  1. I'm loving the Sterling skirt in petite. It fits wonderfully. I gave the No 2 pencil skirt in petite a try and while it fit in the waist, it was very tight in the hips. The Sterling Skirt is cut very nicely. Love the colors too. I picked up the camel and grey in the recent promotion.

  2. Loved the long 30% off promo-- But my wallet did not. Also love Thomas Mason shirts I was able to purchase for half of what they cost normally.

  3. I love the way the net-a-porter site describes J. Crew ... "luxurious take on everyday staples."

That positioning makes so much sense to me, with the current focus on Collection pieces, soaring price points, fashion week presence, bejeweled everything, and clearer distinction between retail and factory.

The brand overall is no longer "classic with a twist" as when I first discovered it years ago. Today's J. Crew really is a "luxurious take on everyday staples."

    1. Your post is funny and I agree! I stopped my JC obession while abroad. So after over 10 years, I'm now home, having morphed into a JCrew follower (thanks to their insanely aggressive marketing) after initially experiencing great confusion and bewilderment on how it's styling has changed over 13 years!! I've made several JC purchases recently, at least half of them collection pieces. But for me, it's just a jump off point. Frankly, JCrew's quality was much better 10 years ago, especially the wool/ cashmere and leather.

  4. Can anyone comment on the Cece flat in blush stone suede or tawny sand leather? I am trying to find a good nude color and was curious if anyone can comment about these colors. Thanks in advance! Have a great weekend!
