Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. 40% off sale online + free ship on any order! LOVEIT

    And indeed I do. :)

  2. Oh my! I hate final sale though...

  3. Nothing at all in the sale section for me but I am glad that the free ship on any order is in place until Tuesday using the same code.

  4. I totally caved. I decided to get the Natalie studded sweater and the Mosaique clutch. I am quite nervous about the sweater because I sized up to a medium which was the smallest size available. Crossing my fingers.

  5. @jcrewphd -- I know, me too. But I'm using it to stock up on basics that I know fit (cafe capris, perfect shirts, etc), so it worked well for me this time! I was thinking about braving the heat and going to the B&M tomorrow to check out the same, but I think this cured my shopping urge.

  6. Already caved with the 40%off sale and free shipping, "loveit". Also applies to factory.
It is about time! Happy shopping!

  7. I caved! 40% off sale is just too good to pass up. I ordered some items I know will be winners...so excited!

I hope everyone who's been looking to snag popbacks and stalked items gets lucky during this promo :)

  8. Gah! I just placed an order around 10 pm for some sale items thinking the free shipping without minimum was a good enough deal. Do you think they might be generous and accord me the new sale prices? I sent an email as soon as I noticed the new sale. Grrrr....sale fail.

On the other hand, there are definitely some full price fall items I'll be falling for (hello flame pencil skirt...)

  9. @thatdamngreendress: I called up Customer Service and they were happy to retroactively apply the 40% off on an order I placed Thursday night.

As of Thursday the B&M I stopped by was running 30% off sale.

  10. By far the best promo. Final sale is a turn off however..... I'll see what I can find until it expires! Anyone thing they would still keep update inventory daily? I have a feeling sale section will be stagnant

  12. I don't plan on making a trip since I was just there on Wednesday.

OT: I posted this on the other threads, but in case you missed it...I scanned the first 71 pages of the August 2011 Catalog. You can see them HERE. :)

  13. Thank you FFM!

I ordered the cable cashmere and plaid pencil and the black blythe last night. I will review all when I get them.

I am so no biting on the sale. I didn't want most of the stuff they have now at full price and it doesn't look much better to me at 40% off!

  14. If anyone sees a Cerise Jackie cardigan in a size small, can you please let me know where you saw it, as well as the price? TIA!

  15. I am going to wait til next week when the new arrivals are out. I'd like to try the new wool pencil skirt and see what else they have. My store doesn't get many shoes or anything, so disappointing.

  16. I'd love to find the Dorrie in toffee in a 14. I have the modern red and totally love it. Was hoping to get to Easton at lunch, but a meeting got moved to noon and another popped up for 2pm...not enough time! Wish I could splurge on more stuff like the capris, but they're just not flattering on me.

Chances are I'll just end up spending $$ at the resale shop on JC pieces, like the navy blazer I scored last night, LOL.

  17. May I know who was the stupid JCrew policymaker to cancel monthly online catalog for browsing?? Give me a break, most of people read the beautiful pics from catalog, will draw customer desire to buy!! Bring the catalog online browsing back, dull!!

  18. AppGal: Cerise Jackie, size small spotted at Chicago Michigan Avenue store. Two whole stacks of Cerise, at least 3 smalls. Sorry to report it is still $62.00. (312) 751-2739.

  19. I caved & they got me with the extra 40% off in-store. I picked up: 2 of the cute jeweled cricket pins, a navy linen boatneck dolman tee, the shrunken fisherman sweater in beechwood and the chunky flyaway cardigan in the pretty green tea color. All for about $85 I swear this was my last trip til fall. Still looking for the elusive rowboat dress in faded black size small if anyone sees one in store marked down.

  20. Bought the Linen Conference Jacket for $30! It was $49.99 in the store versus $99.00 online. Glad to see my long sleeved fall tees are already out. I wear them in summer. I had to remind the sales staff of the new catalog. They'd forgotten to display them. It was early...

  21. Didn't visit a store this weekend ... it's too HOT to shop ... triple digits for the last 30 days ... I picked up two items from final sale, the silk Casbah blouse & the beatrice blouse in olive ... I've been wanting both tops for a while ... GREAT DEAL ;)

  22. Received the double serge pencil skirt in heather acorn and leopard. TTS compared to past pencil skirts. Heather acorn is lined and very well made! Leopard is not lined. I love both of these skirts but the heather acorn is constructed much better than the leopard version.

Also got the Darlington pursette in honey brown - beautiful leather and good size shoulder bag.

Pretty pleased so far with the fall Crew offerings!

  23. Just got back from the b&m at Easton in Columbus, Ohio. The store was only giving 30% off, but the salesperson said that if I knew of specific stores that were giving 40% off, they would give that discount, too.

If anyone is looking, the Easton store has a mirabel pencil skirt in size 6 ($79.99) and a mirabel dress in size 4 in the charcoal ($99.99). I was tempted by the skirt, but the placement of the embroidered leaves was a little too much like Eve's fig leaves, if you know what I mean.

  24. Anyone notice that banana republic is using the same model as jcrew?? The girl with blondish curly hair that seems quite petite?

  25. I haven't been to B&M for over a month. I just called my nearest one (South Coast plaza) to see if they had any sale goodies left. According to the SA all the dresses and smaller shoes sizes were gone. Guess what, no extra % off sale! It ended last night... I just don't have any luck finding sale items in my size at that B&M so I'm glad I saved some $$ on gas and ordered online.
