Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available in the Spring sale, or to see some Summer arrivals {wahoo!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. The store stock is so sparse these days! I concur w/everyone who has been told the July rollout has been pushed till the last week of the month.

OT - I found out prices of some of the Lookbook items. We already knew the prices of some. I created about 16 posts. I kept them separate in the event I am able to go back and add irl pics. The 1st one begins here.

  2. Looks like there are some new arrivals on the site. (!)

  3. I noticed the same thing silver_lining! I think the Silk Petal tank seen here is from the lookbook: Click Here .

Btw...one of the manager's at my B&M said it looks like the Denim Safari Jacket is also going to be available in White. :)

I stopped in last night to make some direct returns and the sale section was full. Tons of Pleated Lawn skirts for $19.99 (still $49.99 on the website), Atelier Jackets, Cafe Capris, Monterey skirts, Charmeuse pencil skirts, and tons of tees and cardigans, all in larger sizes. I left with only a perfect fit tank and the slub cotton stamped paisley tee in ivory (love this tee), neither of which was on sale, but the tank was a must have and the tee was too cute to pass up. :)

I saw one pair of Jakarta shorts in size 6 and a Jakarta mini that I think was a size 8, if anyone is looking for them. 407-226-9732

  4. It looks as if the skirt in the same lookbook pic is also on the website now: Watercolor Tortoiseshell skirt .

  5. That tortoiseshell print is cute, but I'm not loving the front pleats - they look like they could be problematic!

  6. Alert, the metallic strati tank is reduced to $59.99 from $110!! The cotton one is still FP.

  8. Off topic- Alexis, I just emailed you an article I found in the newest Town & Country. It shows Jenna wearing one of the new wool blazer for fall!

Gigiofca--thanks for posting about the items in the Lookbook. Very helpful info!

  9. Gigi,

Thanks for the photos and info.

Does anyone have info on the yellow coat, the jaquard skirt (shown with a yellow cardi), or the libery print shirt shown with the yellow coat?

  10. silver_lining - it seems like the pleats on the tortiseshell skirt would just get weirder as the day wore on.

I would like to see the downtown field jacket and downtown denim trousers irl.

  11. The Huntsville, AL store does have 20% off its sale, and they are great about doing charge-sends. FYI!

  12. Last night my PS (who I've only actually used once) left me a voice mail letting me know today is the last day of the 20% off instore. I thought that was nice. I'm not sure if I'll make it in since I don't really need/want anything, and I'd be hard pressed to think of anything from the last couple roll outs that I'd grab if it went on sale.

  13. Just got an email announcing the new arrivals... and it looks like the Professor's pink typewriter is in the picture!

  14. I'm going to a B&M store next week when I'm in the States, and I can't wait to see if there are any treasures in the sale section!!

  15. Was at my B&M yesterday, picked up cascading petals cardi. Nothing else really caught my eye as they have the same thing. Lots of tees, georgia cardigans, gateau skirts, tuxedo front camis, etc. Lots of larger sizes were left though.

I ended getting some items online since the site was updated with further markdowns.

  16. Thanks, Gigi, for the info on some of the Lookbook items!

  17. Somewhat OT...Will put off ordering online for as long as I can! Ordered 5 things and 3 items got cancelled, including 2 corsage tees...So frustrating.

  18. Can anyone comment on the fit of the Edie double cotton dress? TIA.

  19. Has anyone been to a j crew outlet recently?i just saw on ebay what appears to be a Victoria cami in - wait for it - the abstract rose print. I love that pattern!

  20. Hi Susan, I ordered a size 0 for the Edie double cotton dress and returned it. The sizing runs big and it probably fits bigger than a regular size 2. I'd say size down for this style.

  21. Just got back from the Seaport (NY) b&m, they have the perfect fit corsage scoopneck tees in new colors! I picked up a mint green, rose, and dark charcoal. They also have white, light pink, and amethyst. Thry also have the Grand corsage top (item 17144).

  22. Anyone been to the Fifth Avenue or Columbus Circle NY stores lately? Is it worth a trip this afternoon? TIA! :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hi Bluenana, I have been to both stores (5 Ave & Columbus Circle). They have tons of tops, skirts (ombre & bow skirt) with some beach & sun dresses and some selection of shoes. Seeing that today is the last day for the 20% off, I think it's worth the trip.

  24. Just got back from my local B&M (Carmel CA). The shop offers 20% additional off but the store stock is sparse as Gigiofca said.

Metallic pleated cotton strati tank was not on sale at the shop (still full price $110). Ruffled cotton-sateen dresses were all gone.

*Sales items with 20% additional off items*
The cotton ruffle tank $49.99 (all small sizes are gone)
Linen tweed mica mini skirt $39.99
    Tuxedo-front cotton cami: $29.99
Metallic mini skirt (gold and silver) $19.99
Classic leather belt: Stone $9.99 Beige, Black, Brown $19.99
    Watercolor floral umbrella: $19.99
    Dauphine patent T-strap sandals: $29.99-$39.99

*Sales item without 20% additional off*
    3" horizon-stripe short (navy) $39.99 (size 2, 4, 8, 10, 12? only)
    Green horizon-stripe mini $39.99

This shop had a linen holly jacket in flax (only one: size 12) at $39.99. Just in case somebody is looking for.

  25. Thanks, Jean! I did stop by both stores tonight and I got a navy and charcoal strapless jersey dresses for $23.99 each, a bunch of cute headbands for $3.99 and $7.99, and a pair of pink skull flip flops for $10.49. Was hoping to find some good jewelry, but they didn't have anything I was hoping to find.

  27. I just stopped at Keystone mall in Indianapolis. I had to run through pouring rain to get there, but it was totally worth it!!

They had about 10 pairs of dark matchstick jeans in 26S :) Also a lot of sweaters and tees in various sizes. Lots of summer sandals on sale too. The extra 20% off is still going on. Some new fall items were out and so cute :)

  28. I am looking for the Linen Holly Jacket in sz. 14 - if anyone sees any in their stores, I'd love to know! Thanks! Suzy

  32. The CBS show was great, 9 minutes--visuals, strategies, and behind the scenes looks. Loved the eyeframes he was wearing, perhaps Selima?

If you twitter, JCrew can be followed (and they announced this show was finally airing):

  33. I visited the J.Crew factory store in Birch Run, MI yesterday. Usually I'm disappointed by factory store offerings, but this time I scored a few pairs of Madewell zip crop jeans for $10. They had several pairs of white, mocha, red and yellow Madewell denim in sizes 24-30.

  34. I'm still looking for the Holly Linen jacket in size 0 or 2. Please let me know if you see one in your store.

  35. This weekend, I got the jacquard dot tuxedo perfect shirt for $23.99! Last week it was on sale for $59.99, but I didn't want to spend that much, so I held out (more like, my boyfriend persuaded me to not buy it then!). This weekend it was marked down to $29.99 plus %20 off final sale. There were 2 left in my size. This time waiting paid off! :)
