Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  2. I went to the outlet and it was a waste of time. Everything felt thin and cheap to me, and I used to be a huge proponent of factory. They now have the factory version of a thick wool turtleneck sweater from the holidays last year (now called the factory warmspun turtleneck) and it is a pale imitation.

  3. Stopped into Tysons Corner B&M to check out new arrivals. Last time I was there it was disappointing. Everything too big, baggy, oversized. So, I was surprised to find so many things I loved this time. My big score, which I can't even find online but they had in store, was this super cute leather paneled dress. The leather panel is down the front and the dress is A-line, below knee and hugs curves but is a great work dress. The colors are a rich blue and black -- a combo I always fall for. I also loved and brought home the Glen Plaid flounce dress. Super cute. The new tees were great. I tried the Donald Robertson Cheetah print. Darling but left it there. $45 t-shirt? Hmmm. I did take home the Ribbon Bow tee. Also, LOVE the boiled wool puffer jacket in the Olive color. Overpriced but took that home, as well. On Super Sale I got the Herringbone embroidered flats. Also caved for more sweatshirts (why?!) the structured necklace tee (it's really more like a sweatshirt material). The blue stones are brilliant blue. And, the studded sweatshirt whih I had been eyeing for a while online but had yet to see in person. I also grabbed the pin stripe diagonal zipped sweater. Very cute. I sized down in almost everything except the dresses. But, I will say, pleasantly surprised at how much I liked and took home. Have my eye on a few more things and with the latest promo and a special event this Wednesday at my local B&M, I am guessing I'll be bringing home more fun fall loot. Maybe there is hope yet for J. Crew!

    1. Sounds like you found a lot of great items. I'm excited to see the roll-out on Wednesday.
I have the pinstripe sweater on my wish list. Did you size down in the the sweater, too? Is there room to layer a tee under it? TIA!

    2. maryeb -- originally I sized down to a Small, which fit but decided to go with the Medium for a little extra room for, like you said, a tee.
