *the* coat for me. Well, I've been checking the final sale daily for updates with no luck.....until tonight. When I saw the coat in navy size 8 T, I pulled the trigger. I'm still nervous that I won't like the fit, but there's no question that I will love the coat itself. Thanks for posting the discount!
