ReplyDeleteI got the Talbots email too about the big sale yesterday. It was a great deal on many items being marked WAY DOWN esp. with my birthday discount on top of sale prices but I ended up not clicking and ordering after entering all my info. I decided there was nothing I had to have and so I saved my $$$. Was proud of myself!
ReplyDeleteJust got 4 pairs of shoes and this gorgeous dress in black for $132 at Talbots. Their shoes are approximately 5000 times more comfortable than J.Crew which certainly has something to do with the leather linings and soles. I can't wait to get my order. That dress reminds me of the sharkskin dress J.Crew had a few years back. I am hoping it will be my new LBD!

ReplyDeleteI popped into ON today and picked up a cute little Rumi-esque dress in the bright red-orange color. It's about $35, way more reasonably priced for a dress I'm going to run out to pick my kids up from camp in or go to the grocery store in.

ReplyDeleteFYI everyone, the Talbots sale ends tonite, Wed. It's also good in-stores. The additional 20% is not, but the other prices on scarves, shoes and dresses are $9.99, $29.99 and $39.99 as advertised on the web. So, if you see something in-store you like, but it's not marked just ask what the price is.
I also stocked up at the Talbots sale, getting the black and the haircalf d'orsay flats (have the pink), the Tuileries jacket, and the sequin dress ($32, are you kidding?) Love the espadrilles, but have enough of those. Was very tempted by the dupioni dress, but have something similar. I did send it to my mom though to possibly wear for my brother's wedding! Was a fabulous sale -- now that's the way to clear out inventory! :) Thanks to Gigi & FFM for pointing out the 20% off code.
