so this should be in the hate section but I don't know where that is ;-) I bought my daughter a crew cuts sweater. she wore it once, I washed it and now it has a huge hole in it! Unfortunately, I bought it a while ago and don't have the receipt. Has this happened to anyone before and did j. crew give you a refund? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how they are about stuff like that these days, but years ago I had some (machine washable) pants that didn't hold up thru a wash, I mailed it to them with a letter explaining, and they sent a replacement.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that JCrew does not censure reviews. I sent one describing my experience with smelly puffer vests and they published it verbatim. Hopefully they will do something about their dawn issues!

I had a similar experience with a sweatshirt dress I ordered from J Crew online 2 weeks ago. As soon as I opened the packaging, I noticed an odd smell. It almost smelled moldy, like they kept it in the basement of a damp warehouse or something. The dress was final sale however so technically I should not have been able to return it. I called their customer service line and they immediately refunded me the cost of the dress and shipped me a replacement. They also let me ship back the smelly dress free of charge.
ReplyDeleteI just had a wonderful experience with J.crew customer service and frankly I always do. Sure I get the wish we had more emails and what not but when you have an actual problem they go out of their way to fix it.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed a couple of changes to the website: quick shop display shows all color options and full size display. Love these improvements.
