Even though I didn't take advantage of it, I loved the most recent % off promo, too. It's definitely the best one I've seen come around in quite awhile! I exercised some serious self-control to resist it! I hope that j.crew benefitted greatly and saw an advantage to doing that more often...Just maybe don't attach final sale to it :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I really loved these no-minimum free ship offers, both for the sale items and the code recently sent to cardholders. It makes a BIG difference in my willingness to place an order. I like being able to buy myself a little treat and get FS, rather than waiting for items to pile up in my bag to get to $175, at the risk of losing out on sale or fast-selling items.
ReplyDeleteI've placed four orders in the last couple of weeks. On the low end, it's so nice to be able to pounce when that $11.99 tee pops back without having to worry about paying $8.50 shipping on top of it. On the high end, it's nice to be able to order more than one size without having to pay shipping for the item I know is going back. (I wish JC had some petites in teh store so I could try sizes, as I never know if I'm going to need a P or an R.)
huge rave for jcrew , i was desperately trying to buy the knit military jacket during the promo but it kept getting dumped. as usual its back in stock now and i chatted with online cs and she actuallu applied the 40% off and free ship today as a one time courtesy. iam delighted to say the least!
ReplyDeleteNo minimum on free shipping is always a smart way to entice customers but the 40% made "LOVEIT" one of J Crew's best promos ever. I was saving my budget for the fall roll out but could not resist this promo. My items shipped quickly with no problems. I'm always hesitant to buy on final sale but I was confident in my jacket size and got the Elsa Jacket in plaster which fits perfectly (size 12Tall I'm 5'11" with a long torso) and is very flattering, classic and versitile.
ReplyDeleteJust recently had 2 wonderful interactions with JC online . Ordered many fabulous items with the recent 40% off (way too good to resist!). When the items arrived my espadrille flats had a slice in the fabric making them un-wearable. I was quite frustrated, but Online took care of my re-order no questions asked in under 5 minutes! Also just ordered a dress from final sale that for whatever reason would not add to my cart (this seems to happen from time to time with my browser at work grrrr!!) I called online and was done with my purchase in less than 3 mins. Both wonderful experiences and this is what keeps me coming back time and time again to the Crew.

I'm really not a denim person at all, but when I saw the Factory destroyed vintage matchstick jeans on sale during the 40% off promo, I figured I was due for some comfy jeans to lounge around in so I ordered them. Well worth the $32 I paid. Really cute and soooo comfy. FYI they seem to run on the short side which was great for me. I thought I'd have to shorten them but they're the perfect length for cuffing just above my ankles.
ReplyDeleteI also have to say, of the few final sale items I ordered during the 40% off promo, I was actually happy with all of them! And the Factory items weren't marked final sale but I loved those too. Apparently I CAN shop final sale as long as I stick with the few items I know for certain will fit.
LOVE that my rewards card arrived yesterday, and can't wait to order some fall items with it!
ReplyDeleteSummerweight chino shorts (35959) are totally a winner for me. Got them in a basic navy and they are very figure flattering, even though I'm straight as a board below the waist. The size 6 I received has just a smidge more room than the size 6 5" chino in modern red, so these can be my "buffet shorts" :D
ReplyDeletePerfect fit boatneck tee (36529) was another great pick. For $7.79 I doubt I can get a more flattering boatneck for less..puchased the black and white and they are both very soft.

silk blythe olive a wee bit tight in the upper arm area but i am working on losing till the fall
boatneck tee , very soft but not a great fit for this busty gal, i may use it as a layering piece
whisper linen cardi, love it!tts and university purple is a great color
souk top in pink ..very dainty , tts
exited to get my other orders on monday.
Love that I ordered a pair of shoes this late in the season on sale that were in the ORIGINAL J. Crew box! YEAH!
