Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

    1. Whoops - code is "OURBDAY". I (somewhat ashamedly) didn't need it because I bought >$100 of stuff. Whoops.

  2. I didn't go into a store this weekend, but I placed a Factory order. I love my jeans, but trying to mix in other, easy-to-wear options like the wool skimmers.

OT - 3 Madewell reviews - Rivet & Thread collarless workshirt, motorcycle sweater & my favorite....the assembly pullover

  3. Does anyone have images to share from the November style guide? Jcrew hasn't loaded theirs on Pinterest. :(

  4. Does anyone have any suggestions for care of the pixie pants and also Tippi sweaters? Didn't realize dry clean only until I purchased.

    1. I hand wash my Tippi sweaters in cold water with Laundress soap and air dry. HTH

    2. And I handwash my pixies -- cold water, delicate cycle, gentle detergent (I use Ivory Snow), lay flat to air-dry, and they're good as new.

    4. I have a specific "wool" setting on my (front-load) washer - I wash my Tippis using that cycle setting & lay flat to dry; they come out beautifully.

Thanks for the Pixie pant wash tip, cobalt! I bought some Factory Gigis & haven't worn them yet.

    5. I wash my pixies in the front loader with all my other darks and just air dry. Haven't had a problem yet!

    6. I hand wash my tippis with conditioning shampoo (herbal essences or whatever's handy), roll in a towel, then lay flat to dry.

Two years ago I took 3 tippis to the dry cleaner and they shrank them all! I exclusively hand wash now. I also use the Laundress cedar/lavender spray after each wear, which seems to have kept my former carpet beetle problem under control.

    7. I put my Pixies in the laundry machine (top load...it's a shared apartment building laundry), delicate, cold. Then air dry. No problems yet either!

    8. Thanks everyone!

@rosie, I had a similar problem with a sweater some years back, came back to me child sized.

  5. HOLY COW!

i just got my extreme popback today... aside from it missing the original price tag and it possibly having been near a sweater (some fuzzies on it), the skirt looks like it's in good condition! no holes, tears, stains that i can see... and the zipper and all that works! the tag on the inside says it's HO 10 which totally boggles my mind that it was still floating around somewhere.

  6. Since I was apparently the last person in the world who didn't own the Downtown Field Jacket, I picked one up this weekend for 30% off. Also bought the Zip Tunic Sweatshirt. I've been looking for comfy tops to wear with leggings this winter, and this sweatshirt is a good basic. I don't think it's worth the $80 full price, but with the discount it was a good buy.
