Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. 20% off women's knits & tees thru Wed. Free shipping on the offer, too, which is nice.

  2. Lake Grove NY has 30% off sale items - final sale though. Schoolboy madras perfect shirt was $19.99 - 30% - still two size 0 left as of yesterday. Neon gingham perfect shirt in blue and Liberty springlily perfect shirt were $39.99 - 30%. Bunch of striped knits there for $19.99 - 30%, but I was all striped out so didn't pay attention.

  3. Hit up both my local stores, picking up a navy striped tee, the Swingtime sweater with the dark blue stripe, a drapey tank, and the button-back tee in olive. I was debating between two white dresses, but opted out, getting the Dorrie skirt in modern red plus a gingham shirt in a bright blue check instead.

Can't find shorts I like that are flattering, so it appears I'll be wearing skirts and dresses on vacation in DC. Looks like it's supposed to be hot and rainy. :(. Hopefully the weather changes by next week!

  4. OT, but is there a free shipping code floating around somewhere? Does anyone have a code they would be willing to send me? My email is loulou7329 at hotmail dot com. Huge thanks in advance!

  5. I stopped in the Grand Rapids store on Sunday on my way to visit family and was able to find the Shrunken Fisherman Sweater in Navy in an XS...yippee! I also was so happy to find the skinny calf hair belt on sale for $39.99 plus 30% off. I have had both of these items disappear from my cart several times so it was great to find them in the B&M. I found it interesting that the sales associate told me that if I took the extra 30% it would make it final sale, yet no where on the receipt does it say that. I wasn't bothered by it anyway since I had tried them on and knew they fit, unlike final sale on items purchased online which always feels like a bit of a risky gamble to me.

  6. I poked around this weekend with my mom & picked up the plaid perfect shirt in Guava and a sequined tank in warm peweter ... I returned my Canvas schoolboy blazer (my too-small 6) and the PS at the register said "do you KNOW how many people are looking for this jacket???"

LOL. Someone in this area will be happy I'm still carrying my winter fluff. :P

  7. Went to a Crewlet in north GA and was completely disappointed. Not only was I ignored by every single associate in the store (which wasn't that busy), the selection was blah. I saw some tees from last summer for $36.50 when I know I paided about $15 for them last year. No thanks.

  8. I went to the Rockefeller Center B&M in NYC yesterday. There was a huge sale selection, but nothing too exciting and not many small sizes. I did pick up a black cotton sundress for 29.99 plus 30% off, and splurged on the full-priced Caroline dress in orange ikat.

  9. OKC - Penn Square did not have much sale nor did they have the extra 30% off. Picked up one of the boy fit plaid shirts for $19.99(mint green/burgundy). Very disappointing!

  10. I ended up going, despite thinking I absolutely wouldn't. I got the arrowhead bracelet, Arianna dress in black,a pair of flip flops and the peasant blouse in muslin. Can't believe I paid $39.99 for that bracelet. It was addtl 30%, but the net price was higher than I'd expect to pay. Esp for something that made me think of Little Edie on an archival dig.
