Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SPRING arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. J Crew new promo showing up on the website. 30% off final sale in store and online - code SPRINGTHAW - April 15, 2013, 12:01am ET through April 21, 2013, 11:59pm ET.

  2. Went to the Robson Street store in Vancouver. Got the indigo polo with the 25% off sale. A little worried about the warning that the colour may rub off. Also, got the Ludlow suit jacket in cotton-linen. Interestingly, I noticed a slight discrepancy between the in-store prices and online. $98 (CDN) vs $104 for the polo, and $418 vs $430 for the jacket, in-store being marginally less. No complaints. Is that often the case?

  3. Snagged the jeweled sweatshirt in navy and a couple of tees. The 30% off sale items was still on this weekend.

    Some reviews here.

  4. So, um...I had the sale goggles on, and just bought the herringbone schoolboy blazer in neon pink for $49.99 pre-code (tall and petite sizes are at this price in this color, if you are interested). Nevermind that the aged driftwood version is still hanging in my closet with the tags one. Am going to wear it in the next few days for sure ;)

    1. Wendy - A net $35 for that blazer is good. Have you seen it irl? I tried on the factory version in this post and loved the color. They're probably very close in huge, w/the retail being more saturated.

I have the wool schoolboy in redwood from a couple few years ago and JUST wore it this year. So I hear ya.

    2. Thanks, Gigi. I haven't seen it IRL since last year, but I always look for your review before buying FS. You had links to several ladies' reviews, as well as your own review of the blue. They are always super helpful :)

I def didn't 'need' it, but I've regretted the last few times I passed on good deals, so I bit. There's always the exchange or e-bay, right? But hoping it works...

  5. Super excited to see 4" chino shorts in store this weekend! Sounds silly, but that 1" more makes a huge difference and I was happy to find the perfect white shorts at 25% off ;)

  6. I only went in to return a bathing suit I ordered online and I ended up getting a pair of the Minnie pants in vibrant flame for about $28. I couldn't pass up the price and bright color.

    1. I also got another pair of the Minnie pants in Vibrant Flame. They were $9.99 kill price in my store, as were the Boulevard green color and No. 2 pencil skirts in double serge wool (dark poppy & veridian green?). My sis got one in size 4 and I got the dark poppy No. 2 for my mum and she was estatic that it was such a good deal. She's that lucky size 12. No such luck for me.
