    1. I second this! Please have a warehouse sale in Miami. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, and I would cry tears of joy of there was a warehouse sale within two hours of my house.

  4. JCrew1, What? Where did you hear that totally upsetting information? I hope this is not true. I am calling the warehouse.

    1. I called the warehouse last week to ask about the next warehouse sale and they had told me the dates, it was never mentioned this might be the last one.

Unless they are closing this distribution hub (which I can't imagine) I can't see them them doing away with the warehouse sale here to clear out excess inventory.

Fingers crossed, otherwise I'll be hoofing it up to Lynchburg which is twice the distance.

    2. If they close the clearance center I'll DIE. That would not even be funny.

  5. strange--usually they have one in lynchburg at the same time, but I haven't gotten an email about it. I did get an email about a "winter clearance event," but it was just the regular clearance store hours.

  6. Sooo pumped for this. Also, they have a good sale going on in the actual store right now. Blazers are $40, all cashmere sweaters $40. Normally blazers are $60 and cashmere is $65. I got a $300 cashmere sweater for $40, woohoo!

  8. I love going to these sales!

One comment and I'm sure no JCAs are the guilty parties but we got there really early back in August to be the first batch in the door and it was really annoying to have people constantly letting their last minute friends join them in their little groups in front of us. If you haven't been to these sales before, they only let a certain number in at the beginning and then stagger it accordingly from there.

I thought it was extremely rude to see people doing that. If your friends want the good deals they need to get there early too :)

  9. Has anyone ever been to the sale on a Sunday? Is there a long line in the morning or would it be best to go in the afternoon?

    1. Addy O., lately I've found the best strategy is to go midday on Sunday. I still find really great things, and don't have to wait in line. Examples of items I have recently found this way: Cashmere snood ($5), multiple Collection dresses ($20), several pairs of Valentina heels in hard to find size 11.... and the list goes on. The last sale, they were still putting out new stuff right until the end, which they usually NEVER do... so that may be why. There is no need to go early and wait in line for hours.

    2. Thank you so much for answering my question J.CrewD! I will aim for going midday. I was going to wake up early but I will aim to arrive there midday instead. I hope I score as well as you did!

  10. The next Lynchburg Sale is the week after Ardens - And yes, they have been talking about closing the Ardens Warehouse down for a while now. With this large shipment coming in, I seriously doubt this will be the last one but its coming. They have double the size of the Lynchburg one and its already busting out the seams - Product has to GO!

    1. The WHOLE warehouse, or just the warehouse sales?

  11. Oh boo. I will be out of town AGAIN! Maybe I'll make the next one.

  12. The talk has been going on for months - whether it comes to fruition soon, well, theres still talk about that as well. The idea was to get everything centralized in Lynchburg - notice how they use the ENTIRE Warehouse now for their Sales. The talk was they would not use the Arden Warehouse for 'Warehouse Sales' any longer. The Clearance Stores should still be going strong.
It's amazing what you learn when you're in those Warehouse Sales and just listen.

  13. Went earlier this morning, got there at 6:30AM and already a line. Jcrew handed out tickets which was very nice to the first 100 people in line, they must have had complaints about people cutting in front and joining their friends, thank you JCrew.

Offering an additional 10% off your purchase today too. I scored a ton of stuff, very excited.

    3 cashmere sweaters @ $25
Many dresses, including sequin tennis dress, Origami dress, Director dress, Dottie dress, Maisie dress, Jules in Ashbury Floral and others for $15 each plus the discount.
Many shirts, Liberty of London PJ top for $5, a Collection ostrich feather Capelet for $25 (was $498) for fun and some lounge pants including the silk ones that are $128 for $10.

Good selection of shoes but those, along with the coats I thought were still expensive considering it's a warehouse sale so I didn't look too much.
