"Thanks!" to many of you, including IRL, as well as A Bigger Closet (in this post), who shared the following email from Madewell this morning.
Madewell is giving us a sneak peek inside their Fall LookBook (click here to view online). There are definitely one or two stand out pieces worth checking out!
Madewell is also offering free shipping on all orders (no min!) with promo code YESPLEASE. This offer expires Sunday, July 31, 2011.
Will you be checking out the Fall Collection at Madewell? Are there any items you are interested in getting? If so, please share. :)
The new version of the suede sandstorm boot is beautiful! Much prettier in person than it looks online. Just the right height, runs true to size. The two light colors are so pretty. It was my first fall purchase with my 15% Seattle coupon.
ReplyDeleteI love the spread Madewell did but is it me or is the quality of their goods just not as great as J.Crew?
ReplyDeleteI've purchased things via online and at the closest store to me (almost 200 miles away), and the tops I've purchased so far don't seem to withstand their original shape, color, or fit within a couple of months (and only being worn less than 5 times). I know I'm really good at taking care of my things. I don't know- maybe it's just me or maybe I've just been spoiled with the quality of J. Crew products..
I do enjoy the neutrals of fall in the collection. I had already decided to try a vintage banana repub neutrals, whites khakis this fall...and this kind of fits
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a MW store so I don't know how the fit and quality is. Every time I go online to look for sale items my size is pretty much gone. I give up on Madewell...
ReplyDeleteI like their blouses and I find the quality, finish and durability to be at least as good as J Crew if not better.
ReplyDeleteThen again, I can name at least 5 pieces of J Crew purchased in the last year or so that looked years old after a couple of wearings so I don't think J Crew lives up to its old rep for quality any longer.
Honestly, my experience with Madewell is that they live up to their name.
