J.Crew's March Catalog {double check it!}

In the past few months, JCAs found something extra in the catalog J.Crew mailed them (refer to the "J.Crew's Latest Catalog {double check it!}" & "J.Crew's October Catalog {double check it!}" posts). J.Crew had been offering one-time promotion codes— ranging from free shipping codes with no minimums, to 10% to 20% off any order with no minimums, and the like.

Well, it looks like J.Crew is doing something similar again! :)

"Thanks!" to Justyna who let us know she received her catalog the other day with a one-time promotion code for 20% (no min) on her next order.

So if you get the latest J.Crew catalog in the next week or two, double check inside to see if there's a special offer.

Oddly enough, I did receive the Portugal catalog on Monday with an expired code. (It read: "but hurry... offer is good only until Sunday, February 14th". ...right!). ;) But in all seriousness, I am really happy for those JCAs who received something extra in their copy of the catalog.

Congrats to all those with an offer! :)

  2. I did receive my catalog in the mail, but sadly there was no promotion code inside. Congrats to all those who did receive it though! :)

  3. If you get an expired code, call CS and ask them to honor it for you. I've done that successfully several times!

  4. No special offers in my catalog, not even expired free shipping. :( I remember the days when I frequently received the $20 off $40 coupons...

  5. ...make that $20 off $80 coupons!

  6. Yeah, I have gotten expired codes three months in a row...kind of laughable, really. If there was anything I really wanted to purchase, I would be more irritated.

  7. I've gotten expired codes in the recent past, then lately no catalogs at all! Jeanne, I'm feeling that nostalgia for the "good old days" with those catalog codes!

  8. No code for me. However, I received my J Crew order from Friday night and for once am thrilled with everything.

I ordered the superfine cotton skirts in graphite and khaki, the pefect shirts in the honeyclover and pink pastel, and the pale gray celocia cardi. Everything fit, was well made and looked fabulous on. I may be going back for a navy skirt also as I am completely delighted with the fit and fabric. The honeyclover shirt is obviously very pricey, but the pattern is so sweet in person, and the ruffles on the sleeves and collar are a nice touch. I usually order a 4 in perfect shirts (I am 5'4" and 125 pounds and like my shirt a little relaxed and these fit nicely. Way to go J Crew!

  9. I got the catalog, it's the first one I have received in YEARS, and I spend a LOT in JCrew's merchandise (my PS even sends me a Christmas card and I get all of Mickey's gifts), but no promotional code :(.. I am happy for all of those who got it. Enjoy!

  10. I got two catalogs (I live in a large building w/ two addresses, so for whatever reason they've shipped to both). The catalog w/ the address that I have NOT bought from had a 20% off promo! The catalog w/ the address that I most recently bought from does not have any coupon. I guess they're trying to bring in new customers?

  12. I'd definitely take the plunge and purchase some items if I got any % off! I'm still sitting on a spring rewards card. I'm dying for the Tissue rosette bouquet tee (23743). But I know I'll kick myself in a week or so when they have a 20% final sale offer.

  13. Anne,
I was struggling too. I told my hubby. He agreed. He doesn't care for most of the mens shirts he said anymore. Things have really changed at JCrew. I miss the old JCrew but things change and while I will still check out JC I won't rely on them for 90% of my wardrobe anymore.

  14. I was very excited to see my coupon. Jumping up and down excited. I haven't bought from J.Crew in quite a long time. Just yesterday I went to the outlet store. That made me happy.

  15. Why does J Crew keeping on sending me expired fs codes with last months catalog? Cripes JC get your act together, when I call you tell me you cannot apply the discount because it has expired!

  16. No code for me, but congrats to those who did get one.

  17. I'd like to actually *receive* a March catalog...I also got the expired Feb 14th coupon. Get it together, JCrew.

  18. I am mad! My catalog included not a promotion code, but an offer to open a JC credit card -- which I have had for years! Talk about "know your customer" -- NOT!The way these things work is, if you are a loyal customer and buy a lot, you don't need a promotion code -- the company knows you will buy without it. If you go for a while without buying, you will get a promotion code to "win you back." How sick is that? J Crew is not the only company that does this. I hate this style of marketing and I'm sad J Crew has adopted it. I think I will have my daughter do my online buying for a while and see if that makes them think I've jumped ship. Do you think we can get all JCAs to go on strike (no purchases!) in protest?
