Crewcuts Email: visit our shoe shop (plus, free shipping)

"Thanks!" to Desert Flower & Marietta, who shared the following email from Crewcuts this weekend.

The email promotes Crewcuts' shoes for Boys (click here to shop online) with the tag-line of "we specialize in happy feet- from Adidas to Sperry, plus a few of our own".

What are your thoughts on the Crewcuts shoes? Would you buy children's shoes from J.Crew?

  1. My child wears a lot of the Adidas sneakers, Sperry loafers and some of J Crew's house brand shoes. They are expensive, but usually last at least 3 times longer than anything else we purchase and are very comforatable. I think they make some excellent choices in children's shoes.

I would especially recommend the Adidas Sambas and Stan Smiths which are super comfy right out of the box are are not marked up over MSRP.

  2. Yes, my daughter wears many shoes from JCrew. I would say the ballerina flats are not the comfiest, but very cute. I love the ease and convenience of buying hard to find shoes such as the Stan Smith's children sizes along with water shoes, cute sandals and, of course, something for me :)

  3. My son loves his Adidas Samba sneakers too. I usually get flipflops for my daughter when they are on sale. I get hers to match mine if possible! I scored the plisse flats on ebay (satin with taffeta ties) and they are GREAT!

  4. My son has the MacAllister boots, and they are great! They're very comfy (on non-PE days he chose to wear them to school over his Nikes) and they hold up well. He's also had several pairs of flip flops. I have to say that CrewCuts shoes do hold up very well. He wore his flip flops every day last summer and he out grew them before they wore out.

  6. We are huge fans of J.Crew's shoe selection. My girls wear wear the Adidas sambas and the Jack Purcells. They LOVED picking out the colored shoe laces too. The Bensimon sneakers are the absolute best Spring shoe. They wear them to gym class. My personal new favorite are the Colorblock sandals which look as comfortable as Berkinstocks and the colored straps so fun and a wear-anywhere shoe.
