Free Shipping On *All* Women's Shoes!

"Thanks!" to many of you, including lunarary & xoxo (in this post), who let us know the following new promotion.

J.Crew is offering free shipping on all Women's shoes (click here to shop online). Even better? This offer doesn't just include regular priced but sale priced shoes too (click here to shop online)! This offer expires Friday, July 15, 2011.

This is a pretty good offer. A great excuse to get a pair of shoes! I love that it applies to all shoes too. Lastly, who else is surprised to see this offer today and not tomorrow? Usually, J.Crew does not run a new promotion while another one is going on. I for one, like it! :)

Will you be checking out J.Crew's shoe selection? If so, please share which items makes the top of your must-have list! :)

  1. I just can't bite on this one; I ordered 10 pairs of shoes from Talbots yesterday - most of their shoes are 29.99 and free shipping with code JULY. Just can't beat that!

  2. Also, if you use code 023087249 you receive an extra 20% off plus Free Shipping at Talbots, making the shoes an even better deal. I ordered shoes from there over the July 4th weekend using the code. I would re-order with the lower price but my size is sold out now, unfortunately.

  3. Can anyone comment on the maryanne suede and leather wedge sizes? I usually wear a 7.5 in jcrew platforms/heels but a 7 in oxfords and a 6.5 in flats. Crazy, I know! These only come in full sizes, should I size up to 8 or down to 7? TIA!

  4. Wish the prices were a teeny weeny bit lower. LOve ballet flats...but not when I have to spend have my weekly food budget! THis teacher on summer break will just have to admire :(

  5. It's a great promo but unfortunately the poor quality of J.Crew shoes has me buying elsewhere. I bought the Oxford ballets and the Quorra high-heel oxfords this year and the ballets are a bit pinchy and the Quorras are just meh. At least I was able use the blanket 20% off for ballets and the discount + extra 30% off for the Quorras. That's enough J.Crew shoes for me.

  6. FFM, THANK YOU so much for posting that Talbots code. I was all set to order with the "July" code but the extra 20% is awesome! Not much good left in size 10 but I scored a few pieces. And the best part is, they aren't final sale!

AND, they all have leather linings and soles. I'm in love. Hope they fit!

I do appreciate the free shipping from J.Crew though... I might bite on the Quorra sandals in chalk.

  7. I was thinking for a couple of weeks that J Crew must have a promo on shoes to reduce inventory. The number of shoes in the sale section has been high for a long time. I think they churned out many styles that just do not appeal to their buyer. Right now they are stuck with a bunch of uncomfortable, plastic lined foot contraptions with aspirational prices and mostly non-returnable. I think they need more than free ship to move this lot...

  8. I've been admiring the Lucca Suede sandals, mostly because of the low heel height. The price is a bit much for me though. I've never tried any of JC shoes and am a bit dismayed by some of the reviews of their quality.

Thanks for the tip on Talbots' shoes. I'll definitely check out their site.

  9. It's a nice promo, but I agree that they're going to need to lower the prices to clear out a lot of these. They're just too trendy for the prices. I also bit on several Talbots shoes -- awesome prices (especially with the code) and very nice quality. (sale dresses are also only $40).

IKD -- Size up in the wedges -- their sandals always run on the small sizes. I wear an 8.5, but always have to do a 9 in sandals. I did try the maryanns and they are cute, but just a bit too high for me.

  10. Maryeb, I have Lucca sandals and they are nice. I got them with 20% off, but I still think that was way too much. They are soft and the mango color is lovely but they are not leather lined. At first I thought the imitation leather lining looks and feels great. However, after I wore them in the heat, I realized that my feet were sweating and slipping. In fact I would have returned them but I already wore them, so they are just one of my regrets. Imho, they are cute but not worth more than around $50.
On the other hand, the fact that they were back ordered for a long time just shows what king of shoes could have been selling better. If J Crew would made simple, all leather, padded platforms but with lower heel, great colors and under $150 they would sell like hot cakes, imo.

  11. wow, that is a serious deal on the talbots shoes. i am super tempted but talbots shoes always run too small for me. is talbots still doing poorly? think they have tried to go too youthful for their core demographic, esp. w/ the 4" heels?

  12. I want to get the salina leather sandals but I'm so unsure about the fit and the general feel as they are not available in the stores in my city.
Can someone please comment on their sizing? I'm 7.5 and not sure is the 8 will be too big. Any other info on the sandals are welcome.
    Thanks so much!!

  14. Thanks, AJC, very helpful.

I agree. I would definitely buy shoes like the ones you describe.

  15. Thank you so much FFM for the codes. Just ordered 3 pair. You're just a wealth of knowledge...savvy shopper.

  16. FFM, I was lucky enough to be able to re-order. Thanks for the code! It saved me over $20 on the Bow Peep-Toe Platform Pumps. This afternoon my lovely husband is returning the pair I got over the July 4 weekend at $46 and change (ordered from store so got free shipping, they just arrived yesterday. I was able to re-order today and get them with the free ship, 20% off, at under $26 with tax.

What a deal! I had originally purchased these at full price minus a bit with a promo when they first came out and could not justify keeping them so I am thrilled to be able to get them at 15% of the original list price (yep, I am a nerd and just calculated it out).

  17. ajc, loving "foot contraptions"! I love my cambridge oxfords, but haven't had much luck with other shoes...

  18. Cass, yeah, I think Talbots missed the mark with the 4" heels. I am 5'10"....... definitely don't need or want that much height. I did buy one pair, the bow peep toes, but I am sure I will decide they are too high and return them. Just wanted to try, since they seem high quality.

Re: sizing, I ordered the patent pointy toe pumps in my normal 10, and they are too small, but I am not sure if it is just the pointy style. I re-ordered in a 10.5, we'll see how that goes. Thankful they offer 10.5!!!

  19. OT, but has anyone ordered the Thomas Mason Perfect Shirt in Pink Stripe? I saw Ashley Olson in this picture

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2014154/Make-free-Ashley-Olsen-unrecognisable-casual-jeans-shirt-shares-smoke-break-mystery-man.html

and it that little tab on the bottom side seam looks very much like my white Thomas Mason shirt. But the shirt doesn't look the same pink. Does the JC Thomas Mason shirt look like this IRL?

    Thanks!

  20. I actually did bite on the free shipping for shoes but it was a minimumal purchase for the
Minnetonka® fringed low moccasins in brown to wear around the house and town. I got them for only 20.99 and with no shipping they were sold! (as long as they ship)

I saw these on someone and thought they looked pretty interesting. I never gave them a glance when they were online. Just chalked it as another one of those weird items that sometimes come around.

  21. have gone through my collection of J Crew footwear (about 15 pairs) and the only true 'loves' in it are my skinny flip flops. Right now they are still available in most sizes and colors for under $6 with 30% off and with free shipping so you can stock up.
I like them better than other brands and I use them outside in spring/summer and year round around the house and to the pool, so I always like to have an extra pair in case they break (and they do).

  22. I'm glad to hear so many of you ladies were able to get the amazing deal on the Talbots shoes! I know the sizes start to get very limited once the prices drop. Too bad both they and J.Crew don't give price adjustments on sale purchases like Anthropologie and Neiman Marcus do.

    ReplyDelete
  23. ajc,

Yes, I agree. JCrew flip flops are the only ones I wear. They fit my narrow foot perfectly. I have never had a pair break and one pair I had for over 4 summers of wear before I had to throw them out b/c they were just worn down too thin. I prefer the smooth footbed though of old over the textured ones they have out now.

  24. I think they need to remove "final sale" from their sale shoes so to move them. I couldn't buy the shoes...even though I wanted them...during the 30% as I didn't want to be stuck with shoes that didn't fit and a bill of $70-100. That is too much money to take a gamble on shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  25. pathos,

I agree. The shoes at Talbots that are $29.99 are not final sale so you can return them. That is the only way to sell shoes is if you can return them!
