Madewell is offering shoppers a special treat. Normally teachers and students enjoy an additional 15% off purchases by showing a school ID. Well, students and teachers can now take 20% off any purchase in stores. This offer expires September 7, 2014.

Went to purchase something from Madewell today and only noticed after I ordered that they now charge duties to Canada! It already sucks online shopping in Canada because the shipping is never free and we don't get promos like this student discount but adding duties (which J crew doesn't do) makes Madewell another place I probably won't be shopping at anymore. Apparently it's a new thing since August but there was no warning anywhere and they haven't really updated the website's FAQ to address this. Super dissappointing!!
