  1. J.Crew has extended the free shipping on orders of $150+ until Sunday, June 12. Sooo not loving it J.Crew. Was hoping for a much better promo. :P

  2. I have been very impressed with J Crew shipping to Canada they have really improved it from 1 year ago, it is fast and the tracking # is now given via email, I no longer have to call for it.

I find the quality has improved since my orders from last summer with the exception of the Casablanca Blue Vintage Tee. All the other Vintage Tees, Summer weight Bermuda Shorts, Pullover Hoodie have all washed multiple times without issues.

  3. Nice update this morning, some new items moved to the sale section, some significant markdowns to existing items, and some oldie but goodie popbacks. Dusk red Coddingtons for only $79.99, after a struggle I finally forced myself to pass because the color just does not work with my wardrobe. I did buy the vintage navy Jenna's cardigan marked down to $54.99, not the best price but I knew I'd regret not buying it if it disappeared later, and in fact it did disappear just after I bought it. I wish the wild plum color had been available in my size.

  4. It's finally hot enough to wear all my summer clothes, so I pulled out a bunch of summery skirts that I've collected over the years.

I realized that all my favorites are from J.Crew. Even though some of them are years old, they still look great -- I have a Summer 2005 pink critter skirt embroidered with bees from the Factory Store, that will get a ton of wear again this summer.

  5. JCrew shipping and return times have been awesome lately! Most of my orders have shipped within 1 day. Returns have been credited within 1 business day of receiving my return. The whole return cycle lately has been about 4-5 days from the day I ship to the day I receive the return notice. Pretty darn great!

Oh - the secret to sending back returns is NOT to use the USPS label but use the UPS label. I found out that packages with the prepaid return labels shipped through the post office are low priority. They are treated like bulk mail. Sometimes they will sit at the PO for a couple of days before they make it into the system :(

  6. McShoppy, I'm with you on the fast shipping time. I ordered something Monday and it was delivered today. That is insane. When I lived in Ohio it took a week at least for me to get orders. Since I moved to western NY, I get things SO fast. And I'm only 300 miles from my old location.

Also loving my campo de fiori silk tank I am wearing for the first time today. Every time I look down it somehow brightens my day! I wish they still made similarly showstopping pieces.

  7. J.CrewJD, you must live near a major UPS hub. I was told that the Chicago hub is massive, that's probably why I get things so quickly too, the packages probably take a direct route without any intermediate stops. Wow, I see it has a Wikipedia entry. The author must be a shipping nerd. :)
