J.Crew In-Store Sale: 25-30% Off Full Price {40% off sale}

"Thanks!" to  many of you, including JRSConifer & Mel (in this post), who shared the following email & news from J.Crew.

 J.Crew is offering 25% off full priced items, plus an additional 30% off for card-members. They are also offering an additional 40% off final sale items. These offers expires today, Sunday, October 26, 2014.

 Wait there's more! J.Crew is offering free shipping on all online orders today too!

The email includes a bar code for the store associate to scan. However, I doubt you will actually need to show this. I think they will apply it for you at the cash register without it.

    I went in to check out the new collection but I didn't find a single thing that interested me even with the promo. A couple of sweaters that looked interesting on line (chunky turtleneck and pointelle cable) were too short and/or boxy irl. I wasn't even tempted to try anything on...the colors aren't helping things either, I can't wear any of the icy pastels. I'm holding out hope that the holiday collection will be more up my alley.

    The men's and kids items look great at usual...if only they could turn it around on the women's side.

    I was finally able to snag a pair of the metallic bronze Vans in my size online! They were an additional 30% off final sale, not 40% off, but with the free shipping I don't mind.

    Also, if you're still trying to figure out your Halloween costume, I've posted a couple easy ideas using a J. Crew striped shirt here. Happy Sunday!

    Ot: have you tried hand washing tilda shirt? This is the cotton shirt with rhinestones on the collar. Instruction says to dry clean....thought I ask....thank you !

      Susan, I hand wash my Tildas - I've also machine washed them in a lingerie mesh bag on delicate cycle and pull it out before it goes through a full spin cycle. So far all of my jewels are intact!

      I am so glad, hand washing or putting in the washer will not ruin the shir! you just saved me some dry cleaning $$$.

    I wash mine on delicate cycle and air dry. Haven't had a problem yet with anything falling off!

    Ladies, I would like to wear my collection variety dress- will wear them with the harper leopard flats- but I need a jacket for the cool morning? I only have a black blazer, black field jacket, pinstripe bomber, pinstripe puffer vest, factory herringbone puffer vest, and the navy with white horizontal puffer vest...- any suggestions? I was thinking maybe i could suck it up and just wear a scarf- So any suggestions?
