Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SPRING arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

    1. AppGal - Not sure if/when there will be a new, sweeping rollout. There was talk of moving to smaller rollouts, as other retailers have done and that seems to be the case. A few new things I saw yesterday mixed in with the last arrivals:

      1) Silk cami (43290) - Chartreuse with white polka dots. Has a keyhole at the neck/upper chest, small ruffle at the neck like the Naomi. I only noticed the one color. Took pics & will post a review. Cut the price tag off in the shot, so I don't recall that.

      2) Box pleat skirt in circle jacquard - Reviewed awhile ago by Roxy/Effortless Anthro in a guest post. Just made its wrinkled debut on the West Coast.

      3) Sheer polka dot top - It has the silhouette of the eyelet top. I saw it at the last minute, so I didn't try it on. I'm not sure if the body has polka dots or just the chest & sleeves. The effect of the black chiffon or whatever it is made me think of the collection ruffle collar shirt (review)...but with the eyelet silhouette. Sorry no price on this top either.

    3. I saw some very large print red and black/ semi geometric (maybe a palm leaf?) pieces at the concept store. Also, there was a wonderful predominantly white full skirted sundress with a splashy pattern at the hem, and, I believe at the bust. It was very retro and lovely.

  4. This is slightly OT, but has anyone seen the linen schoolboy blazer in the mint color in a size 0 or 2. It's sold out online, and my local store had them but they're gone. TIA.

  5. I have a couple of returns from my recent promo hauls, so I will stop by to take care of that.

Is anyone else having a JC promo shopping hangover? I have lost count of the number of packages I received in the last month, and I have literally dozens of NWT spring/summer items crammed in my closet!

I love it ALL but it's time for a SHOPPING BAN for me. Three months, which puts me to July 1st, perfect timing for when I will start craving fall clothes, the season JC does best IMO.

I will enjoy reading others' comments and reviews. Have a great weekend, JCAs!

  6. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like now EVERYTHING in the sale section is now final sale. (And I was getting pretty good at hunting for and only ordering the things that were NOT final sale! Maybe they're on to me!) Bummer.

    1. Patti: Yes, I noticed that too! Even the sale swimwear is now final sale, so I will not be purchasing anymore pieces, even with the extra % off.

  7. FYI: The Liberty Blazer in June's Meadow is now marked down to $99.99 AND you get an additional 30% off! It's sold out online but still available in some stores! I just got mine and posted pictures of it on my blog! Everyone have a wonderful weekend.

  8. I went to the Eaton Centre store yesterday and they were also offering the additional 30% off on sale items, making them final sale. I picked up another Tippi cardigan and cashmere hat, plus a cashmere scarf and socks for my husband. Belts were on promo for 25% off but for some reason their computer had it as 20% off. I bought a patent leather belt and saw the mistake after I left the store, and had to go back for a price adjustment, very annoying.

Off topic, but in case anyone is looking for the Boyfriend fatigue jacket, XS, olive drab (item 19985) or the Collection Printed Floral shantung dress, size 4 (item 29094), I am offering them here before I send them back to the warehouse on Monday. Both are sold out online. The Boyfriend fatigue jacket really is an olive drab, not the khaki that appears in the online picture. I found the dress to be slightly smaller than regular (non-Collection) J. Crew dresses. Contact me at stylishchemist at gmail dot com if interested.

    3. heh...I came into the discussion backwards and was wondering what 'boyfriend fatigue' was...

I suppose it's a minor illness we've all come down with at some point:)

  11. OT; I just received an email from J.Crew with a free shipping code as a "token of apology" for "issues with our website". I couldn't check out this morning no matter what I tried. The code is appreciated but they really need to overhaul that website.

  12. Went yesterday and they were running promo of 25% of Women's knits and shorts. Not sure how long it's running. I saw a few new items. Short sleeve stripe maritime type dress. Really cute. Material is a little stiffer then maritime. Def runs TTS.

  15. For anyone looking for the Liberty Jkt in June's Meadow, I saw one at Old Orchard this morning, size 8 marked down to $99.99.

There were a few items on the floor that I hadn't seen before and the SA said they were told next significant rollout will be April 24.

  21. I live in LA, and my nearest store (the Americana at Brand) always has a small sale section, but with very good selections. I recently bought a super cute hoodie at that store (http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/knitstees/jacketscardiagns/PRDOVR~34362/99102891954/ENE~1+2+3+22+4294967294+20~30~~20+17+4294966973~15~~~~~~~/34362.jsp) for $50 and I'm planning on shopping next week (all jcrew, of course) so excited! ;)

  25. I was at the mall today and walked by I saw a super cute top that was peasant-y looking - comes in ivory w/red stitching and navy w/cream colored stitching. I love these kinds of tops! I wanted so bad to go in and try them on/see the price, but was w/my kiddos, so no go for me. I'll have to pop in this week and check it out.
