Weekly Share: Other JCrew-like Retailers

This is the weekly "Other JCrew-like Retailers" post (similar to the "Off On A Tangent" posts), where we can share our finds from other retailers that have offerings similar to J.Crew (like LE Canvas, Gap, BR, Talbots, Ann Taylor, and the like.)

If you have recently encountered items that are similar to J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including experiences with certain merchandise pieces, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

    Old Navy has 30% off new arrivals online--yesterday and today. Got some things for myself and my daughter. It is nice to get a % off new items and have them be returnable:)

    Talbots B&M in Stony Brook NY is closing on August 15, and running a clearance sale - 60% off sale price. Lots of items left. If you see something online you like, it may be worthwhile to give them a call and see if they have it on clearance. 631-689-5197.

    If you live in Wisconsin, the Lands' End Warehouse Clearance event starts today in Dodgeville. LE Canvas items will be available. HUGE discounts and great deals.

    I got some GREAT items from Lands End Canvas with the 20% off sale. They remind me of the old Jcrew. Even though the new roll out is great I still feel like Lands End's quality is better (there I said it even though I don't like to admit it to myself)

    My favorite item that was a surprise, the Women's Heritage Pea Coat XXS in Persimmon

    Bodens fall catalog has so many items I want. I folded down so many page corners!!! I got my JCrew fall catalog and there is nothing I really want:( Boden will be getting my $$ this fall. It is like old school JCrew--clothes with a fun twist. Some of their prints are a bit much for me but overall I like the detail and quality of their goods better and their fit is consistent for me.

    Yay! Additional cuts on Talbots site! The prices are crazzzyyyy. Unfortunately, the injustice of Canadian duties forces me abstain from buying anything over $25 (supposed to be $20, but Canada post lets under $25 slide), so I just got a pair of shorts. Great deals for Americans/Canadians who don't mind duties though!

    P.S. Has any Canadian had under $30 orders slide through w/out duties?
