Happy Halloween! {are you celebrating with J.Crew?}

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

I love Halloween!!! Such a wonderful day where we can dress up in the most fantastic outfits. Many of us will be out trick-or-treating with the tiniest members of our family, while others will be handing out candy (like myself!) or attending a spooktacular party with friends.

I decided to do my own version of Drunk J.Crew and thought the image above was a perfect candidate for the "Monster Mash" song. I have no doubt most of you will be hearing that song at some point today. ;)

As per usual with the {celebrating with J.Crew?} posts, it might be fun to have a post on what we plan on wearing today. :)

I plan on wearing J.Crew's Piazza Jacket (Item 81751), with a white button down, and a pair of Madewell Skinny Skinny Jeans. Pretty simple outfit made perfect thanks to this sweater jacket in orange. The Piazza Jacket really is the perfect go-to for Halloween. Not only is it gorgeous, it is the perfect layering piece to keep me warm.

What are you planning to wear this Halloween? Will you be trick-or-treating? Are you planning to go "head to toe" J.Crew or parts J.Crew?

  1. Going trick or treating with my husband and daughter. It might rain on and off in the city (SF), so it depends what J.Crew outfit I'll be wearing, and also the traffic and the madness going around the city with the Giants parade.

  3. Love the Piazza jacket idea- I have it in black. Don't you think it is one of the best things JCrew ever did? I rate it up there with the Bella jacket. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. I have posted my outfit on Instagram. I am wearing the bateau cashmere sweater in cinnamon spice (I think that's how the color was called, unless it was pumpkin something) from a few years ago and black skinnis/peacoat. Happy Halloween Alexis!

  6. My BF and I are doing a Halloween pub crawl with friends. I'll be dressing up as a burglar (in head-to-toe J. Crew-- closet items are posted here). By the end of the crawl I'm really hoping we stop at a diner, at which point I will turn into the drunk J. Crew hamburglar. Happy Halloween, everyone!

  9. OK. Some of you will love this one. I am wearing the infamous "Danke" sweatshirt with the gray/cream buffalo plaid shirt and some toothpick jeans.Yes, I bought it at a really good price and I am willing to admit it. That way, I can thank all the parents that bused their children into my neighborhood. Expecting no less than 300 unless it rains. Happy Halloween!

    2. Kudos to the likes of Doodle Daschund & Shopping Celle who shell out for kids trick-or-treating in your neighborhoods. Your safe streets, beautiful homes & welcoming faces will be impressed on some of them their entire lives.

    3. Thanks GIgi! I'm glad that they have a safe place to trick or treat. We go all out with a graveyard and lots of spooks & goblins so it is a big party:)

    5. Well said, Gigi! Despite our snow/wind we handed out all of our gigantic bowl of candy and I couldn't be happier! I wore the black rib-stitch cardigan and the Bon temps tee.

  13. Alexis, a late reply to this post but you all inspired me and I had no orange anything. So off to EBay to search for an orange sweater so I am prepared for next Halloween. I scored an orange J Crew sweater for $15.99 and it arrived today. It is lovely but even better when I saw that it was from FA07, I had to Google what I had received. Well the item was 87343, and it is the Sophie Peacoat and it really more a red to me than orange. I love it and will be sporting it for Thanksgiving and maybe a Xmas event or too. Thanks as always for the inspiration ladies.
