Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the WINTER sale, or to see some new HOLIDAY arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. I did end up going. My store still had the extra 30% off sale (final sale, of course). I ended up getting a belt and 2 pairs of socks. Not very exciting, but way cheaper than the online sale prices.

I also tried on the Stadium-cloth Cocoon Coat. I know I purchased it already (it's coming on Tuesday), but I couldn't resist trying it on. If you often wear a blazer to work, this coat actually is large enough in body and sleeves to wear over your blazer and didn't make me any larger than the "oversized" look the coat is supposed to achieve. SUPER warm. Love how the collar goes up to protect against the cold. The double zipper isn't the easiest to zip up, but if you pull straight down on the fabric on the right side while you're zipping the zipper on the left side, it's not too difficult. Typically, my normal size in coats (4) doesn't fit a blazer underneath, but with this coat, the size 4 does.

Also saw some ridiculously cute navy polka dot ballet flats (the Mila novelty flats, I think) with red cap toes. They were size 8 and only $35 with the 30% off! I almost bought them, but I couldn't think of enough outfits to pair them with in my wardrobe. Alas. They were comfy.

    1. Oh man. I saw those shoes in my size 8, took them but changed my mind and put them back. Then I changed my mind again and went back for them and they were gone! (sigh)

  4. The 30% off will continue in-store along w/STYLEFIND. I updated the In-Store Price Guide w/some mens prices. Also, pics of a Fair Isle lambswool scarf, net $13.99, that works for both genders.

    1. Congrats tdgd. It flew right out of my cart before I could pull the trigger. I was trying to get to the free ship mark. lol. Happy that a fellow JCA scored it though. I did manage to get the wool Cafe capri in the Saddle color that I've been hunting as a consolation prize.

  6. I stopped by the Factory store and they were cleaned out. This was good for the wallet, anyway! Said they weren't expecting new merchandise for another week.

  8. Popped into the Toronto Eaton's Centre store, they're still having 40% off sale. Sale section had a lot of larger sizes (10s and 12s) but very few small sizes. Left empty handed, but my wallet thanked me!

  9. I went to my B&M this weekend and made out with two tops, a blazer, a sweater, and PJ pants for $150.

My real score this weekend, though, was a Teddie dress I found at Buffalo Exchange for $26! I have the exact same dress at home, but it's now too big. I've been meaning to get it tailored but haven't gotten around to it. I was SO excited to find the size I needed for way less than the cost having mine taken in!

  10. I stopped by my store today to make a return, and they are running an extra 40% off. The sale section was not as full as I've seen it in the past, but there was still quite a bit of merchandise.

For those looking or interested: there were 4 pair of the Fair Isle leggings (navy) in sizes small, large, and Xlarge. I believe they were marked to $59.99 before the 40% off. They had the Lace-printed sweatshirt in small, medium, and large plus an xsmall on the mannequin across from the registers. They were marked $49.99 before the 40% off. There was one Fair Isle ski sweater in size xsmall for $99.99, and one Herringbone quilted vest size Xlarge for $79.99 before the discount. There was one size 2 Liberty perfect shirt in claire-aude priced at $49.99, and numerous Liberty perfect shirts in wiltshire in varying sizes for $49.99, as well. (All prices before 40% off.) They were all at the Orlando store in Mall at Millenia: phone 407-226-9732.

I didn't purchase anything in the store, but did have my PS place an order for a Lady Day coat in black for me. The last time I traveled up north in the winter I had to borrow a coat, so I decided that at this price I will get a coat in a classic silhouette and color to have for any future trips I need to take. Plus it isn't final sale.
